The space was perfect, clean and comfortable. The sauna and outdoor shower were magical, the yard was perfectly manicured. Joellen was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay in the area

Garden Bungalow

AnitaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The home was just as we expected from seeing the photos. However, it was much more quiet than expected and we slept quite soundly! We like to eat in rather than always relying on restaurant fare. I found everything I needed to prepare light meals. I am a bit fussy about having a clean kitchen; this met my standards. The location of the home is perfect for being close to Turtle Bay, downtown, shopping and restaurants. It was easy to get to and from the freeway! For those who like the outdoors it is an easy drive to lakes, Mt. Lassen, rafting on the river, hiking etc. The best part of my stay was being greeted every day by Bear. Our dog had to stay home at a kennel and I missed him. So I was overjoyed when Bear barked and asked to come in to greet us. He even looks like our Teddy! John is a thoughtful host. He answered texts in a timely manner and was quite helpful.

What a picturesque place on the creek. Come prepared to enjoy the recreation right off the dock. Very comfortable and Craig is a wonderful host. Good location to and from Crater Lake using either the South or North entrances.

The Sugar house & Sister Loft at Shasta Lake!

JoshuaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Wonderful place and gracious host. It was a top spot and we hope to make it an annual trip to this location. Advise would be to check the water levels of the lake prior to booking though, if that is why you are booking this location. We wanted to go to the lake and it was about 25-30 feet below the average level. But otherwise it was a fantastic location and beautifully renovated. I will also add that any time I needed to contact the host they would answer immediately. Very pleasurable experience.

Blessings House Bethel Church/RiverTrails

AmberRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had such a wonderful stay at the blessings house. I’ll be honest, I was apprehensive about being checked in by the owner, I’ve always liked the ease of self check in. But Rhonda was incredibly friendly and easy going. She gave us a quick walk through, handed us the keys and was on her way. The home itself is in a great spot of redding making it easy and fast to go to restaurants or go do activities. The house has the most warm and comfy feeling, it was very nicely decorated and had plenty of blankets and towels. It genuinely felt more like a home than the typical Airbnb feel (they normally feel kind of staged?)…. I can’t recommend this home enough! If we ever need to use an Airbnb in redding this will be my go to😊.

River House

We were a party of 8 we all had comfortable beds, the dining table was big enough for all of us. The house is clean and comfortable. Fishing right out of the back door. Sylvia responded to all of our questions quickly. I would stay there again.

Beautiful cottage w/pool in bamboo forest

TaraRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a peaceful time. Our niece got married on the property. We could easily walk to the big farm house and then walk back to the cottage. The beautiful bamboo blocks all the noise from the road and the guests at the other house. It is a lovely setting and very comfortable.

Cheerful 1-Bedroom Lake Cottage

AnnaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Lea's place was perfect for a quick getaway. It is was centrally located to fit our needs (between the nature-Mossbrae and McCloud Waterfalls and the city-Redding). You instantly feel at home due to the decor and well stocked kitchen. Our family loved going to Basshole Brews and the little market had everything we forgot to grab in Redding. The tub in the Master Bathroom is a must after a long day of exploring and our daughter thought she had her own hot tub. We will definitely be back!

Cottage #3 with private Hot-Tub, 15min from Lassen

StellaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved the cabin! There were five of us (three generations) and overall there was plenty of space. The only exception perhaps was a single bathroom. The wood burning stove provided plenty of heat and eventually we learned to operate it. There were two outdoors fire pits as well with lovely pkaces to sit around. A hot tub was quite popular! We could cook nice meals in the kitchen, the dining nook was a bit small though. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. They checked on us daily, brought wood and started the indoor stove. As typical, the lighting in the cabin was on the darker side and brighter lights would be appreciated. However the overall setting, the peacefulness and the proximity to Lassen make this place special. We left a personal item behind and the staff went out of their way to mail it to us. Thank you!

Cottage #2 at Living Springs RV & Cabins Resort

CassieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cottage was a lovely spot to base ourselves for a weekend exploring Lassen and Shasta. The indoor fireplace kept us toasty and warm and was already lit when we arrived by the wonderful hosts. Everything was clean, comfortable, and easy. Would like to come back in summer to make the most of the outdoor grill!

Cottage on River Farm -Applegate Wine Trail

AmberRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Wendy's place was truly wonderful. I was in the area for work and wanted a quiet retreat in the evenings - I found that at the cottage. My dog, Sylvie enjoyed the sounds of nature such as the frogs in the evening, the ducks quacking in the marsh, Rooster's from a neighbor (I think), goats, and the beautiful Applegate river. What makes the cottage and Wendy's place so wonderful, is the view and her hospitality. But! there is a lovely winery directly across the river - an enjoyable, nature walk to tasting some delicious wine. I can't wait to go back!
