We very much enjoyed our time at the Teapot Cottage. The cottage was clean, modern and well decorated, and very close to the stunning Ennerdale Lake. We were impressed by the welcome basket, which was full of local cakes and breads! Though we didn’t use the pizza oven or barbecue, we did brave the hot tub (in December!) and it was well worth it. The cottage had everything we needed, and had a real cosy feel that was perfect for a Christmas break. We did have some issues with noise coming from the rental next door, however this was just bad luck. Lamissa was also very responsive and proactive, and did everything she could to address this. Overall, the Teapot Cottage is the perfect place if you are looking for a relaxing break (with a little bit of luxury!). We would definitely come back.

Wonderful place - all the little details thought of and catered for. We particularly enjoyed the views from the hot tub after a nice walk in the lovely local area. Beautifully decked out house with character features but still with all the modern amenities and comforts one expects. We would recommend this place to anyone .

A perfect spot for a rare child free night. We felt well looked after and the apartment spoiled us. Stunning interiors, great location and just what we needed. Carolyn and Chris were fantastic hosts who were quick to respond. The stay exceeded our expectations. Will visit again.

Great location for a three day work trip Shower has a height restriction so max 6ft like me, Great that biscuits coffee and milk provided Ie If you are Peter Crouch it is not for you :)

Lovely, clean, spacious lodge in a lovely setting with a perfectly placed hot tub. The lodge meet all our requirements. Plenty of storage space, extra bedding provided and all the essentials. Highly recommended.

Luan is hands down the best Airbnb host we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, she made our weekend spectacular with thoughtful gifts that instantly made us feel welcome. The house was beautifully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and we especially loved the games and the hot tub—it made our girls’ weekend so much fun and extra relaxing. Every detail of our stay exceeded expectations; this was truly more than a 5-star experience. We’re already planning to come back because we didn’t want to leave! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we felt at home from the day we arrived. The cottage was perfect for our extended stay (a month) and we will fondly remember our time in the cottage, Frosterley and the Weardale and North Pennines area. Our hosts were very friendly, laid back and made us feel wonderfully relaxed during our stay. The cottage was warm, comfortable and well appointed and ideal for our needs. We would definitely recommend River View Cottage and the other accommodation in the courtyard to family and friends and we would definitely consider returning in the future for another break.
