We spent 2 nights there, what a peaceful and beautiful place it is. The place it exactly how it describes on the listing. The cabin is lovely. Really really liked the place, will visit again!

Jan’s place was perfect for cozy evenings in with lovely open living and dining room area and during the day easy access to the beach with some great suggestions of eateries. A great weekend away home from home

We had a lovely holiday at this property. Everything had been thought of and a lovely welcome pack was provided along with treats for the dog. The house was lovely and warm, clean and dishwasher tablets etc provided. The towels were lovely and fluffy and the shower was hot. We found everything we needed and were comfortable throughout our stay. As we were three adults staying at the property we appreciated bedroom two having two small double beds instead of single beds. It was close to the centre of the site so not far to walk to the pub. We didn’t use the leisure pass as the weather was nice so we enjoyed long walks on the beach instead. The surrounding areas are great and well worth a visit. We would definitely re book in the future.

The cottage was cosy and clean and it was good to have cleaning products and condiments there to use. The property is within 5 mins walking distance of the centre of Hornsea town and a short distance from The Mere and the beach. The lack of parking at the property was not an issue as there was ample parking around the corner and we were able to unload the car outside the property.

A really lovely house, immaculately kept and in a brilliant location for enjoying all York has to offer without the need of a car. Everything we needed was to hand, and the owners were easy to communicate with, and had left useful and friendly instructions. My sons and I had a great few days, and I'll be recommending this house on to family and friends (and hopefully I'll be back there again myself!).

Great communication and pleasant stay. The house smelt incredible when we walked in. Struggled with the shower settings and no USB sockets anywhere, only minor feedback to give. Thank you for sharing your home with us this Christmas!

Very comfortable, clean, quiet and well presented apartment with everything as described. Easy to find and very close to the station with trains to Scarborough and Hull. About 15 minutes walk downhill to the beach, less than 10 minutes to the shops and restaurants at a slow pace. Lots to do nearby. Highly recommended!
