Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ☺️

wow!!!!!!! absolutely stunning place with amazing surroundings and the accommodation was 2nd to none!! everything was pristine, and you could tell, the host has put their heart and soul, into this undertaking!!! A wonderful host, who made us both feel right at home, and was very attentive, friendly, and eager to make our stay, the best, that it could be!! We couldn't rate this any higher and would certainly recommend to friends/family. very well done Richard! you are a star

Beautiful place to stay! Lovely enclosed garden for my two dogs to wonder around. Hot tub was lovely once we got the hang of it! Nice, clean and spacious inside. We went for a long walk round the area. Also drove to a beach about 40 mins away. Thank you again!

This place was simply stunning. The house itself was so spacious and well set up. We lived the addition of the hot tub and table tennis table - all perfect distractions when the weather is not reliable :) Communication with Julian was excellent and any little queries that we had on arrival were sorted almost immediately. Great hosting. We will absolutely be back to stay in this wonderful place. Thank you

The house was lovely, we felt right at home. Claire was responsive to messages before our check in which made finding and checking in even easier. The kicthen was lovely and clean with lots of space. The bathroom was lovely and clean. Dartmoor is so pretty, the kitchen doors led right onto an amazing view of Dartmoor with an amazing sunset. The hot tub was amazing.

Wonderful stay at Apple Barn, Alan and Davina are fantastic hosts. We arrived to a wonderful welcome basket with a delicious home made lemon cake, even the dogs had a lovely little welcome basket which was so thoughtful. Peaceful and stylish stay with fab walks nearby or great day trips out and about. Perfect little getaway with the hot tub to unwind and reset!

The loveliest, most peaceful little paradise for a couple of days away from reality! The house was deceptively big with everything you need for a little stay, and great recommendations from Louise and Andrew on local amenities, pubs etc. Louise met us on arrival, walked us to the house and advised on using the hot tub. Otherwise left us to it but both Louise and Andrew were very responsive to messages as appropriate. The house was done up nicely and very clean, and the farm itself is beautiful and very peaceful. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had an amazing peaceful break here with our family , it was beautiful lovely for dog walks and a great park for the little ones to play ..so relaxing. Kamila was so helpful anything we needed she bought round to us we had a lovely log fire in our cosy cottage so she stocked us up on wood when we needed it she also let us feed the animals on our last day which was a great end to a beautiful trip away it made our little girls day thanks so much and thanks to Mario too for being so nice and welcoming 5☆

Karen’s and Steve’s place is in a beautiful location. Lots of beautiful scenery and animals walking around in the huge garden The animals are very friendly and extremely quiet. The property is a beautiful cottage with lovely views. Secure rear garden for our little dog to walk around talking to the chickens and ducks and geese etc. Steve and Karen were extremely helpful and made you feel very welcome. Made for a relaxing weekend stay which is exactly what we wanted.

We've had a lovely stay at Honey Cottage - great views, comfy beds and lots of homely touches. Barbara was a fantastic host, would definitely return!

Highly recommend the Hideaway. A very clean, comfortable, cosy cottage with everything you need for a home from home. Dog friendly garden with fantastic views. We ( and our dog) loved the rural walks to Talland Bay and Polperro.

Right from the get go Kelly was friendly and extremely helpful .. she changed the check in and out times , which were so helpful for us with our 2 year old grandson .. Artie loved the toys that were under the stairs it was all of these wonderful extras that made it homely .. about a 2 minute walk to the beach which was perfect as we were up and down a lot ! Lovely walks nearby and pub recommendations from Kelly .. we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend Kelly and her home

Our stay at April Cottage was fantastic we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Beautiful and peaceful area to stay with plenty to do! Daniel was a great host and replied quickly to our query’s! Would definitely stay here again 🌺

Wow! What a find. This is a beautifully presented property in THE most peaceful location. A lovely welcome hamper on arrival was much appreciated as was the offer of an early check-in. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed the sunny terrace every morning! Highly recommended!

Totally fabulous! This is one of our favourite every Abnbs. The location was great- right on the water and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house is exactly as described and had everything we needed during our stay. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. We particularly enjoyed: Heligan gardens; the Fowey Hall walk; hiring a boat for an hour; kayaking directly from the house (we bought an inflatable kayak with us); Readymoney beach; eating ice cream from Ruby's and King of Cones. The kids loved the upstairs bedroom because they had their own floor/bathroom but they did comment that that it gets quite light in the morning so would recommend a sleep mask or gro blind if you're a light-sensitive sleeper staying in that room.

Very cosy yet modern little cottage. All amenities worked well and we particularly liked the wood burner in the winter is so nice and cozy! We walked to Polperro which was quiet and picturesque was tricky in the winter but we made it!! Really clear instructions on the walks which were spot on. Owners greeted us on arrival and the scones were really tasty (best I’ve tasted).

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely cottage. Even with a 3 year old and an 8 week old I managed to get some time to relax on the patio, watching the lambs play and just listening to birds singing. Truly wonderful! We really lucked out with some lush weather and spent a couple of days playing in the pool, my daughter absolutely loved it! It was a warm enough temperature for her to play around quite happily most of the day! And it was just us there all day! I loved the attention to detail having a little drinks fridge there too, great idea! We'd love to come and visit again one day! Thanks again for a lovely few days!

We arrived as guests, left as friends. Thank you so much Josephine for your uplifting and warm nature that has been transferred to your beautiful little nook. Although we only stayed for one night, the range of facilities was overwhelming and satisfying to see. All beds were extremely comfortable, we regrettably had to exchange for our sleeping bags the next night. An extremely responsive host, who was accomodating to all our needs. Such a lovely little cottage, perfect for the two of us. Had everything we needed, clean, cosy, and we felt right at home. We will definitely be recommending it to others who wish to visit the area. Hosts were very accommodating to our plans, kept in touch and were available if we needed it. We've returned to the city feeling very refreshed - thank you!

Thank you for having us this weekend, what a Love-Lee place. A great spot for peace and quiet, lots of space to enjoy and can imagine it being different for every season of the year, a lovely place by the river to enjoy a fire, public footpaths for getting out, lots of information provided to make the most of these when you arrive too. Getting there is easy and description for access clear to follow. Hosts were lovely and very much look to leave you alone to enjoy but around if you need them. You can tell they have put a lot of thought into the grounds and cannot recommend enough if you are looking to get out into nature, would like some peace by the river or like to relax up in the treehouse in the early hours to see what the local animals get up to cannot recommend enough : )

Enjoyed a relaxing few days in this beautiful cosy cottage situated in a very quiet and tranquil village on the banks of the River Fowey. Chris had thought of everything to make our stay easy and welcoming with lots of little extra touches including the log fire being ready to light on our arrival and unlimited logs available for us to use. Very comfortable, well equipped and perfect for our need for relaxation. Chris is an excellent host- information both before and during our stay was excellent and very quick to respond to my enquiries. One of the best places we have stayed in. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Jeanette was a lovely host, gave clear instructions of how to get to the cottage and we arrived to a very nice homemade cream tea! Upon arrival Jeanette gave lots of good recommendations of places near by to visit, a lot of which we did and we had a lovely 3 days. There are some beautiful walks in the area. The cottage was great - had a very homey feel to it. Comfortable bed, cosy fireplace, hot shower and everything you could need in the kitchen. The location was perfect, town and supermarkets close by but also felt very secluded and peaceful. Brilliant view of Brentor church from the garden, only a 15 minute walk away and a great place to visit during sunset. Thank you for the lovely stay Jeanette! We’d love to visit again soon :)
