We had a truly wonderful stay at Anthony’s spectacular home in Windermere. The house itself is beautifully maintained with all the amenities a family could need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. One of our favorite features was the garden and the lovely conservatory — perfect for morning coffee or winding down in the evening. Located within a private community, the property felt very safe and serene, giving us a real sense of comfort throughout our stay. It’s just a short 4-minute drive to the charming town of Bowness, where we enjoyed exploring the shops and dining at some great restaurants. Plus, it’s conveniently located for day trips to many of the Lake District’s top attractions. Anthony was a fantastic host — very communicative and accommodating, especially with a flexible check-in that really helped us out. We highly recommend this place and are already looking forward to coming back again!

Delightful coastal feel with comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 babies. Lisa and Gavin were very helpful throughout the whole process.

Had a fabulous 2 nights at the cottage with my Mum. The cottage was cosy, warm and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed cooking a meal in one night and the other we drove 5 minutes to the local pub which served great food. We enjoyed 2 days hiking, the location was perfect for us. Coming back to a hot tub was the best feeling when you legs and feet are aching! The cottage it surrounded by fields and sheep, it was absolutely stunning. Amy was really helpful with any questions we had. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at mini-moon. The cottage was modern, light and clean. The modern interior and home comforts made our stay feel luxurious. The copper bath is a lovely touch. Everything you needed was supplied. Nicola was a fantastic host, she was available whenever you needed her.

We had a lovely 4-night stay at Teapot Cottage over Easter 2025. The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything our family of five needed. The location was peaceful and picturesque—perfect for a relaxing break. The hot tub was a highlight—clean and ready to enjoy on arrival which was great for unwinding in the evenings. Inside, everything was well-equipped, from the kitchen to the cosy living areas. Communication from the host, Lammisa, was excellent throughout. Clear instructions were provided, and she was quick to respond to any questions. We’d happily recommend this place to others and would definitely return for another family getaway. We cannot more highly recommend this beautiful cottage which was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated with every amenity required. A peaceful location, a 10 minute walk to Kendal town centre and a short drive to Windermere and other stunning locations.

We had a fantastic few days staying at the Wigwam. It was clean and very spacious and had everything we needed for our family of 4. The location was perfect, right on the beach and a short distance from the main centre and shop. Susan was very responsive with any quiestions we had. We will definitely return :)

This is a great place. We could’ve done with longer - struck gold with the weather so didn’t use the leisure facilities as much as we might have. Really well placed for visiting Keswick and Penrith. Whinlatter Forest took us about 30 mins to get to - great for walks, bikes, cafe.
