The Honey Peaceful home

I stayed here for a week. Vanny and his family are very welcoming and friendly! They speak English very well. The weekday breakfasts were a very nice touch. I recommend that you stay here if you are on a budget and want to be near the russian market area. Make sure you ask about how the lock outside works when you check in, not hard but it's much simple if you are briefed about it.
A wooden table is set with decorative items and a floral arrangement. Comfortable cushions in vibrant colors line a seating area, providing a view of a traditional Cambodian house with a tiled roof and wooden windows in the background, framed by lush greenery.

Chef Nak Luxury Homestay

Sarin and Chef Nak were absolutely fantastic hosts! They were super responsive, told us which places to visit within Phnom Penh and also helped us hire a car to get around. One thing to note is that if you plan to go into the city often, the journey can take around 45 mins to an hour, given that the car has to cross a stretch of water by boat ($2 each way). In conversation, we mentioned to Sarin and Chef Nak that we are vegetarian and they were so considerate that they helped us buy fresh vegetables and even prepared a lovely welcome breakfast. Their place was perfect for a short and relaxing getaway, and the house itself was stunning. The only slight drawback was due to the heaters being solar powered, we didn’t really get much hot water for showers. All in all we couldn't have asked for better hosts than Sarin and Chef Nak :)
A terrace is featured with a wooden table surrounded by potted plants and flowers. The serene view of the water stretches in the background, and the sky is dotted with fluffy clouds, creating a bright and inviting outdoor space.
