Ross and Kyle are fantastic hosts. They have a beautiful guest house with huge rooms and all the amenities you would want. They very kindly picked us up from town on arrival and organised a day safari in Lake Nakuru National Park. They also organised for our washing to be done! A fantastic stay,would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Nakuru!

Stayed for a week, enjoyed every minute of it. It was secure (gated community, gated compound), cleaning was done daily, Carolin, her family and crew were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. About two miles from Ananas Mall which we enjoyed walking to. Easy access to public transportation. Would stay there if in the area again.

Ruth and Nigel were very accommodating of our small family. We had lots of privacy and they were very willing to share their garden and pool with us. This secluded haven in the Karen suburbs is a very peaceful and leafy respite to return to if one has a day of business in Nairobi or for the foreign tourist a wonderful, homely place to stop over and glimpse the high quality lifestyle of Karen, Nairobi. The dogs are super friendly and enjoyed our toddlers attention. The large bath was a big plus for our young children.

Such a beautiful location and garden with large trees and even horses. There is a coffee shop close by and a couple nature walks which was great for bird watching. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. This is my go to for Nairobi in the future.

I stayed at Jürgen's AirBnB for two and a half months, and I really enjoyed my time there! Jürgen is a very friendly and helpful host, the place is located in a calm and secure neighborhood, and is very well equipped for both short- and long-term stays. I will be back for sure!

Would really recommend Edith’s place, had a 3+ weeks great stay here! Edith is a hospitable superhost and efficient to communicate to via the App and in person as well. Edith’s place was as advertised; if you are not looking for elegance or fanciness, this place is for you. It is cozy, clean, relaxing, safe and easily accessible for a great practical stay in Nairobi. It is located in a safe and secure gated neighborhood. Far enough from the busyness and chaos of downtown Nairobi but close enough to get to downtown and around town by car ( found Uber/Bolt ridesharing services to be quite accessible and convenient although public transport is also available). Grocery shopping and good restaurants are within reach ( walkable distances or short car rides). Would highly recommend checking this place out and would be in my priority list next time.

Evans place was a fit stopover for our long family road trip. It was easy to find and access. Evans communicated well from the beginning. The home was large enough for my family of 7 - with four children sharing the double decker and one the single bed. Very quiet and serene. It felt safe. It is a short drive from the main road. There is a lot of parking space and grounds for children to play and roam around. A certain boy offered to wash our car for a small fee - that was helpful. There are chairs and sitting space on the grass to sit or talk and a balcony attached to the bungalow. Swings for children. The lighting of the house is very good. The showers work and the water is hot. Evan's dad was 5 star! What can be improved? Have a Smart TV since there is WiFi:the DStv was not working. Avail or ask guest to carry mosquito repellants. Remove construction material in the house (door frames) and have slightly comfortable sitting room chairs (longer stays). Overall good. We can return.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We loved the peaceful setting and the ability to buy fresh eggs and milk directly from the farm. Susie went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, especially by providing a baby cot and a baby feeding chair, which made such a difference for us. The caretakers, Jane and Lucy, were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The property itself is even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. We thoroughly enjoyed the stunning views of Lake Naivasha from the porch, watching herds of zebra visiting the farm, and cozying up around a lovely fire at night. A heartfelt thank you to Susie for her thoughtfulness and hospitality — it truly made our stay special. This is a wonderful place, and we would absolutely love to return!

We stayed in both houses for the weekend with a large group. Hosts Oscar and Sylvia were super flexible in accomoding additional friends that wanted to camp, even last minute. Beautiful surroundings of the greater Mara area with wildlife around. Chef Richard made great food for us exactly as we had asked for and was very timely. They went to great lengths providing our large group with an mess tent so we could enjoy the outdoors even during the rain :) The staff was all super friendly and everything was organised well. Communication with Oscar was very quick and helpful. Would most definitely reccomend to other groups wanting to explore the northern mara area. I wish we had more time to do some local activities. Hope to came back sometime soon! Philip

Hosts were excellent, always ready to support, and the house is great, comfortable, in a beautiful sourrounding and quiet, which is exactly what I was looking for.

We went to Tabitha after a business trip and her place was a welcome respite from hotel living. It was in a quiet neighborhood bounded by the Nairobi National Park and two other forests. It was very green, beautiful, peaceful and near enough to the city center for a quick Uber ride. Next time, I'll spend time walking and discovering the area. It was also accessible to food deliveries. We were greeted by Jay, the host cat. Jay also gave us a nice send off. I saw monkeys on the trees which was a real treat. The unit itself was clean, tastefully designed and although quite compact, has everything you need for a convenient stay. The gardens are lovely too. Tabitha is indeed a super host. She is very gracious with tips on how to go around the city. I will definitely book again once I am back in Nairobi. Price point is reasonable for a safe and hassle free stay.

The location is in a very safe neighborhood in Nairobi. Easy access to UN and Village Market. Robert does a great job communicating and making your stay very comfortable. This is a perfect spot for single travelers or small families l.

Great hosts with a cozy and comfortable place

Just what we needed for our one night stay close to our friends who live in Karen.

Time slows down as you recline on the cushions, a frosty drink in hand, your face cooled by the breeze. Looking out over Takaungu bay, the flippers of the fishermen bobbing up and down in the waves, dhows outlining the horizon, the kids distracted in the pool, gives you the space to let go of your city worries and let the serenity wash over you like the waves of a calm mid-month ocean tide. Thank you Charlie and Philip and the amazing team for taking such good care of us. Christine's lemon cake will not be soon forgotten! We will be back!

Lisa was an excellent host. She has an absolutely beautiful space that has all the amenities to guarantee an amazing stay. We spent our new year’s holiday her villas with my friends and we were all blown away by her hospitality and we felt more of friend/family than guests. Dave was awesome with the kids, the rooftop enabled a great view of fireworks during new year’s celebration and the staff were extremely kind and ensured our rooms were clean and comfortable throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better find on Airbnb!

Such a beautiful place! The pictures don’t do it justice: the house and terrace were much more spacious than we expected, and overall it all felt very luxurious and modern. All this in just a one-hour drive from Nairobi, amazing!

We spent a long weekend at Pam’s place in Karen, Nairobi. It was perfect for our needs to enjoy some down time in a quiet location, yet near some wonderful restaurants and malls. Would definitely recommend and, if back in Karen again, this will be our first port of call.
