Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Kenya

Really nice house and very welcoming. We all liked it a lot, kids and adults. It is just outside of Nanyuki but very easy to find. There are few nice places in close vicinity including two lovely and really good restaurants. Susan’s house was very neat and clean and we had fantastic and peaceful time there. We had the best sleep ever! Jonathan and George are caretakers in the house and will assist you with anything you need. Very helpful. We will definitely be back.

This was our 4th time at Kilimandege House. Bethany is very informative and responsive as a host. Millie always takes good care of us. She is knowledgeable and quick to respond when we need something. We love this place and highly recommend others to stay there. Thank you Bethany and Millie for always making us welcome

Everything was perfect, great location, comfy beds, close to everything we needed and such great value too! Thank you so much for a lovely stay, we very much hope to be back. Our 3 year old and 18 month old loved the place too, it's the perfect cottage for little ones and a lovely leafy garden for them to play in too!

Alicia’s house is beautiful, extremely tasteful and serene. The beds were fantastic, the sheets delicious and the kitchen was beautifully stocked. Alicia’s team - Sophia, Isaac and Paul - were wonderful as well. They supplied us with plenty of firewood, smiles and guidance. The game drives were incredible and we even saw an awesome hyena and jackal conflict on the drive way in. Perfect home and setting - we’ll definitely come back. Thank you!!

We had an amazing stay! The home was so beautiful and we absolutely loved our time here. It was a peaceful getaway for us and we all had a great time. We were a group of four adults and five children and we were very comfortable in the home. I loved that the dining room table comfortably fit all of us. The children loved the pool and swam in it every day - the water was a bit too chilly for the adults. We hired Susan to cook for us and she did a wonderful job. It was so relaxing to not worry about mealtimes. Everyone in our group loved the home and our time there and we all would love to return.

We loved the tranquility at the cottage, exactly what we needed to begin the new year. The fact that we had the unit to ourselves was amazing, perfect for couples. We got raw cow milk daily for free & even green vegetables when we requested. There was everything we needed & more, loved the home made chili offered. Catherine the help was too kind & always available to help, she’s a gem. We shall definitely be back especially because there was great Starlink Wifi! Only thing is, don’t expect calls on Safaricom or Airtel networks so it’s great when you don’t need to be on call 😀 Cheers to a great start of the year Dion 😇🙏🏽🤓 Tip; it’s near Solio conservancy, take the turn at the PCEA Nanyuki church signage, drive 2.7kms & you won’t miss it ☺️

We absolutely loved it here. A beautiful spot for nature lovers .Peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by stunning scenery. Took a walk around and it was simply breathtaking. Perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature. The host was super responsive, and a big thanks to Regina and Stanley as well, who were just a call away. We’ll definitely be back!

What we loved most was that the location was so convenient. The place was neat, tidy and spacious. Better than we expected.! 😃 Ann the host and Jane the house keeper maintained good communication. We had a great time!

A beautiful appartment with everything you need including a beautiful view. Quiet neighbours and helpful gate guards. With a 5 minute walk to Junction Mall you are close to anything you need and have easy access to all of Nairobi with the proximity to Ngong Road without the traffic being a disturbance. Can't wait to stay here again for my next visit.

I enjoyed staying at this apartment. Joan always responded to my inquires. I have stayed in these buildings before and can confirm the area is a superb location to be based at. If a view from the apartment is a requirement, there is no view. It's blocked by an apartment building beside it. I personally didn't need the view. Everything was as described and as seen in the pictures.

I had a great stay at this apartment in Nairobi! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was convenient close to restaurants, shops, and transport, which made getting around the city easy. The host was very responsive and friendly, making check-in and communication smooth throughout the stay. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and I especially appreciated the quiet environment it was perfect for both relaxing and getting work done. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Nairobi and would happily stay here again

I had such a wonderful stay at this place! Diana & Sharon were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always checking in to make sure I was okay. Everything was super neat, and the view was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend if you're looking for a peaceful and warm place to stay!

What a wonderful space, and what a wonderful stay! Guyo is warm, welcoming, highly responsive and so so helpful as a guide to both Karen and to Kenya as a whole. It's a bit far from the city center if you plan to be there every day, but it is great as a base if you want to explore Kenya or the surrounding areas of Nairobi more broadly, and the cleaning/water/laundry/security amenities are reliable and good. The building itself is surrounded by birds, ivy-covered, and in one of the only walkable areas of Nairobi that I know of; many of the other guests I encountered chose to extend their stays upon arrival. I feel lucky to have found this spot. A comfortable, sunny resting place in a peaceful area of an otherwise somewhat chaotic city. Thank you for a great few months!

Ol jorok cabins exceeded all our expectations and delivered an unforgettable experience! From the very beginning, Sara went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. When we encountered car troubles on our way, she stepped in immediately, sending assistance and ensuring we were well taken care of. Her communication was flawless throughout. The cabins themselves are simply stunning—far better than the photos! The ambiance is serene and inviting, truly a home away from home. Surrounded by fresh air and absolute tranquility, it’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I can’t wait to return and will wholeheartedly recommend Ol Jorok Cabins to family and friends as the ideal getaway spot. A special mention goes to Peter, the chef recommended by Sara—he was absolutely incredible! Every meal was a delight, with top-notch flavors that we thoroughly enjoyed each day. This place was well worth the visit - peaceful, serene, surrounded by a huge 7 - 10acres of grounds where you can go on nature trails and get lost all within your own safe surrounding. The place is well designed and oh so so beautiful. I am definitely going back again this year.

Was a great option to stay close to the park on locals land technically outside the park boundary but because there’s no fence you have direct access to the park! Park is great for self drive option and roads well marked and elephants easy to see. Comfortable 2 bedrooms and clean bathroom with hot water. Kitchen well stocked and water provided. Awesome sunrise view, Kili 1/2 seen during morning and evening :) We had a rented Land Cruiser, roads bumpy but very doable.

My family and I stayed at Paps cabin for 2 nights only because it was fully booked and I couldn't extend my stay. The cabin is private, the surrounding garden is really well maintained and the staff were incredibly helpful. Bunduz is perfect for families that want to spend some quality time and watch beautiful sunsets. The restaurant is an added bonus for those who'd like a break from making their own meals, the food at the restaurant was excellent! The only improvement I'd suggest is the restocking of some of the kitchen utensils and crockery like plates. My family and I will definitely be staying here again

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage The property is new, and everything has been thoughtfully designed with a personal touch. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. The host and the on-site staff are exceptional—they’re always ready to help and check in to ensure you have everything you need. The location is fantastic, right off a good road, making it easily accessible by any car. One of the highlights was being able to see elephants giraffes and zebras not too far off with help from the staff, we took a short drive to see other wildlife. Waking up to the breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro each morning was an unforgettable experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and can’t wait to come back again

Elizabeth’s place was AMAZING! The place is much better than the photos. Extremely clean, safe and very well taken care of. You have a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to be ready to cook. Also in this place is where l had the best hot shower so far. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stop at Nanyuki and visit mount Kenya & Ngare Ndare Forest. 100% recommend 💚

we had an incredible stay at Firefly! From the scenic and sprawling coffee plantation to the avocado trees and the lake, it was a treat for the eyes. Our host was communicative throughout the process. Brian and team were also truly helpful and had much knowledge on the coffee harvests. The team were also available for a turn-down service and no request was too big to accommodate. We are grateful to Snehal and team who also left in our care coffee packages and our own take home coffee which we were able to roast :) All in all, an awesome weekend getaway.

Absolutely a beautiful place close to the Kenya Aberdare National Park. The staff and property is perfect for camp like housing in the bush. If you want a bit more inclusive, they do have a 3 bedroom new hotel on the property with a pool. The property offers 3 other bungalows giving you the experience of the bush. Everything was secure, any amenities required outside the property, the staff obliged to get and they had laundry service in Site that was great after the safari outing!
