We loved staying - the location is perfect, we felt at home straight away and the house really has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the privacy (it felt like we were in a tree house) and as we like to bake and cook we appreciated the well-kitted out kitchen and the herb garden. We slept well and had a very relaxing stay.

We had a great time at this amazing venue. The nature and birdlife surrounding the coffee cabin made it feel super peaceful and relaxing. Just a short distance from the beach with an amazing view of the river. Would highly recommend this accommodation for a relaxing getaway.

Our second stay at Tommo’s Deck and hopefully not our last. It lives up to the photographs with the beautiful views of the river mouth and tasteful and homely house. Everything is supplied and at this time of year the peace and quiet of the location is fantastic. Highly recommended.

Gail and Rod are phenomenal hosts - they are friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The accommodation is clean and spacious, extremely well equipped with stunning views, comfortable outside and inside spaces, and plenty to do in the area. We loved using their kayak in the river and had an absolutely beautiful barge trip with Rod up the river. Overall, they made us feel so at home - a truly friendly South African welcome, we will definitely be back!

An absolute gem. Spacious home with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, two good sized fridge freezers. The ice maker is a great appliance and was very well used! Loved the front deck, a wonderful,place to relax and socialise. We enjoyed the braai and pizza oven. The host is very friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfy. The local security firm drive by regularly, and probably quite bored as it is a Very safe area.

Selah-on-Sea

We had the most fantastic time at Selah-on-Sea. Tracy was a superb host and was super flexible and helpful with our requests. She also made sure to check in with us during our stay. The house is just as described and works perfectly for a bigger family on holiday. We felt right at home with its lovely and relaxed atmosphere. Well equipped kitchen, clean, spacious and a perfect location. We loved being able to walk to main beach and the main road. All beds were super comfortable and more than enough cupboard space for everyone. The playroom for the kids was a hit. Thank you for having us, and we can’t wait for future holidays as we’ll definitely be back! 😊

Privacy, Views(river&sea) sunsets with Solar Power

Shirley was an absolutely amazing host- she went out of her way to help us on extremely short notice ! The house was without a doubt one of the best in Kasouga- fantastic views of the estuary and the sea and lovely deck to enjoy them from. Bedrooms were spacious and clean- two separate lounges provided lots of space. A lovely garden for kids to play in and a super well equipped kitchen! I would definitely stay here again!

What a view! The ocean serenades you to sleep. The home is literally perfect for 4 couples and some extra kids. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a view of the ocean. The sleepy town of Cannon Rock is a beautiful gem. Highly recommend.

beautiful house on the banks of the river. comfortable even for a big family. spacious ,with modern finishes. loved the canoeing kids loved the nearby beach approx 1.2km from the house as well. nearest good shop is in port alfred though we didn't need anything in our 3 days . time went so fast wish we could start it all again lol.

Sea La Vie - Life @ the beach!

Wow, Wow Wow , the view of the Bushman’s river and the sea from the lounge and open plan kitchen is breath taking. We took so many photos of the changing tides. We couldn’t believe that we saw 12 ships on the ocean in one hour. Seeing dolphins and a whale was also so special. The birdlife was great , especially seeing and hearing the Lilian’s lovebirds in the aloe tree by the deck. The fully equipped kitchen made our stay really lovely too and our braai’s on the deck were also so enjoyable. The house being in a cul da sac was ideal for the kids to be able to ride their bikes safely outside. The walk to the marina took only 10 minutes , where we spent a morning on the river. Merryhill feels so safe, quite and tranquil. Ashleigh, was amazing. So helpful , responsive and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. A beautiful BnB, will definitely recommend to our friends.

To Ann, what a nice, friendly and reliable host you are. The house is beautiful and it had everything we needed. The electrical blankets in every room was a major BONUS, they were exactly what we needed for the cold weather in June. To Marian, thank you so much for everything Mam… you were super gracious, warm and friendly. Will definitely be coming back with my family.

It's the perfect place for a most enjoyable family holiday! The peaceful setting right on the Kowie River bank provides for the most beautiful views, which are especially enjoyable whilst sipping on a G&T around a braai! Everything needed is right at your fingertips. We will be back soon!

Absolutely beautiful views and a very spacious & comfortable home. We hardly ever saw another person in the neighborhood but there was plenty of wildlife including 4 giraffe just off the master bedroom window. I would have been a nervous wreck if I had small children but mine are all older & they enjoyed the pool and the pool table. Everything was easy to find/operate and there wasn’t an exhaustive check out list which is always appreciated. Thank you to Thomas for sharing your home and to Regina for getting the keys checked in & out easily.

We had a wonderful time in a lovely place. Martin is an excellent host and Kenton is a diamond of a destination.
