Such am amazing host, very friendly and welcoming, both the host and husband. It was a pleasure staying over at their place. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect little weekend getaway for us to just unwind and spend some quality time away from the city with friends. Peaceful surroundings and a treat to be able to take our dogs with. They too had a blast.

We had a wonderful stay in Port Alfred and visited many of Samumi's recommendations. The place was clean and spacious and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend.

Thanks to the hosts that were very friendly and helpful! This is a place to destress and unwind, so good for the soul. We’ve never been to the Eastern Cape and we saw some beautiful little towns and lovely countryside. The unit was comfortable and lovely decorated. We will be back!

We enjoyed a peaceful stay. The property is very close to the beach so you can fall asleep with the sound of the ocean at night. We also enjoyed the games room with the pool table and foosball!

We had a great stay, despite the weather. Kids loved the river and we found it hard to get them out the water. We loved our evening braais on the stop too! Will definitely go back when we get a chance!

From check in, the host was very accommodating and understanding. The place was beyond beautiful, clean and very big with lots of games and other amenities to occupy time. It was not just the grand views but also the little things that made it truly special in my eyes, from the Lindt chocolates as a welcome, to the freedom of being home away from home. We had the most fantastic time at Selah-on-Sea. Tracy was a superb host and was super flexible and helpful with our requests. She also made sure to check in with us during our stay. The house is just as described and works perfectly for a bigger family on holiday. We felt right at home with its lovely and relaxed atmosphere. Well equipped kitchen, clean, spacious and a perfect location. We loved being able to walk to main beach and the main road. All beds were super comfortable and more than enough cupboard space for everyone. The playroom for the kids was a hit. Thank you for having us, and we can’t wait for future holidays as we’ll definitely be back! 😊

I had a wonderful stay at Garry’s house! The house is exactly as described, secure, fast internet and feels very homely! A 4min walk to the stunning beaches and the same to the shops, but still calm and quiet there. Would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Marks place in Parker Road. Very convenient between Bushman's and town with both being walkable. Mark was very friendly and accommodating.

A well equipped and nicely furnished house with good outdoor space too; a pretty garden and braai area with hot tub and balcony with great views. Modern appliances in the kitchen and we especially loved the ice maker! Close to the centre and easy walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Peaceful area but with permanent residents too and felt very safe. A very ‘usable’ house with plenty of space for six and more if you have friends over. Host Simon was responsive and helpful, caretaker Genevieve who lives just opposite was fabulous, so helpful and gave us peace of mind as foreigners that there was someone there to call on if in need. Kathleen the housekeeper and Masi the gardener were also lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
