Vacation rentals with lake access in Kenai Peninsula Borough

Kathy's is the ideal spot for folks who want to be close, but not too, to downtown for its activities and dining etc. We enjoyed at the end of the day, sitting on her deck and just watching the lake and mountains. Clean and well kept, the house is very livable. We'll certainly look to see if Kathy's is available when next we visit Anchorage.

We had an amazing time staying at this cabin in Homer, AK! It was absolutely perfect for us—quiet, cozy, and close to town but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle. The view of the mountains from the front porch was breathtaking, and we were even lucky enough to spot a moose in the neighborhood! The cabin itself was impeccably cared for, with everything feeling new and thoughtfully designed. Although we didn’t use the upstairs room, it would be perfect if you’re traveling with one or two kids. You can really tell that a lot of love and attention went into making this cabin a welcoming and comfortable retreat. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and scenic stay in Homer!

We are repeat guests and will continue to be. The location is perfect to grab dinner downtown, shop on the southside, medical appointments in midtown, and the airport. It is quiet, clean, and comfortable.

Chris' group was super easygoing and clean. We would love to have them back and highly recommend them to other Airbnb hosts.

Our family of 4 (2 teenage boys) stayed here for 2 nights. It’s a lovely home full of entertaining amenities. Very spacious with everything we needed and more. Our boys loved the loft area with its comfy seating and cozy reading nook. Lots of games, DVDs, etc. The hot tub and wood burning fire place were perfect after a long day of fishing. We’d definitely stay there again and highly recommend!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! It snowed and we got to see a moose and her baby (from safely within the cabin) we visited Captain Cook State Park, just minutes away, and walked along the beach, with a view of the mountains and got to see a few bald eagles! I would stay here again and would highly recommend. The cabin was fully stocked and made us feel right at home.

I’ve stayed here before and the experience is always great. There was a heating issue that Johanna responded to and made sure was in working order in a timely matter. I would stay here again as I have had a consistent experience that made this listing comfortable and enjoyable.

Amber is a great host! The house was clean and very comfortable for a group of 4. Amber went above and beyond even letting us use a personal cooler for our lunches during the day while fishing. A couple of our guys did complain about how uncomfortable a couple of the beds where. But they made it work. Overall a great experience and again Amber is an exceptional host! We will be back.

Great last minute spot that I booked. The view of the lake is beautiful and watching the planes take off and land. Only thing I didn’t account for was how loud these little planes are especially when they’re taking off at 6:30am. If you want to sleep in just keep that in mind. I would stay here again though.

My flights were delayed and we got in suoernlate. Brett was right there to help. 10 out of 10 would recommend. nice and comfy place. The hot tub topped it off. It was so nice to truly relax while watching the snow fall.

Mario was super easy to work with. I messed up my dates and asked to come in a night early when we landed in Anchorage. I was very relieved that he had availability to let us in a night early and responded very quickly. We also asked for a crib upon arrival and it arrived very quickly! The apartment was beautiful! It had all the amenities. We were very impressed by the amenities! The kitchen even had a crock pot so you won’t be wanting for any utensils or cook ware. Very great stay and easy to communicate with. Thank you for being such a great host!
