Vacation rentals with beach access in Kawela Bay

Great place to stay! Spacious, clean, and well stocked. Super close to Turtle Bay resort and a 15 minute drive to other beaches on the north shore. The Eddie Aikau surf competition was announced at Waimea Bay during our stay and we were only 12 minutes away! Host was super responsive and gave great tips for our trip.

A great hidden gem! The waves crashing onto the beach right outside our balcony. Everything we needed to recharge for the next days adventure. Phenomenal!!! Quiet and peacefully tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist. We hope it is available next time we visit Hawaii!

We love staying in Punalu’u. It’s the only way to visit Oahu IMO. You really can’t beat having a mostly secluded beach right at your doorstep and being away from the busyness of Honolulu. That alone is worth any punaluu rental. I’m sad to see the changes in HI, regarding STRs, mean no more nightly rentals here. Ju&kaash’s place was perfect. It was clean and they were great responsive hosts, willing to bring us more beach towels when requested. A few tips if you do stay here: turtles come ashore around 10 pm on the NW far end of the beach if you want to see a bunch. Don’t bother stopping at safeway for groceries before heading north from HNL (they didn’t even have pineapple or papaya). Tamura’s market in hau’ula is closer, better produce and prices just as good. Also mama Tina’s is a great produce stand less than 10 min away. Pretty sure prices are jacked up for tourists (par for the course) but super friendly there. We had a great time. Would recommend this airbnb to anyone.

Exactly what we needed. Loved exploring the North Shore and relaxing on the beach. Jillian's place worked well for us. All was as we expected, and we had all we needed.

We had an amazing time at Priscilla & Cino’s place. They were very responsive and accommodating. The condo is super comfortable and has everything you need. The area is amazing. There is so much to do. I highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Turtle Bay at Jennifer’s. The unit is one of the best equipped rentals we have experienced from the kitchen tools and staples to the beach items on the lanai including snorkeling gear, beach chairs and coolers. The unit is clean and just as pictured. Being there in January we appreciated being able to open the doors and allow the breeze to cool the unit. A huge plus is Jennifer’s communication and helpfulness. A great stay!

Geri and Ke’Alii were great and very communicative from the start! We had two families staying in the home & it worked out wonderfully for the family vacation The beautiful beach was walking distance, with a private walkway from the neighborhood. The beach had low tide and high tide, but very kid friendly. We had a toddler with us and the current was great for kids that age/size because the waves weren’t rough. You can see some fish with snorkel gear and you will see local children fishing there. Host even allowed my son to borrow sand toys. Beach towels provided at airbnb too! The home had all of the kitchen necessities and cook-ware. The host allowed us to use the charcoal bbq grill which was in pristine condition. Home is near a drug store and Papa Oles (great Hawaiian food, walking distance). We would stay here again! Thanks for your hospitality and quick response/communication Geri and Ke’Alii.

Look no further, this is the place you want to be at! I can’t say enough good things about Vijay, his home, and the location. He is very generous with amenities and his time. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. We instantly felt right at home. The pictures of the home are accurate, and more spacious than I imagined. The beds were comfy and my family of five adults slept very well with room to spare. This home is kid friendly as well. We were greeted every morning with a gorgeous sunrise peeking over the oceans edge that you can see through the front windows or take a few steps to the quiet beach for a breathtaking view. One of our favorite things was having so much beach to ourselves. You have convenient access to the main highway that takes you around the island. All island activities are easily accessible from this location, so though it’s away from the hustle and bustle, you can easily get out for activities all over the island, then come back to rest and relax.

The place was very beautiful and quite. Host responded fast to needs. No complaints about the home. The only thi g if you want more tourists attractive we had to travel a hour everywhere. Im from a big city so it was no issue or problem for. It was nice to wake up and see the sun over the mountains and nice and peaceful. Great if you have kids/teenagers. The place had all the beach needs towel, bags, toys and cooler. Equipment with washer and dryer which was great for week stays. Would definitely recommend hand down!

The location can not be beat. On the other side of the island from Waikiki which is perfect for some peace and quiet. Beach near the house is great for snorkeling as well as not crowded at all. Host was great leaving very clear instructions as well as a nice welcome basket with local treats. Will definitely be returning to this house if we come back to Oahu. This was a great stay in Oahu! It had everything we needed, very close to a beautiful beach and awesome places to eat, and a private neighborhood. I really appreciated the kids toys and books for my daughters to use while we were there!

This house is a true gem. Absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and quiet and the neighbors very friendly. The gardens outside are lush and every bit a reflection of a tropical paradise. This house is removed from the rest of the island but we preferred it and enjoyed the drive around the island and the views of the gorgeous beaches. There were 10 of us and between beds, couch beds and the available air mattresses we slept comfortably. The kitchen was wonderful and had the essentials. We were able to shop at local stores for everything else we used through the week. The bedrooms & bathrooms were just as lovely as the pictures and the linens were clean. Our kids enjoyed the arcade/ game too immensely and the addition of the hot tub was perfect. Sunrise over the mountains and sunsets over the ocean were the icing on the cake. Helena's condo is wonderful. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We didn't have little kids, but it would be great with small children too. On the golf course, but a casual one. Very short walk to horse riding and beaches and trails. Condo is Sparkling and clean, well appointed, great location. Helena is a responsive host. We spent three nights on the North Shore. Enjoyed snorkeling in Turtle (great fish and pretty nice coral) and Kawela Bay (lots of turtles). Played Pickle Ball in the community. Ate at Roy's Beach House. Watched Backdoor Shootout Surf competitions at Pipeline with huge January waves. Would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed staying here! Would absolutely stay again! Everything was very clean and comfortable. Ceci helped me find another condo just downstairs for my sister - we wanted to stay close to each other. This was perfect! Great location for exploring the Norrh Shore. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we enjoyed the nice screened in lanai! The two beds in the loft were perfect for our teenagers. Thanks for a great stay!

Kelsey’s place was exactly what we were looking for. The location is peaceful and gorgeous. Get away from the crowded beaches of Waikiki and go find one where you can be the only ones on the sand! With several great restaurants, beaches, and hikes within walking distance or a short drive, you can’t go wrong staying here. The accommodations were exactly as described and Kelsey was very responsive and helpful. I will be recommending this place to anyone headed to the North Shore.

Catherine was a great host and highly recommend her place. The location was perfect to explore the north shore area. If you’re into golf, the condo was an easy five minute walk to the turtle creek club house.

We had a great stay at the condo. The boys especially appreciated being so close to the pool. They had a great time!

As a family of four the condo was the perfect size. Very clean and up to date. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Check in was easy and it was walkable to Turtle Bay Resort and the beach. We had a great time exploring North Shore from this cute and comfortable property. Definitely recommend!

It’s a great place to stay for a week. Away from the city and very nice and quiet. There are some hidden gems around the area if you know where to look. The main bedroom was very spacious and the secondary bedroom was a little small but no issues there. The area is situated right on a golf course and has a nice little track area for running. There’s lots of amenities provided for the beach, I feel lots of people bring and leave stuff just like we did. I really appreciated the quick and friendly communication between the host Nathan. I hope to stay again in the future. Thank you!
