There is a large hall, multiple toilets, and a slightly larger bathroom and shower room, perfect for large groups.It was also great to have a nice coffee shop and other restaurants and hot springs where you can see the sea of clouds in the early morning, such as Migahara and Takabuchi.It is also nice to see the stars very beautiful at night.However, if you are thinking of a BBQ, it would be better for you to be careful that there is no roof and that you use gas, and that there is a separate fee.The kitchen is simple and not suitable for large groups, but it was a bar counter and had a very nice atmosphere.There was also a barrel sauna outside that was free to use.Overall, I think it was a nice place to stay with a very strong edge on the facilities and location.We'd love to stay again if we get the chance.

Pleasant stay! Very helpful and responsive host. We had to arrange for taxis but had some difficulties and they were able to help us. Communication wise was not problem with the help of google translate. Will recommend to my friends.

A rural retreat, off the tourist path, but easily accessible by train from Tokyo. We were keen for some rural Japan after quite a few stops in urban centres. The house is in a quiet, unspoilt setting. You can do short walks from the house that can include views of Mount Fuji down the valley. There's other places you can pop into too, such as the Owl Cafe or the wonderful deli/shop at the petrol station up the road. The house itself has kept its rustic and traditional appearance and features, while also having very functional equipment, from Wifi to everything you'd need for cooking. Some great places to read and relax in, from the garden to by the wood burner. We did not have car which was fine - it's just 6 minutes by taxi from the station, but a car would allow you to explore further afield. Ryo the host was very helpful with answering questions rapidly and clearly. I would highly recommend!

Our family had a lovely stay at the cottage. The host was friendly and easy to deal with. We appreciated the local recommendations they shared before our trip. The place was spotless clean and had more than adequate amenities. Location is a little further out but with a car to get around there’s no issue. Would recommend!

Kieta was such an amazing host. Super helpful and friendly. And the home his beautiful and well setup. The view is A+++. I was sick when I arrived and Keita risked taking me to the hospital which turns out I had the flu, which he ended up with the flu too! I also left something in the apartment when I left, and Keita quickly drive down to the train station to catch me to give it to me. A SUPER HOST he is!

We had a wonderful time there. For parents and two boys (15 and 10), this house was just about right. It was stylish, spacious and clean, Surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere. We could relax after long hours of skiing. Local supermarket Tsuruya was within 10 minute drive, which is an additional advantage.

It was a very quiet and beautiful place in a villa in the forest at the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake. The room was very beautiful, fully equipped with cooking utensils, and we had a comfortable stay. I would love to use it again if I have the chance!

My family enjoyed our stay here. It would have been even better if there were blackout curtains in the master bedroom and if the excess items behind the counter were tidied up. Overall, we loved it and will definitely come back!
