There is a large hall, multiple toilets, and a slightly larger bathroom and shower room, perfect for large groups.It was also great to have a nice coffee shop and other restaurants and hot springs where you can see the sea of clouds in the early morning, such as Migahara and Takabuchi.It is also nice to see the stars very beautiful at night.However, if you are thinking of a BBQ, it would be better for you to be careful that there is no roof and that you use gas, and that there is a separate fee.The kitchen is simple and not suitable for large groups, but it was a bar counter and had a very nice atmosphere.There was also a barrel sauna outside that was free to use.Overall, I think it was a nice place to stay with a very strong edge on the facilities and location.We'd love to stay again if we get the chance.

Amazing B&B!The place is far away, there are a lot of stars💫 homestay clean and comfortable and warm at night, we spent a pleasant and welcoming time here, the owner was kind and instantly responded to our questions, hoping to have the opportunity to come and experience a different scenery in another season💕

We discussed the use of the mandatory wood stove on the day of booking in advance, but they responded immediately.In the end, I couldn't use the wood stove, but he said that I would not charge for that amount.In addition, they said that it was free of charge for the damage to the cooking utensils, and we took great care of us.It was neat and tidy, the sauna was good, and it was comfortable.Thank you very much.

We had a pleasant time in a beautiful room and facilities! The BBQ set is a gas type stove that doesn't need to be charcoal, and everyone can easily prepare the BBQ. There was a little glitch when I checked in, but they handled it quickly and politely!

Pleasant stay! Very helpful and responsive host. We had to arrange for taxis but had some difficulties and they were able to help us. Communication wise was not problem with the help of google translate. Will recommend to my friends.

A rural retreat, off the tourist path, but easily accessible by train from Tokyo. We were keen for some rural Japan after quite a few stops in urban centres. The house is in a quiet, unspoilt setting. You can do short walks from the house that can include views of Mount Fuji down the valley. There's other places you can pop into too, such as the Owl Cafe or the wonderful deli/shop at the petrol station up the road. The house itself has kept its rustic and traditional appearance and features, while also having very functional equipment, from Wifi to everything you'd need for cooking. Some great places to read and relax in, from the garden to by the wood burner. We did not have car which was fine - it's just 6 minutes by taxi from the station, but a car would allow you to explore further afield. Ryo the host was very helpful with answering questions rapidly and clearly. I would highly recommend!

The accommodation has on-site parking and is convenient.The kitchen can cook something simple and there is also a washing machine for travelers who stay continuously.Unfortunately we are only in Karuizawa for a day.

The facilities were clean and fully equipped, and it was wonderful. There was little signal from Wai Mobile (SoftBank), so it would be great if you could turn on the wifi.

Best stay in Japan so far!! The place provides everything we need. Would come back again next time

In the extreme heat of the Kanto Plain area above 35 degrees Celsius, there is no need for air conditioning.I was refreshed in a quiet setting surrounded by trees.The king size bed was also very comfortable.Thank you for your kindness!

Our stay at the Kura House was great. It's located in a peaceful quiet neighborhood and the garden at the house is beautiful. Kaz gave great suggestions on places nearby to eat and suggested for us to sit on the right side of the Shinkansen to see Mt Fuji! Great place to stay when visiting Tokyo.

Really nice house in a lovely peaceful area, with views of the mountains. It’s a bit of a walk uphill at first if you’re carrying luggage, but it’s perfectly reachable on foot. We loved it!
