Thank you so much Gabi & Jim for an absolutely incredible stay at Saltbush. We were blown away by the true beauty of the architecture, design and styling of this stunning haven. Every room was super clean and comfortable, the kitchen stocked with lovely eco cleaning products, as well as any type of dish or utensil you could think of. Gabi has thought of every special detail to ensure a comfortable stay - indoor and outdoor games, fabulous coffee machine, beautiful glassware, and THAT POOL! We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our next trip back to Saltbush. The view of the coast and KI is just stunning, and the wildlife in the area just so special. Cannot recommend this stay any more!

The large house suited 4 adults and 3 young children very well, close to all the village facilities and ferry. Geoff was immediately responsive to any minor concerns we had, so our few days there went very well. The village also has a RAA charging station which was valuable for the EV we took over.

Absolutely stunning location. The house was a little dated and in need of some repair (still comfortable), however the location and views are incredible. Julie was very thorough in her suggestions for things to see and do. Her communication was excellent.

A property and host that delivered everything and more. The location is fantastic, Rachel can not be more helpful and went over and above to ensure my wife had a great birthday. We can not say Thankyou enough. Kangaroo Island was a fantastic few days away if nature, sightseeing, food and wine, gin & beer. Only hard part was leaving.

Perfect holiday home in a spectacular setting. The house had everything we could have wanted for a great holiday. It is well set up, there were useful supplies in the pantry, beach towels, coffee pods and pots etc etc. we enjoyed the deck to watch for sea eagles or dolphins over a coffee or a meal and the internal layout gave plenty of space and separation for us as two couples staying there the house is in the outskirts of Penneshaw so not walking distance but a very short drive. Leanne and Mark were very responsive to any queries we had. We would absolutely stay there again.

We had a really wonderful stay. Sue was incredibly helpful and accomodating. The house was beautifully presented. Plenty of inclusions, that made our stay really comfortable. The location right on the beach front was lovely. I enjoyed looking out from the large front deck every morning. We were sad to be leaving, but will endeavour to return one day.

We had a lovely time in Cape Jervis. The house, location and view are great. It is the ideal location for a day trip to Kangaroo Island, the ferry terminal is only minutes away so that it is easy to catch the earliest and latest ferries of the day. One thing to remember is that Cape Jervis itself is only a small village and Victor Harbor where all the restaurants and tourism offers are, is about 45 minutes-drive away. The absolute highlight are the kangaroos assembling across the road in the early morning and evening.

Amazing stay, super quiet house in the middle of a farm, yet with modern amenities. Great for families with books and toys available for our two young kids. Tons of space, and the kids were very excited to watch the farm animals graze. The welcome gift of fresh bread and wine was an awesome touch. Nighttime stargazing was incredible as there's not another light for miles (as long as you don't trigger the driveway motion-sensing floodlight 🙂) Weather was good while we were there so the A/C only being in the master bedroom wasn't an issue; opening the front and back doors got a healthy breeze through the whole house. It did get a bit chilly overnight but the two space heaters provided did a good job for us (not sure what happens if you're using all four bedrooms, though). Note that we did see quite a few ants in the house, so you need to clean up well after each meal. But you should probably expect some bugs in a house of this age as the sealing won't be perfect.

Words cannot adequately explain how fantastic this place is. The house itself is amazing with everything one could want in a holiday house. The internal decor is amazing but the real hero of this place is the amazing views. If a relaxing/peaceful holiday is something that appeals then look no further than this place. We travelled to KI as a family with 2 young children and they loved exploring the property and fell in love with the wild kangaroos that also call this place home. One kangaroo that we lovingly nicknamed 'spot' is so friendly it will eat from your hands. Sue was very accommodating and allowed us to seamlessly enjoy our holiday. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to holiday in Kangaroo Island.

We had a wonderful vacation. Such a natural beautiful location, amazing views and wildlife. Highlight was penguin finding at night along the beach. It was just the break we needed from our hectic lifestyles. The holiday home was fantastic, everything we needed was there and it was extremely clean and felt like you were in your own home. Herb and Janette were fantastic, great communication and friendly. Made our holiday very memorable. We look forward to visiting and staying at Emu Bay again.

Wow! This place is breathtaking. The views are gorgeous, the kitchen has every application you may need for cooking (and foil to take out sandwiches!) and the beds are so comfortable. Perfect for families with bedrooms on either side of the house - we went away with my parents and the space was perfect. Thank you so much, we had the best holiday.

I cannot say enough about this home! Rachel was a wonderful host and so generously provided water and other food/drinks to welcome us and start us off. The place was super clean. The bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out at the water, walking to restaurants and shops and felt very comfortable and at home. I would definitely recommend this home for a rental in Kingscote.

Stunning place in the heart of Penneshaw. Short drive from the ferry, walking distance to the pub, supermarket & local cafes. Tourist office right across the road. It was so clean & tidy, every thing was available for a wonderful stay. BBQ on the deck overlooking the beautiful water, was our favorite pastime. Ellie was super helpful with our check out & we loved our stay here.

We found Kirsty’s place ideal for our family holiday. Kids all slept well and really enjoyed the tv in their bedroom along with the games and books that were provided. It was very quiet and peaceful and we felt like it was a home away from home. We would recommend this place to anyone staying in Kingscote, especially families.

Rachel's apartment was ideal for us. Great view, clean, everything close and easily accessible. Parking in front of the house. Rachel gave us great tips for excursions and her friend at the agency organized the ferry for us and we got exactly the transfer times we wanted. We can highly recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to travel to Kangaroo Island. It hardly gets any better than this.

The accomodation’s location is a great place to stay with little ones. The house is near island beach which I would say best beach for kids. My boys are able to play in the beach safely. The beach in front of the accomodation feels so private. Moreover, I would like to say a big thanks to Celestina! We had an emergency during our stay and she responded to our call immediately. She rescued us in the middle of the road on Christmas day to ensure we are safe. She looked after us and made sure we are settled before leaving us for her very late christmas lunch. I couldn’t thank her enough and my family is very grateful to her.

Our family of six adults and two children had a wonderful week in Copperstone in early December 2024. The house is modern, clean and comfortable and has air conditioning, which is needed, especially in the warmer months. The kitchen is well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. We were privileged to experience Kangaroos in the front garden and Koalas in the back garden. As there are no places to purchase provisions in Emu Bay, we would have appreciated a welcome package/gift to include the basic necessities including bread, cereal etc. The nearest supermarket is Drakes in Kingscote, where you can purchase general groceries, meat, poultry, fruit and vegetables. There is a well-stocked bottle-shop in the next street. These facilities are approximately 15 minutes by car (4 wheel recommended) from the house. I recommend this property which overlooks beautiful Emu Bay and is well located. We left feeling that we all had a unique experience and were rejuvenated.
