We had an absolutely fantastic stay! Sam was amazing and incredibly friendly, providing us with all the detailed information we needed. The place was fully equipped with everything we could ask for, and the location was spot on. They were also very welcoming to our dog, which made our stay even better. Our entire family left with wonderful memories. Highly recommend!

We had a fabulous stay at the Cape House. Waking up to that view each morning was stunning and seeing dolphins swim by several times a day was incredible. The kids spent hours each day exploring the essentially private beach and collecting gorgeous sea treasures. Nicole was extremely responsive and when there was an issue with the water she had it resolved immediately. Would definitely stay here again.

The old school house is a tremendous place to stay. We had 5 amazing days with that stunning view of Emu Bay. Tons of space, great yard for our dog, super stocked kitchen , comfy beds, would happily stay again. Communication was outstanding also!

My husand and i stayed here for 6 days and ended up eloping at the accommodation site! It is truly beautiful and there are plently of fish to catch at the beach. Our location host tony was truly amazing and went above and beyond to make the trip unforgettable! We plan to make this our anniverasy spot! 10/10 the place is perfect for two looking to imerse themseves in the island with almost panoramic views from the bed and an almost private beach, this is your spot!

Plenty of space in this house - large bedrooms and tv in main room. Missed not having electric blankets or a dishwasher but the house stay warm enough with the heater in the ceiling of the main room. Interesting how both the main bathroom and ensuite were at the same end of the house. A secure backyard if we had taken our dogs with us. No beach view but lovely to see/hear a variety of birds.

We had 6 days here on Kangaroo Island and it was a great base. The house itself is well setup and has a great covered balcony with dining table and decent Weber Q BBQ. It is convenient to Kingscote which has a well stoked Drakes (supermarket) but nicely out of town so it is quiet and peaceful and had amazing night sky views when there was no cloud. Air conditioning unit upstairs was nice to cool the upstairs down and get out of the heat! It is very close to the beach but note it is not a good swimming beach - it is extremely shallow and very muddy; best at low tide but still not ideal! However there is a tidal pool in Kingscote 3-4mins drive down the road, or 20-25mins walk for those wanting to swim or cool down! We had a great stay, thanks.

This is a fabulous home! It was the perfect place for our extended family to gather allowing generous communal spaces alongside quiet, comfortable bedrooms and multiple balconies with gorgeous views. The beach access is wonderful. It’s a very special property.

Absolutely loved our stay at Ratcliffe Cottage in Pelican Lagoon! The location is perfect for a peaceful getaway, surrounded by beautiful nature. The cottage itself is cozy, beautifully decorated, and has everything you could need. The highlight was definitely the kangaroos that came to visit the front and backyard —such a magical experience to see them up close! It felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle, and we couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and welcoming retreat. The host Kate was super lovely and helpful too! Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature at its finest!

Wallaby Beach House is the most delightful holiday house. My teens and I were very comfortable perched in the bush, looking out over the sea or watching the birds visit the water bowls on the verandah. We collected shells on the little beach, saw a dolphin in the shallows, easily hopped to American River one day and Penneshaw & Antechamber Bay the next, and enjoyed a relaxing end to the school hols. WBH is perfectly set up for visitors but felt like home. Thanks, Hugh, for letting us loan this slice of paradise for 3 nights.

What a great 3 night/4day visit we had! Lovely location directly across from the water.....our kids spent many hours exploring. Big bonus with 4 koalas in the back yard! Accomodation had plenty of room for 4 adults & 2 kids, was well laid out, very well provided with amenities and spotlessly clean. Very close to the main KI road network & only 15 minutes from Kingscote facilities. Highly recommended, & will stay again next time we visit.

Lovely peaceful setting - we love birds and so filled the bird bath daily and watched the array of birds come - view to the beach changed daily with schooling salmon, dolphins and seals. Water was a lovely temperature for swimming.

We recently had our family stay at this grand place and we were not disappointed in any way. The place is very well catered for families of all ages and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Would not hesitate recommending this fabulous property and will keep this on our list to return to in the future.

Our stay here was nothing short of outstanding. Ourselves and all of guest that were there to enjoy my husband turning 40 were blown away by the location, the house, the views, the facilities.. it was clean and comfortable. The plunge pool was gorgeous and our host Gabi & Jim nothing short of responsive and friendly. Highly recommend, worth every cent!
