We loved our stay at Sam’s place. Island Beach is absolutely stunning, so peaceful and quiet and private, but close enough to Penneshaw and activities to keep us amused. Authenticity Beachhouse was so well situated, with great sea views, and had heaps of space and amenities perfect for our family of four…with an extra room to spare. Sam has thought of everything, and we loved all of the little extras he provided that helped make our holiday more fun - boogie boards, snorkel equipment, beach chairs and tent, lots of outdoor and indoor seating, plus the Hamptons style decor was so lovely. Thanks for a really lovely stay Sam. Our kids have already asked when we are coming back to visit again!

A lovely stay in a homely and comfortable accommodation. The fresh bread and condiments was a lovely touch. Even met a courageous echidna. A terrific place to base yourselves for island exploration. Thank you Christine!

Lots of the previous reviews speak about the very pleasant accomodation and the outstanding cliff-top views - which we fully endorse too. It's just great! What we'd like to add (it was important for us) is the tranquility of the place, with nothing to disturb the absolute sense of peace, quiet and privacy - other than the local birdlife! We stayed at Sabine's Place over Christmas with my elderly Dad. The place was perfect for a relaxed summer break with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxing and eating. The house is an old bungalow all on one level so perfect for an elderly person. It was spotlessly clean and well located with a great walk into Kingscote.

Great location and charming interior. Plenty of space with everything you need. Emu bay is a beautiful area and has a lovely little cafe and playground at the beach. It’s a great place for families. We enjoyed several koalas in front, as well as echinea and kangaroos around the house. We also appreciated the local welcome goodies. The very nice neighbour next door even let us taste his yummy homegrown tomatoes. It was such a lovely stay and we would book this property again.

My husand and i stayed here for 6 days and ended up eloping at the accommodation site! It is truly beautiful and there are plently of fish to catch at the beach. Our location host tony was truly amazing and went above and beyond to make the trip unforgettable! We plan to make this our anniverasy spot! 10/10 the place is perfect for two looking to imerse themseves in the island with almost panoramic views from the bed and an almost private beach, this is your spot!

Plenty of space in this house - large bedrooms and tv in main room. Missed not having electric blankets or a dishwasher but the house stay warm enough with the heater in the ceiling of the main room. Interesting how both the main bathroom and ensuite were at the same end of the house. A secure backyard if we had taken our dogs with us. No beach view but lovely to see/hear a variety of birds.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Azzurra with its beautiful views and well appointed accommodation. The house is very well equipped and has everything needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay with added touches which afford a home from home experience. Liz was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help us with Ferry bookings. Would highly recommend.

Magical end of the earth location. Brand new home, very well stocked and well set up for cooking and bar-b-que. Loved seeing the wallabies at the food bowl at sunset. Had the special treat of a koala stopping by! Stunning sunrises. Warren is excellent communicator with great recommendations. Looking forward to returning some day!

Eva's place was nice and modern. The selection of amenities was nice and the location is very convenient to walk around the town of Kingscote.

The guys enjoyed their stay here... the placed is as described although I believe the view was understated - amazing was the word used. Thanks you so much!

LOVED our stay at Jo’s place. It has such a beautiful view over the Penneshaw coastline, and we saw dolphins playing out the front of the house every day. The decor is beautiful, and the house is very well equipped. Thanks Jo!

Our experience at Shylies was outstanding, and we are already looking forward to our next visit, which is a reflection of the high quality of the accommodation. Located in close proximity to the ferry port, the property is easily accessible, and upon arrival, we were impressed by the peaceful and secluded surroundings. The accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way, and we particularly enjoyed relaxing on the deck with a bottle of wine, observing the local wildlife, and even spotting a few kangaroos. The property is exceptionally well-appointed and maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the bed linen was of exceptional quality. A highlight of our stay was the stunning private beach, accessible via a short walk from the property, which we enjoyed visiting every evening. We would like to thank Kate and Andy for accommodating us at short notice, and we look forward to returning soon.

Had an amazing experience at Hanson Bay Lodge. We had a great time exploring this half of the island and the lodge created an incredible blend of wildness and comfort. It was a clean, warm and tasteful. Swims in Hanson Bays pristine water were a highlight.

Our family loved staying at Kevin's house. Everything went to plan and Kevin was super responsive with any of our questions.

Thank you so much Gabi & Jim for an absolutely incredible stay at Saltbush. We were blown away by the true beauty of the architecture, design and styling of this stunning haven. Every room was super clean and comfortable, the kitchen stocked with lovely eco cleaning products, as well as any type of dish or utensil you could think of. Gabi has thought of every special detail to ensure a comfortable stay - indoor and outdoor games, fabulous coffee machine, beautiful glassware, and THAT POOL! We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our next trip back to Saltbush. The view of the coast and KI is just stunning, and the wildlife in the area just so special. Cannot recommend this stay any more!

Absolutely perfect place to stay, everything was so cozy and tidy.All very well equipped.

This property is in a fabulous location. The view is beautiful and surroundings very peaceful. We had lovely walks along the beach and swimming everyday. You can relax on the deck and hear the water lapping at the shoreline. Perfect downtime location, but still close enough to Penneshaw and some wineries for an afternoon out. Highly recommend The Deck for a peaceful break away.

Our family of six adults and two children had a wonderful week in Copperstone in early December 2024. The house is modern, clean and comfortable and has air conditioning, which is needed, especially in the warmer months. The kitchen is well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. We were privileged to experience Kangaroos in the front garden and Koalas in the back garden. As there are no places to purchase provisions in Emu Bay, we would have appreciated a welcome package/gift to include the basic necessities including bread, cereal etc. The nearest supermarket is Drakes in Kingscote, where you can purchase general groceries, meat, poultry, fruit and vegetables. There is a well-stocked bottle-shop in the next street. These facilities are approximately 15 minutes by car (4 wheel recommended) from the house. I recommend this property which overlooks beautiful Emu Bay and is well located. We left feeling that we all had a unique experience and were rejuvenated.
