Fantastic stay, beautiful, clean well equipped apartment.

How to start. During our short 3 day stay, we did feel immediately welcome. Artemis and her Husband are the perfect hosts. So kind and welcoming, you do not want to leave anymore. There was a bottle of white wine and some home backed cake for in our room. Our flat, as well as the other rooms to rent, face the beautiful see. You could just sit on the balcony for hours and look out in silence. So calming and relaxing. The road behind the property is not disturbing as you’re not facing it and as the sound of the beautiful sound of the sea is dominating. We stayed there at the end of October and enjoyed that the region is not busy anymore. You can walk along the empty beaches close by. This was our best stay on Crete so far. Thank you so much. You’re doing an amazing job and we feel, that you do it with heart and soul. ❤️❤️❤️

Great location, easy walking distance to shops, markets, restaurants and harbour. Very efficient and clear instructions from hosts - including help with booking a taxi from the airport.

We had a great stay! The appartment is small, but has everything you need. We received great recommendations from Maria and loved the pastries from Costa's bakery! Some restaurants, a supermarket and the beach are in walking distance. If you have a rental, it's easy to find a parkingspot close to the appartment.

Beautiful views, quiet, everything within walking distance, decorated with attention to detail. Very sweet hosts: nice honey, jam, cheese, butter and eggs, pomegranate, coffee, tea, drink, good tips for resto, bar, beach,...Fantastic terrace and separate patio at entrance. Recommended!

This place was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and completely at home. The garden is stunning—a perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee while taking in the beautiful view and peaceful atmosphere. It was the ideal start to each day. The apartment is decorated with so much care, including handmade elements by Takis that bring the beauty of nature inside. Also notable is the well equipped kitchen, making cooking very easy. The surroundings offer so much to explore that we wished we could have stayed longer! Tina also gave us fantastic tips for excursions, which made our trip even more memorable. Thank you, Tina, for an amazing stay—we hope to return someday!

Yorgo's place has very good location: is close 5-7 min to the beach, very close to Backarei, several supermarket, good taverna. This is not directly in Retimno, but very well accessible in 10 minutes by bus or 2 km with a nice walk along the promenade along the beach promenade with many restaurants. The apartment itself is spacious and well equipped(larger fridge, stove, dishwashing and washing machine,mosquito net in every window, air conditioning). This includes a balcony where you could sit in the evening and a small pool with lots of water toys. Yourgos and his daughter are also very nice people. Yourgos always responds quickly, gives good tips and even ended up giving us traditional Greek sweets. Thank you. We can recommend Yougos Appartament.

Very nice apartment in a nice and quiet location with easy access to the highways in order to explore the beautiful Crete. The host was very helpful, providing recommendations and casually checking in and meeting our needs. Highly recommended!

Vasilis’s house is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a very clean and organized home, close to the airport and also close to the center of Heraklion. Private and extremely accessible, I definitely recommend it!

The place was all it said it was chistos brother was our host and he was exceptionally helpful we were given free coffee and water every day and any problems we had were soon rectified. One downside is that you have to walk downhill into town which means an uphill walk home im 73 and i managed would go back again if ever over south of island. Could do with escalator for homeward journey Jack from Southport UK.

Peaceful, comfortable place to stay, in a lovely setting. Evangelia was welcoming and responsive and helpful. I loved sitting out on the balcony listening to the birds and cicadas

My husband and myself had stayed a week in September 2024 in Chrysa’s apartment. We absolutely recommend it, it was a true five star experience. The apartment is beautiful, well furnished (not only standard IKEA-like funuture) it has absolutely everything in it. It is comfortable, large, bright and in a nice and walkable position for Rethymno (about 15 minutes to the city center and the main beach). Also, it was spotless clean. We really enjoyed the terrace. Chrysa gave us some good hints for restaurants and bars. Also, she was extremely helpful when I unfortunately had some health problems and needed an ambulance. If there were six stars, I would give 6 stars to Chrysa as a host.

When we arrived at the apartment, we were greeted by Katerinas father who showed us everything in the apartment and the surrounding with the whirlpool and the garden. This was already a fantastic beginning. In the apartment we were greeted by a homemade frittata and tons of fresh fruit. We had trouble to do eat all of this. The provided ground coffee and all the other things in the fridge including a bottle of wine and Raki was making us smile and feel like at home. Even in the washing machine there were some washing pods provided. Wow! We had a really good time and we got a lot of good support from Katerina and her family (super sweet). We liked that we were allowed to separate the waste for recycling, we do the same at home and this is needed everywhere in the world. The apartment was more than spacious enough for us two and the outside sitting possibilities were used a lot for our breakfasts.

Comfortable, clean, modern, well-furnished apartment in great location (very walkable and outside the busy center). Free parking is on the street and we were lucky to find it every day, but this might vary in busy seasons. Terrace and pool were fantastic for relaxing at home. Note, the spa/mini pool can be warmed, but will not reach a typical "hot tub" temperature. Responsive, friendly host. Only hiccup was that the apartment was scheduled to be cleaned half way through our stay, but no one ever appeared. Not a problem for us, but we should have been notified. Overall, wonderful experience and would definitely stay again.

We had the pleasure of staying one night in this corner of paradise and it was wonderful. Kostas is super, he has given us all the instructions to enter already from the moment of booking and has always been within reach by phone for any information or assistance, with response times of seconds! In other words, the place is wonderful to unwind and relax surrounded by nature and comfort. Perfect cleanliness, we felt at home and returned regenerated. Next time we'll have more days! We spent our anniversary in this private place, and it was a fantastic experience! Dimitrious was phenomenal-very responsive and provided all the information we needed for a smooth arrival. His helpful tips on restaurants around were fantastics. The place itself was cozy, beautifully-designed, and very clean. It was really nice to be able to enjoy a private heated pool.

I was very pleased that the host greeted me personally at the entrance to the town and showed me the apartment and explained everything in detail. The apartment is beautiful, very clean, had all the amenities (as in the photos), the kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is very beautiful and clean, the bedding is fresh and fragrant, as are the towels. Very comfortable beds and cozy bedrooms. And of course the hot tube where you can relax and unwind in the evening. Nearby there is a small shop and a pastry shop and taverns with very good food. I highly recommend this apartment and the hosts. An ideal place to visit both the north and the south of the island.
