Junei's place is located in a quiet area, 5 minutes by car from the center of Matsushima. The train drops off any guests just in front of the house but is not a source of inconvenience at all once installed in the accommodation. The house is of exceptional quality: beautiful, clean, very well equipped and so quiet! The parking space is there but it is separated from the house just a few steps away. Junei is a hotel that relies on: it provides accurate and detailed information upon arrival and departure of the accommodation. A great experience!

We were not going to make it to the accommodation until later in the evening. We let the host know and they were very responsive and understanding. Given the directions from the host and using Google maps, it was very easy to find even in the dark. The house was very clean and seemed to be recently updated. Western toilet and in ground bathtub were a plus. We didn't stay long but we definitely enjoyed it!

The apartment is very closed to bus stop to Sendai station and the bus only takes less than 25 mins traveling time. Walking to restaurants and subway is not too far away, around 15 - 17 mins. Takashi also provides parking so it is very convenient to most travellers. I will definitely going back in my future trips.

Had a wonderful stay! Thank you for letting me stay in this lovely villa for two nights. The space was very comfortable, clean, and fully equipped, and I had a relaxing stay. A group of 5 of us had a lovely couple of nights staying here. Wish we could’ve stayed longer as it had everything we needed, was very spacious, clean, and in a good location being a short walk from a train station and a Lawson mart. It was great being close to the park filled with cherry blossoms during the season and a food market. Ayu was a lovely host and will be happy to accommodate your needs. We were able to drop our bags off before check-in which was very helpful.

Enjoyed our stay at Dai’s place. Dai cooked us a full course meal, told us local folklore story and guided us up a local mountain for pristine views. We also really enjoyed sitting in the kotatsu. Would recommend for a unique and authentic local experience.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this house! The location is simply amazing – calm, relaxing, and surrounded by breathtaking nature that made every moment feel peaceful and serene. It was the perfect getaway for my husband and me to enjoy the holidays in tranquility. The host was wonderful – always supportive and quick to help when we needed assistance, yet perfectly unobtrusive when we didn’t. It truly felt like we had the space to fully unwind. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. We hope to return someday!

Location is great; near lots of Onsen and bus station. Hosts were amazingly helpful with everything, and always willing to go the extra mile (for example my son was sick and rather than tell us where the pharmacy was, they rang to take us there, walked us to the place and spoke to the pharmacist) They were also great at helping us navigate the area and giving recommendations about how to arrange our trip. They were friendly and caring. Would really recommend staying here.

Chisato is a great host that goes out of his way to be helpful. He picked me up from the station and dropped me off again when I needed to leave for my next destination. He also makes a simple breakfast for you which was very delicious. Finally, he also speaks quite a bit of english so don't be afraid if you don't speak japanese. I had a lot of fun conversing with him. The room itself is very nice and there's an onsen and a conveyor belt sushi place nearby.

Great place and view, enjoyed getting out of the city center and into the hills. There was a bus that went from Sendai station to a stop near the place, and it's an enjoyable walk to the Zoo train station.
