Family-friendly vacation rentals in Kamaole Beach Park I

10 out of 10. Jo and De’s place was perfect for our family. It really is a 2nd home with everything we could have needed - from cookware to beach gear. Communication was great from the moment we booked. The condo was arranged perfectly for our family of 4 in advance of our arrival. Jo and De provided excellent recommendations both in the listing and on the fly as well. Charlie Young beach is literally across the street. Kihei is such a central location to everything else on the island, too. The complex is quiet and has a lovely pool/grilling area that we used several times. Will definitely be recommending Joe and De’s place to our friends and family.

The location was good for us with easy access to the beach and other island sites. House is well stocked with kitchen accessories, beach going toys, towels, chairs, boogie boards, etc. Owners were responsive and communicated well. House was spacious and met our needs.

It was a great stay! Had a small panic moment when we couldn’t get in, but after we could not get ahold of the point of contact, I emailed Joe and he was very fast at responding and followed up even the next day! Great host! Minor issues of the place with light bulb out and door handle falling off happens in any house and was fixed the next day by our point of contact. They were awesome! We all loved the space and made great memories. If you want to see turtles, this is the place! If you want the sunset, this is it! If you want the ocean and its sound and view, this is it. If you want a central location, this is it! Overall, I would highly recommend the area and Joe and Karen’s place to stay without hesitation. His directions, ideas of what to do and see, the location, and the wonderful place made it ideal for all of us. A+ work!

We enjoyed our stay. Parking and access to the amenities were really great and the location was great in north Kihei. AC was strong in the living room and fans were available in the bedroom. We enjoyed cooking in the fully equipped kitchen!

We had the best time at Heather’s Wailea condo! We recently spent our Thanksgiving holiday at her spot and the kitchen was well stocked for what we needed, the lay out was perfect for us (family of four plus my mom), and Heather was an incredibly gracious and thorough host throughout. The condo might even be better than the photos! We had a great time and plan to go back.

Wow what a beautiful location! Within a few steps of a tranquil beach where we saw turtles swimming and watched the beautiful sunset as well as morning yoga and swimming. Everything was close by including grocery stores and restaurants and we had the luck of being there for live music on the 4th Friday. Tamsen’s townhouse is probably the best equipped Airbnb I’ve stayed at - we had everything we needed included beach towels, cooler bags and access to the pool and grill area. Perfect !

My husband and I had a positive experience staying at this condo. Communication with the hosts was excellent—they were attentive, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. While we did encounter a mix-up at check-in, as the condo was still being cleaned when we arrived, the hosts handled the situation with professionalism and kindness. Once the condo was ready, it was spotless, cozy, and perfect for our needs. Our baby, who had been cranky after the flight, settled down and slept all night, and we all enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Despite the initial hiccup, the experience was great, thanks to the hosts’ dedication to ensuring we had a pleasant visit. We would happily recommend this Airbnb and would stay here again!

My family and I had the privilege of spending a week at Kanako's beautiful condo! The place was clean, tidy, and comfortable for the much needed vacation in paradise. The condo was stacked with everything we needed, and we truly loved spending time there. Kanako was always very friendly and accommodating to my questions; he even left us with local Hawaiian treats on the kitchen counter. We thought that was such a welcoming gesture! Overall, I would highly recommend considering his Airbnb. The location in Wailea and price was well worth it. Thank you again for having us! Mahalo :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There were 3 of us and the configuration worked out beautifully. We had everything we needed and the kitchen was great for us. We were able to walk, take the trolley or Uber everywhere we went. The beach here is beautiful. The view was amazing and we would def stay here again.

What a gorgeous home! Holy cow, those sunset views.😍 Staying at Ken’s place for our first trip to Maui was a dream. His beautiful home is equipped with everything you could ask for. We took full advantage of the beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, and sturdy beach wagon. Only a few minute walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and the Shops of Wailea. If we’re ever lucky enough to return to Maui, we’d definitely stay here again. Thank you, Ken!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Hawaii! The home is incredibly cozy, with thoughtful details that made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The décor perfectly captures the island vibe, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere.The house was spotless and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were wonderfully comfortable, and the outdoor space was a true highlight – perfect for enjoying the Hawaiian breeze and stunning views.The location was ideal, close to beaches, shops, and restaurants, yet tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable Hawaiian getaway. Steve’s home was perfect! Very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet (only exception- the rooster next door gave us a wake-up call every morning, lol!). Amenities were wonderful- even had a hair dryer and a couple curling irons in the Master bdrm drawer, plus a couple robes to wear). Plenty of pool toys and beach goodies- towels, new beach chairs and two new beach umbrellas. Even a cooler. We brought a bunch of things we ended up not needing because of what was supplied. The home has been beautifully updated. He has everything you need in the kitchen, too. We’ve already recommended this home to several friends. We had our 4 month old granddaughter with us and there was a Pack N Play provided with the infant insert which was perfect. The Master BR downstairs is huge with a little kitchenette. Everyone in the family loved it. The view off the deck is stupendous. So much so that our (now) son-in-law decided that was the perfect spot to propose to our daughter. Unforgettable trip!

Super cute AirBnB in the heart of old town Wailuku. Beautifully renovated, tasteful decor, cute little outdoor patio. The beds were extremely comfortable and all the towels and linens were fresh. Recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Turtle House. Poni was wonderful, location made us feel like we were locals. Beaches were amazing, so many fun restaurants to choose from. Her guide book was second to none, recommendations were spot on. We will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gal’s place and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Maui. The villa was in the perfect location and the pool and other amenities were great for anyone who wants to visit the area but prefers to stay away from resort style getaways. Other reviews mentioned the noise from the street and the park across the road, which is something to note, but typically it was never too late or kept us from sleeping. I hope to come back for a visit one day!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was perfect, with stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions. The lanai was absolutely ideal for watching both the sunrise and sunsets, and we were even lucky enough to see whales from there—what an unforgettable experience! The apartment itself was spotless, as perfect as the pictures, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway!

Betty is awesome and responsive! Her place is clean and well equipped with everything you will need. The location is right in the middle of Maui and act as a great base to travel around. She was so nice to even let us check in early so we don’t need to carry our luggage in our car. Will definitely stay there again if we do come back to Maui!

Carolyn's space was very organized. She was very clear in the arrival description. The space is in a really good location, walkable to a lot of restaurants and the beach right across the street. I highly recommend it.

Great little condo in the most perfect area of Kihei. Walking distance to plenty of shops, restaurants and beaches, although I would still recommend renting a car to get around the area. The condo complex was quiet, private and the designated parking spot was right outside the unit. We saw lots of wildlife on the back patio including deer, cats, chickens and roosters. Yvonne's unit was well equipped with beach towels, snorkels, beach chairs, plenty of dishes/pans for your own cooking, fans and air conditioning. We would love to stay here again some day! We had an amazing stay. The place is so near to the shore. It was just across the street. We had everything, cooking and specifically washing our clothes. I highly recommend this place! 👍👍👍

Can’t say enough of how much we enjoyed our stay here. The place was amazing. Super clean and we thought the space was outstanding and had so much space. Looked even better than the pictures when we arrived and we liked that it was on the ground floor. Paul was also so accommodating when we asked for a late checkout. We had a very late flight and it made our last day enjoyable with plenty of time to play and pack. We couldn’t be more appreciative. We will most definitely stay here again.
