Vacation rentals with a pool in Kaipara District

I recently stayed at Ron’s cottage in Maungatapere and had an amazing time. The cottage itself is spotless, cozy, and has everything you need for a super comfortable stay. The peaceful rural setting, with beautiful views and fresh air, makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Ron is a fantastic host—friendly, thoughtful, and always on hand if you need anything, yet he gives you plenty of space to enjoy your stay. You can tell he’s put a lot of care into making the cottage feel welcoming and homely. If you’re after a quiet getaway in a stunning location, I can’t recommend Ron’s place enough. I’d absolutely stay here again!

What a fantastic holiday for the whole family of 8 including 2 children. The place was immaculate, private and peaceful. The large home provided a lot of space for everyone to have their own privacy. The amenities were amazing and the kitchen had absolutely everything and more. To out it simple, it felt like a home away from home! Bathrooms were beautiful and clean with plenty of hot water to go around. Spa was amazing and the kids spent most of their holiday in there. Sue and her husband were very helpful and communication was fast and clear. Highly recommend this place for all families with small children! Can't wait to go back.

We stayed here for a ‘mini moon’ to have a few days of relaxing, and wow - this place was just perfect. The quiet, serene location meant we could fully unwind. The place was so beautiful done with everything you need. We so appreciated the little gift on arrival & all the extra little touches (s’mores ingredients, outdoor fire, beach towels etc) It’s not often we feel like we need to return to a space but we absolutely will be back!

The photos do not do it justice, the location is beautiful and quiet and the accomodation is totally perfect for a getaway long or short. Do not pass up the opportunity to stay here!

So beautiful and peaceful — we were looking for a place to get away from it all and this was the perfect spot. It’s pretty remote, but Daniel and Jude made it easy to find by providing very detailed directions. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great communication and amazing hosts — recommend very highly.

It was so lovely stay for us! The pool and the views are beautiful. The appartment is large and very good for discovering Whangarei Heads. Marg & Jan are so helpful and their property is so nice for spending the holiday. Thank you, ladies :)
