Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Kaipara District

A fabulous stay of five days - made even better by a spell of great weather and wall to wall sunshine. Beautiful and varied beaches all nearby, from Waipu through to Te Arai. Accommodation layout perfect for family, children and grandparents allowing a bit of separation. Peaceful & private location. Well equipped. Lovely high ceiling living space with excellent indoor/outdoor area. Minor access issue caused by 3 year old swiftly fixed by Sarah with the minimum of fuss, for which we were very grateful.

What a spot! This place is amazing! private pool and spa, so clean and has way more than normal. 5-10 months drive to beaches, cafes, supermarket… everything was perfect!! Will definitely be back! Thanks so much

We had an amazing time during our stay! The surroundings were absolutely stunning, making it the perfect escape. It’s truly a fantastic spot for larger groups looking to create unforgettable memories together.

I have stayed in a lot of places but Anneke’s place is very special. If I could give it 10 stars I would. The view and layout of the unit is just about the best I have ever experienced with an Air bnb. The bed was comfortable, the unit was immaculate and waking up to that view was wonderful. We stayed for a week and we could have stayed much longer. We thank her for her kindness and hospitality.

what a place!! the house is far back road and incredibly serene. we came with two young kids and 4 adults and there was heaps to keep us occupied. trip across the estuary with kayaks to these amazing beach breaks a particular highlight. The whole house has something for everyone and honestly think we may be back. Rebecca was also an amazing host and had loads of local knowledge to share.

We absolutely loved our stay. The location was perfect for us - just a short drive to Mangawhai Heads, and peaceful away from the hustle on a busy long weekend. A short walk to shops (and coffee!), and an EV charging point is very close. The house itself is beautiful - very comfortable and welcoming; we wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back!

Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful Gill's home is. The surroundings are so beautiful, short drive into town where you can find everything your looking for. Gill is such a wonderful and kind host, if you have a chance to visit her home, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my son's wedding so special, so lucky to have met such a amazing woman.

Nice getaway area, surrounded by many beaches within 30 minutes drive. The views are amazing but it comes at a cost (as expected) where you'd have to drive along a windy gravel road up a mountain

Made to feel very welcome by Vanessa and Pauls, who are very accomodating in terms of using the facilities. They have a lovely, high quality accomodation, and were super friendly. We loved the addition of their very friendly dog. Would highly recommend this space for some real rest and relaxation in a beautiful area.

Such a magical place with beautiful views of the coast line and hills. The two cabins decorated with a rustic but modern feel and an outdoor area with seating and bbq that separates the cabins, such a great escape for couples or families as there is a good amount of space. Tonia was really polite and made us feel at home. Also made all instructions really clear and easy to follow and was always easy to reach if needed.

Incredible! We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge. The views were beautiful, and it was so peaceful. We were fortunate to have clear skies on our first night, and had an amazing view of the stars. A little bit difficult to get around i.e to the beach and lighthouse etc however we made the most of relaxing, and would definitely return.

Beautiful location, amazing panoramic views perfect for a couple nights away to get away from reality. Has everything you need, host was friendly and quick to reply. Went and did a horse trek and a light house tour with the a local guide. Easy to find and was an awesome experience. Thanks again, highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay here at the cabins. The surroundings are stunning. We took our little dog and he had the time of his life. The cabins are very cute and the bed is comfortable. If you’re looking for something a little bit different with a great view of trees and nature then this is your place. Thanks Carol x

We loved our 3 night stay at Linda's place, great location, spotlessly clean and homely. The beds are very comfortable and the home is well equipped. Linda was a great host !

Sheryl and Ian were very warm and friendly hosts with good recommendations for local coffee and places of interest. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and loved the cute cabin details, books and artwork. The outdoor kitchen was adequate for cooking meals and the spa added a nice touch of relaxing luxury.
