Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kailua

It was away from everything, not much people on the beach across the road from the house.. most of the stuff we down was south of the island which wasn’t ideal but it was a good time!

We loved this house. it was an ideal location for visiting the North Shore. The patio is nice for meals. The beds were comfortable. There is an easy walk to coffee, food and shops.

The house and location was great! It looked exactly like the pictures and we really enjoyed our time there. Hosts were super kind, helpful and accommodating!!

October 2024... Without a doubt, this was one of the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. I felt right at home. It was comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities needed. The view and backyard were beautiful. The host, Joy, was very responsive and had excellent communication skills. We went with family to celebrate Mom's birthday. When we walked into the kitchen, Joy had a bouquet of flowers and a balloon as a nice surprise for Mom. She was so happy and appreciative. I thought this was a lovely gesture. The neighborhood was beautiful, felt safe, and was clean, with very friendly neighbors who waved to us when we drove by.

well, the only word for the place is specular. Perfect place in the middle of the valley, can see the ocean and mountains from backyard. The house was in perfect order and has everything you need from kitchen utensils to snorkling gears. The house is in the gated community so no concern of safety as well. Perfect place to take a holiday with family/ friends. Highly recommend 👌

I will definitely stay again at Lyndsay’s place Great Location, Clean, pace full..and just steps from the beach we love it.

Reason for staying: Great place to stay with a large family and have convenience of havig a washer/ dryer for post beach days and less packing. After staying in Waikīkī area for a few days during our trip, we stayed here to be connected with family rather than staying in separate hotel rooms so the little cousins could spend more time together. Location: It was further away out and a bit of a trek, but Ko’Olina and Kapolei was 30 min drive which wasn’t too bad. Pretty much no options for food within the area, but Kapolei only 30 min drive. There we did a Costco food run, and enjoyed local coffee. Safety: Tourists wouldn’t know it, but being familiar with the island, just beware it is a bit on the rougher side of the island where they have scooted off almost homeless in the area. However, we had absolutely zero issues, because of how distant it was away the home was. In addition it was within the guard and gated community. Overall: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

My group just adored this home. Jimmy is a remarkable host with an even more gorgeous home. It was so beautiful peaceful & went along with the nearby beaches. Finding beach fun supplies in the garage was so helpful. The boogie boards, snorkeling mask, beach umbrellas & chairs came in clutch for us. Thank you so much for responding quickly and helping me resolve our parking issue as well🫶🏽 I really do appreciate Jimmy for being so understanding and quick response in helping my guest & I find a resolution for our multiple vehicle situation.

Great location, has beach supplies available, and was a comfortable place to say in the busy city of Waikiki.

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was in such a beautiful and walkable location. We didn’t even need a car, which was good because the parking was expensive in Waikiki. The view from the condo was incredible and we enjoyed the Friday night fireworks immensely. We also appreciated the AC!

Gerri was very help and responsive. Our family of 5 had a wonderful time staying at the Airbnb. Many beach gears were provided upon request and we made great use of them!

It makes me happy when i get what I expect. Everything was as advertised. Good value for the money, good location, walkable to everything in Waikiki, clean and though nothing fancy it was quite comfortable. The shower is nice and the bed wonderful. The owner/manager was quite responsive and prompt. Enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

Great stay! The host was incredibly helpful and attentive, making everything easy. The location was super convenient with easy parking and close access to food trucks, the subway, and Waikiki Beach. Perfect spot for exploring the area!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was perfect for our family of 5. Great location, very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals. There were beach towels and 2 beach chairs provided for use which was very convenient. There was only 1 set of snorkeling gear so we did have to buy snorkels, snorkel shoes and a beach bag for our family. The Foodland down the street does have all those supplies but be prepared to purchase. Would recommend this listing!

The host was very helpful, provided very clear instructions, and was reachable. If you don’t mind being in the city with some noise and down for walking Waikiki (highly recommend), this is a great spot with great host.

we loved our stay here. easy access to the beach and restaurants. the home had everything you possibly would require from dishes to beach chairs. Tracy was super responsive and also resolved an issue quickly during our stay. I would highly recommend Tracy's home.

This was a great stay and anything located in Waikiki is a bargain if you still have money to spend for shopping and other activities. Great location with lots to do. Erika was a great host and I will definitely seek her properties on my next visit. I would give a definite 4.7 stars.

Char’s place is better than the pictures and description. This place has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is top notch, I cooked several times and wasn’t disappointed in the appliances, knives, utensils, dishes, pots/pans etc. I cook and most Airbnb’s that I’ve stayed in leave a ton to be desired in the kitchen. You won’t be disappointed! The bathroom is stocked with anything you might need and there is laundry as well. She has boogie boards too! That’s just the inside. This place is literally a 30 second walk to the water. The view and the sunsets are worth it alone! This is Maili Cove so it’s just south of Waianae. To be honest, I love the west side of the island and I’m happy to spend my money there to support the local businesses. The locals are wonderful. Rent this place! You won’t be disappointed! I tried to extend my stay a few more days but it was already booked! Book it now! Char, you’re awesome!

Wendy is a wonderful and responsive host. Condo is affordable for that area. Beach at Turtle Bay and walking trails nearby are beautiful. Awesome snorkeling at Shark’s Cove! Appreciated the laundry in the suite. Mahalo Wendy!
