Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Kagoshima

It was a very quiet neighborhood. It was a great time to relax on the deck with a view of the sea. The house is also beautiful and fully equipped with amenities and more. There is also a cape cafe with a view just a short walk away, so it was a good change of scenery even when I wanted to have a little coffee. I would stay again next time.

We had a fantastic stay here, the house is really cosy and comfortable, and the view is absolutely fantastic! I couldn't believe how beautiful it was, both at night and in the morning. We had breakfast on the wooden terrace, while admiring Sakurajima, and it was amazing. The hosts are incredibly friendly and kind, and made sure to welcome us and explain everything when we arrived, and then say goodbye when we checked out. They even gifted us some beautiful handmade coasters! We were thrilled with our stay, and hope we can stay here again in the future. Thank you again so much for everything!

We had a pleasant stay in Amami. The accommodation is very nice with swimming pool and sauna available. Very well maintained and well located to discover Amami by car. Very beautiful beaches are nearby.

This is an amazing house directly on the beach. It was by far the best rental of our entire Japan trip. As a matter of fact, it was the best Airbnb rental we have had over the past years. Everything was there with clear instructions. It was much better than the pictures. Ideal for our family of 6 from the Netherlands. Highly recommended! It is only a few steps to an unspoiled sand beach, surrounded by a beautiful rocky landscape. It’s a short 10 minute drive to an excellent Onsen, and within an hour there are many things to do and see (for example, the Samurai Armor factory, Samurai residences, a Satsuma pottery village, Japanese gardens, etc.) as well as some great restaurants and stores. We definitely will be back as soon as we have the opportunity. Thank you so much Michiyo for your fantastic service!

Yui was amazing...very communicative...she met us at the entrance and helped us carry our bags in. There was a washer and dryer too. We'll stocked bathroom...all amenities and more provided. House was gorgeous, bed super comfortable. Good heating system. Yui is also trained in Keralite massage and you can pay extra and opt for this and we did and her massage was EXCELLENT. Do the 2 hour one. The massage is done within the Airbnb itself and you can choose from 4 different oils. loved this place and would definitely come back.

A beautiful place to stay, spacious and very nicely decorated with a fantastic view of the sea. Due to the location, it takes a rental car, also to get to the restaurants and hikes in the region. We would still highly recommend the place. The communication with Mike and Keike was also great, they gave many helpful tips.

We had a very pleasant time. I was looking for a place to stay for three generations, including small children, with two bedrooms. This is a floor plan where the bedroom, Japanese-style room, and living room were separated, making it easy to use. The Japanese-style room has a sliding partition, so I was able to relax in the living room by turning on the light and watching TV even after the children slept in the Japanese-style room. We also received timely replies to messages during our stay, and the response was quick and I had a comfortable and reassuring stay. Next, we're planning to stay with friends and family.

Kayokos place was an absolute dream. So much attention to detail. Comfort. Beauty. Serenity and lush nature. Our three nights weren’t nearly enough to fully enjoy the place. It felt like a sacrifice to leave the house to go out on the hikes (though the Yakushima hikes were some of the best of my life!). We really are committed to returning to Yakushima and when we do we hope to stay at Kayoko’s again but for a week at least!

Yes, it’s right on the beach. And yes it feels very private as there are only two small hotels around on other sides of the beach. Most busy there were something like 20 people on the whole beach. Nice! The beach is sand with small pebbled and dead coral. So it’s not just a sandy beach like some othear beaches at Amami, even ones very close by car. This was not an issue for us. Snorkelling is great and also easy even for smaller kids as there are no waves and some coral is really very close. We managed even with our youngest 4,5year old kid. House is nice, AC working very good if needed. Nothing to complain about. Communication with the host ok. Snorkelling gear we had some and we rented some at Isola blue cafe 3min by car. There is a parking space for 1 car. Would be happy to stay again. Lots of crabs around the beach and the house.
