We really enjoyed our stay here, we were two families and the common space was great + the host was super helpful with recommendations and helping us throughout our stay.

This was a great place to stay. It was a peaceful place where I could relax more than at home, and the whole family was able to relax.It had everything for everyday life and I had a stress-free stay.Everything was clean and tidy, and I could feel the host's care. Check in was a breeze as well.The clothes dryer was easy to use, and I was able to do laundry every day, and it was much more comfortable than a 5-star hotel.There were plenty of kitchen goods, and it was very fun to cook and eat local ingredients. Middle school and elementary school children also had fun and relaxed at home. I was also impressed by the host's thoughtfulness.I definitely want to visit again!!️

Very peaceful time in Yamato village, a bit remote from the city area where it’s much more convenient, but if you are looking for some peaceful quiet time, this place is great. The onsen Hanahana resort was really close by and we had a good time of water sliders and some sauna time on a rainy day. The owner couple was very helpful communicating where to eat and things to do.

We stayed for the first time.I had a flexible response and kind explanation to my questions, and I was able to use it without worry! The room was as pictured, and it was clean and comfortable without missing items or problems.♪ I had a head spa treatment again, but it was very pleasant and I slept well.My mother was also the first head spa, but she was happy.☆ Yui is a nice person.It was a one night and a short time but thank you for providing a lovely place♡

Wonderful simple accommodation in a really beautiful and secluded place. The hosts were extraordinarily responsive, kind, and helpful with the house and local activities. Highly recommended!

We loved staying at Hirauchi Hot Spot. The house was honestly a dream to stay in. Every part was stunning - from the tatami mat rooms, the table with the heater, the beautiful glass doors all along the wall giving us views of the garden, the homey yet traditional Japanese interior design, the outdoor and indoor tub, all the kitchen facilities and even the smaller details like the big sprays and the Onsen dresses - every detail was so carefully thought out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you again 🫶🏽

Such a peaceful corner of Yakushima! We really enjoyed the drive through the tea farms to reach the cottage. The view of the ocean and greenery was so calming and the cottage had everything that we needed for a couple days. I would definitely stay again!

Gorgeous place in a small town on the quiet side of the island right by Ohko waterfall and the World Heritage coastal wildlife road. It was a little challenging to find the place and parking, but there was plenty of space once found. You need to pay close attention to the instructions about the front door, which can be a little annoying because everyone in my group kept asking me how to open it from the inside. I preferred to use the rear door myself. The kitchen area was excellent and well laid out and the dining table was made for group meals. I don't normally play video games, but was surprised to see a PS5 in the entertainment center and played a little Gran Turismo 7. The TV was huge! The bathroom layout was great but a surprise for my group was how excellent the washer/dryer worked! 2 hours and a full load is clean and dry! The only downside to this place is that the location is further from the mountain hiking access points in Anbo & Miyanoura, but not the fault of the place
