It was perfect for our mama’s getaway and Jade was the perfect host, responsive and flexible. The outside was our favorite part with the songs of the babbling creek while soaking in the hot tub or relaxing on the swings or by the fire pit. Not far from the only part of the creeper trail that is open in Damascus and her recommendation for The Bike Station was spot on. Would definitely stay again

We stayed in this beautiful cabin and it was a wonderful experience. From the first moment, everything was in perfect order and the impeccable cleanliness made us feel at home. Every corner of the cabin is full of details that invite you to relax and enjoy nature. We spent unforgettable days, creating special memories in a quiet and cozy environment. Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect getaway. The views outside were stunning, offering a peaceful and private setting to relax and unwind. Everything was exactly as described, with all the listed amenities available and well-maintained. The location was ideal—secluded enough for privacy yet within a 30-45-minute drive to a variety of activities, including snowboarding, skiing, hiking, dining, and local attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a serene and comfortable retreat!

We really enjoyed staying at Richard's place! It's a beautiful and cozy cabin with amazing views. Everything was very nice, clean, and welcoming; the directions of how to get there and how to access were very clear and accurate. It's really a great place to enjoy nature!! Cloud 9 was more than we had even hoped for. The house was private with amazing views. The cabin was well equipped with everything that we needed. It was especially helpful having things labeled in the kitchen including empty cabinets for our pantry items. The hot tub was incredibly relaxing. The host was super responsive and friendly. We enjoyed watching it snow from the giant windows while cozying up in front of the fire place. We plan to return to Cloud 9!

We had a group get together in January and everything was great! The house listing is accurate, the views were beautiful and the trail up the mountain was really fun. The main living area was a great hangout spot. Only real wish was that the hot tub was closer up on the balcony or that the basement was finished so it's not a freezing trek from the hot tub. That's no reason not to rent this place, I will likely be back.

The place looks just like the pictures. The owners were very kind and accommodating. We loved our mini vacation. The kids enjoyed running in the backyard, making smores at the campfire, playing in the creek and relaxing in the hot tub. The views were beautiful and it was very peaceful. The little market is 7 minutes away and has great cheeseburgers and onion rings. For grocery type items I would recommend driving 10 minutes to the Dollar General. Thank you for a lovely stay, we’ll be back!

We had a great stay with friends and enjoyed the private setting. Perfect seating for our group in living room and kitchen table. Hot tub was clean and had plenty of room for the 6 of us.

This was our second time staying at this location and it was absolutely perfect! The home is exceptionally beautiful inside and out with stunning view and lots of privacy. Everything in the home was neat and clean and Laura our host was very accommodating and easy to get ahold of if we needed her. Check out was simple and included a clear list of instructions on how to lock up the house. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future and will continue to recommend to all our friends and family!

We loved our weekend retreat to Cassidy’s cabin. Host was super responsive to any questions we had. We had a great time snow tubing nearby Hawksnest. We also enjoyed several local dining establishments. It was great to see the community was starting to heal from Hurricane Helene. We loved this location are already looking to go back again this fall/winter! Thank you Cassidy for opening up your home to us.

Pure magic! We did not know what to expect, delightfully impressive every time. If you are an adventurous soul, this is a great place for you

The house is such a gem!! It was perfect for our family of 9 for Thanksgiving. We could have never left the house our entire trip because the main level is so cozy and comfortable. There is plenty of games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. My son loved the little nook area with the bean bag. There is plenty of space to spread out with the 3 different living room areas. If you want a good workout - go for a walk! The house is at a higher elevation in the neighborhood, so you will have to walk down and back up. We hiked to Laurel Falls - that was another workout! Be prepared to drive a little ways to the grocery store. We brought most of our groceries but needed a few things and the next town is 25-30 minutes away. (Of course, there is always Dollar General that is closer!) Not many places to eat out. The first night we went to the Trading Post and the food was good and the people were so friendly, we stopped back in on our way out to say goodbye!

We had a great time. Quiet and peaceful. Dennis and Kate were great. Farm was really nice and easy to get around. lots of friendly animals. Will come back.

I enjoyed the stay at Kevn's place. It is recommended that you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle, as my Civic didn't want to go up the gravel driveway once it was wet from the rain.

Awesome cabin! Just like the pictures, has everything you, open layout perfect for a family or couples. You’ll enjoy the expansive front porch and listening to the bubbling creek. We will be back for sure!

Cabin is beautiful! We had the pleasure of staying during a very snowy cold blast! The mountain and road were covered in snow, I’d highly recommend snow chains if staying in winter months, I was in a 4wd SUV with off road tires and honestly felt like we were pushing the limits. But what a great experience, would love to stay at the dancing bears cabin again and enjoy the cities and other mountains around!

Wonderful cabin getaway weekend- driving up to the cabin can be treacherous in winter so 4WD a must. Walking inside the door opens up to a warm cozy cabin, fireplace and sleeping arrangements were super accommodating. Beautiful views and awesome games basement. Make sure you check hot tub temp as soon as you arrive!

Awesome stay! The cabin is full of fun, you really don’t have to leave. Fully equipped kitchen and plenty of linens. I especially loved the fans upstairs since it is warmer. Do let it be noted that the drive up the mountain to the cabin is very scary and I would recommend arriving during the day. Other than that, a great stay.
