This place is sitting in a peaceful surrounding in the bay. We could see lots of wild birds and specially kangaroos who were frequent visitors. Nothing better than having morning tea in the lobby that overlooks the lake! Beautiful area to go for strolls around the mountain and the lake. Don’t miss the lookout that is nearby. Dave was a great host and he made every attempt to make us feel comfortable. Highly recommended

Chris and Karina are friendly and attentive hosts and have created a peaceful paradise. - Beautiful views and lovely sunsets every night and kangaroos bouncing around. - Well equipped kitchen. Burrows Rest in the stunning King River Valley is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into another era - a cosy, chic cottage brimming with charm and plenty thoughtful touches. Stepping onto the porch and into the cottage, we were enchanted by its vintage charm - books with handwritten dedications from the 1940s, a classic writing desk, wallpapered bedrooms, and a clawfoot bathtub accompanied by soft jazz playing on a record player greeted us on our arrival. Darlene is an exceptional host, with warm communication and thoughtful details. A homemade chocolate cake and handwritten note welcomed us, along with a delicious cheese platter and a well-stocked fridge featuring homemade jams, chutneys, fresh berries, yoghurt, milk and farm eggs. The peaceful setting, with the sounds of kookaburras and private river frontage, was pure bliss. No TV meant quality time to read, play games, and truly unwind. A magical retreat - we can’t wait to return!

Even though Ester's Airbnb would mainly get used a lot by families with children, it is very ideal for the individual traveller who wants to spend a few days alone in a spacious and peaceful setting. If you're sick and tired of going to Airbnb accommodation places that are shared properties, then this is the place for you. You can have as much space and solitude as you want for as long as you want throughout the duration of your stay. But help is just a message away if you need it, and your host will respond within a short period of time. Having stayed here previously meant that I was well prepared, so I didn't need to message the hosts for anything during my stay. Not only was the accommodation very peaceful, but there are labels with clear instructions on most things telling you what they are or where to find them and how to use them. Early December during the weekday period is a great time to come to Marysville if you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing escape.

Delatite Point is just as beautiful and welcoming as the description and photos indicate. It was a great place to relax for a long weekend with our close friends (two families of four) with a lovely grass area for backyard cricket, amazing views, beautiful wildlife and private access to the water all adding up to an amazing stay. Nell couldn't have communicated better, or have been more willing to lend a hand. All instructions were perfectly clear and thorough, the address was spot on and all the advice and information about local amenities was great.

Damian and Jenny Just want to say thank you for having us and letting us enjoy your beautiful home, the country, the lake and your lovely and well maintained garden, my 84 yo Mum enjoyed walking around the lovely garden. A beach lounge chair with an umbrella would be perfect to enjoy the sun and the lake. Love the serenity and unobstructed view of the lake from the balcony and even inside the house. The fully equipped pantry and kitchen made feeding a large group of people easy and festive. The young and the old enjoyed the pool table so much! Hoping to be back again. Our stay with Vickie and Ed was amazing! The place is peaceful and beautifully maintained, offering stunning views and a true escape to nature. Vickie and Ed were warm and welcoming, sharing their love for farm life and making us feel right at home. The accommodations were spotless and cozy, and we loved the chance to interact with the animals. A truly relaxing and memorable getaway—we can’t wait to come back!
