Fantastic spot to enjoy a weekend in Charlottesville. There is a place to sit outside underneath two large holly trees, and the location is right next to a wonderful winery. It was well situated to wineries in the area, grocery stores in Charlottesville (Wegmans is 5 minutes down the road), and also near Monticello-Saunders Trails (5 minutes down the road). My only complaint is some of the dishes/utensils weren't cleaned, presumably by previous renters.

Great long term stay! Spacious apartment over a garage for our car and a new washer & dryer we really appreciated. Great value for $. Excellent zoned baseboard heat during cold weather. Be aware of the very steep exterior stairway though. Kurt is a fantastic host with excellent communication skills. If you have needs/questions don’t hesitate to reach out. Beautiful nearby hiking trails at Great Bridge Battlefield. Oak Grove Lake and Chesapeake Arboretum also have enjoyable trails. Highly recommend Bergy’s Breadbasket (farm market) on Mt. Pleasant east of Centerville for amazing shakes and sandwiches on homemade bread. Veteran owned Pale Horse Coffee is a must for us when in the area. And thank you for your service Kurt and Traci!

What a find! Lovely setting with horses and Galloway Belted cows on their farm. Our cabin (The Hunter Cabin) had a delightful rustic, old feel to it. Very quiet and peaceful. This would be a great cabin for a family, also. Two double beds upstairs and a California king on the main floor. We were originally looking for a B&B to celebrate our anniversary, but this was much more enjoyable. And if you like great dining, The Molasses Grill in Halifax town is about 20 minutes away. Kelly was very responsive to our needs - and made us feel right at home. (Loved the s'mores supplies, coke and a glass bottle of milk in the fridge!) Thank you, Kelly, and your staff for a memorable stay!

Cindy is always so responsive and polite! I love the alpacas and working dogs. The place is always clean and has everything you need. 10 minute drive from downtown Farmville. Highly recommended.

David’s place was fantastic! It felt like a little house on the prairie. The house was absolutely spotless! Very quiet. My favorite thing though was without a doubt the view as you step out the front door. It was breathtaking!! The rolling blue ridge mountains and an endless field was right up our alley!! Thanks David!!!

Great place! Very clean and private. Communication was excellent. If I’m ever in town again, I would definitely stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay. Property was beautiful. We had to drive a bit to go hiking and get dinner but we already knew that as it was thoroughly explained in the listing. Best part was their farm cat Bilbo. I’m not a cat person but couldn’t help falling in love with the sweet cuddly guy who was waiting for us when we got up and when we returned from a day out exploring.

Ray was an outstanding host -- very communicable, helpful, and the home was perfect for our group. We stayed overnight prior to the Richmond Marathon and were really grateful we could book 1-night and had an easy access to downtown.

Absolutely loved our stay with our two large hound dogs. The cottage is cozy but not crowded even with the four of us in there. We had a reservation for a different airbnb fall through the day before our stay and booked this one last minute. The hosts were very accommodating and everything was spotless. Our dogs loved the trail, the lake, and the beautiful view. The hosts were very friendly when we first got there and then gave us our privacy during our stay there. It was a great first experience with Airbnb.

I enjoyed a two week stay--my second time at Nick's place--and it was perfect for my needs. The cabin is spacious with many thoughtful touches, like a well-stocked kitchen (love the snacks!), extra cords and cables for electronics, and a variety of bathroom toiletries. The country setting is beautiful and quiet, but just a short (15-ish minutes) from JMU & Harrisonburg. Nick is a great host, proactive and responsive with communication. I travel through the area frequently and would stay here again. Thank you!

Lafayette Cottage is charming. it has many well thought out details. We really enjoyed it, and would certainly stay there again.

Scott and Christi were wonderful hosts and the space was perfect. Everything as described. The bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything needed to cook proper meals, plus thoughtful touches throughout the home. I loved seeing the animals out the windows each day. Unfortunately the weather did not allow me to enjoy the porch or outdoor spaces, but imagine it would be great in the warmer months. Easy to get to the highway and Charlottesville. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quiet stay in this area.

I stayed at Julie’s place for a couple months while working in the area. She was also super helpful and accommodating. Also, her backyard is stunning. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needed a stay in the Suffolk area!!

The mother in law suite was beautiful and cozy. The bed and couch were very comfortable. Had more amenities than expected, there is a plug in burner that I didn’t see listed which was great. We brought our large dog on the trip and she loved going on walks through the field, seeing the farm animals from a distance, and most of all playing with there wonderful dogs. It is a 15 min to the closest store/fast food and 30mins to the Richmond area. It was very relaxing and cozy there we did not mind the driving to do any activities.

Just gorgeous. Exceeded all expectations. The Christmas decorations and all the extras made us feel like we were staying at a resort! I wish I could give 6 stars for her giant monstera.

I come to this cottage every month for my stay when I work in the area. I love it because it is a great little place to go after my crazy busy days, and I can decompress in a quiet serene location without noise or worry here! I don’t have to go out to eat or get food for work as I can shop like I would at home and meal prep for the whole week! It is super clean and organized, I am that same way so it’s a “PERFECT” fit for me all the way around! Grateful to get to go there each time and know that’s what I’m walking into♥️

We are repeat visitors at La Casita because it is the perfect place to stay in Charlottesville! The Airbnb looks identical to the photos and is super clean and comfortable. Laura is a friendly, communicative host. Look no further, La Casita is the place for you!

Jeremy's place was organized, clean, and close to many breweries and wineries. We would definitely reccomend this spot to others.

We had a great time in their beautiful guest house. Everything they promised was available and more. Willis and Yvette were so sweet and personable. They put the cherry on the pie of our visit. We'd like to stay with them again when wet visit Virginia again.

Had a super stay - the place was spotless and provided everything we were looking for! Great location - close to everything. Really enjoyed ourselves and plan on coming back!

Loved this little spot. It was so cute and had everything we needed. Clean and ready for guests. They even asked if I needed creamer for coffee being we arrived almost midnight. Mike and Kat were awesome and sweet. Above and beyond helpful. Will go back again. Looking forward to seeing them both again. 💕

We loved our holiday stay at Tara and Antwyne’s cottage. They were friendly upon arrival and the cottage was as described. It had all the amenities we needed and was well stocked with spices. It was 15 minutes from Colonial Williamsburg and close to stores. We would definitely stay again.

Great apartment in nice area of Richmond. Loved the Little Nickle restaurant across the street. Would stay there again.
