Vacation rentals with lake access in Jackson County

Todd and Barbie are great! They're always available to help in any way. They're kind and thoughtful. The place is in a neighborhood but you can't see a single house from their house or giant beautiful deck. It's been too cold to spend a lot of time out there lately, but there's a very nice large propane grill out back. The kitchen has everything you could need or want. Linens are nice, towels are fluffy. Washer and dryer are big. New dishwasher in December is quiet and works great - the old one worked too, but Todd and Barbie fix things at the first sign of trouble. I couldn't more highly recommend! We stay there every time we're in the area and it's available.

It was the perfect amount of space for my husband and I. The home is well appointed, cozy and comfortable (and very quiet!). I loved walking the hills in the neighborhood. Cashiers is our happy place, and we will absolutely rent this home again. Highly recommend!

We brought the kids for a recharge and unplug getaway and had the best time. The house was so thoughtful and clean and bright. Every room was well appointed. Kitchen was stellar and we cooked dinner and a big breakfast multiple days. Perfect setting for getting to Cashiers and Highlands and all of the amazing hikes in the area.

Beautiful, secluded location. Perfect ti get away from it all. Make sure you bring anything you need with you, the closest town is 25 min away. Great hiking nearby.

Only great things to say about Amanda and her place. She was always ready to reply and accommodate when it was needed. I was very impressed by how promptly she answered all of our questions. My family drove all the way from Florida and it was definitely worthy to have chosen her place. Big enough to accommodate all family and at a fair price. Close to attractions that we were interested in and, at the same time, very private. Thanks for everything, Amanda! Definitely recommend :)

Great location - a very short walk to the lakeside trail. We had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Alice and Philip were very responsive.

Comfortable beds, great spacious shower, and gorgeous balcony with a view over the creek. Relaxing and comfortable place to stay.

The condo is great! Lots of games, comfortable furniture, stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and great location! As a family of five we had plenty of space in this cozy condo. We hope to be back in the summertime!

Our family of four had an incredible stay at this cozy Airbnb! The views of the snow-covered mountains were absolutely stunning and made for a perfect backdrop throughout our stay. Our family had plenty of space to relax and unwind. The kids loved the Murphy bed! We especially loved gathering around the fireplace, with plenty of wood provided to keep us warm and toasty. Everything was just perfect, and we’d definitely love to stay again in the future!

This is our third stay. We love coming here. Love the house and location. Always pristine clean and quick to respond if anything comes up. Near all our favorite things to do.

Bree and Boyd were great hosts! Very responsive, had great local recommendations, and a place that felt like home. The backyard was great for our kid as snow had just fallen, so we all had plenty of room to have a snowball fight. The location was excellent - very close to downtown Highlands, a short drive to activities such as waterfalls, hiking, and snow tubing, but also felt very private. 10/10 would recommend staying with Bree and Boyd!

Place and the host were amazing! :) Trillium is a special area and this house was special. Jennifer was fantastic and super helpful!

We loved our 8 day stay here. The area is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed walking with our dog through the property and down the road through the neighborhood. The cabin is dog friendly but you would never know it because it was quite clean. Philip and Michelle were wonderful hosts and responded and acted quickly when we let them know the lightbulb in the kitchen had blown. They gave us some great recommendations on places to visit to see some spectacular views and waterfalls. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

Bear Lake is beautiful and isolated. Top notch staff, beautiful spaces and good amenities. The house was in fantastic shape and was everything advertised. The back porch is a fantastic place to hang out and enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains on the other side of the lake. A few things to consider - the road to the house is curvy and very steep. Also, cell service is very poor, so make sure to set your GPS and copy a picture with the door code before leaving the service areas.

We had a wonderful few days at this mountain cottage. The house is even better than the pictures suggest. It was extremely comfortable and well decorated. Travis was very responsive when I contacted him with questions . All in all an excellent house to rent. Thank you Travis

Brian, David and I will defiantly come back to stay again. We love Lake Junaluska and your location is perfect for easily jumping over to downtown Waynesville, the lake or Maggie Valley. As I mentioned in our conversation, you guys did an amazing job with the renovation bringing this sweet little house back to something very special. We felt very much at home instantly and the directions you provided made the check in and out seamless. The house was very clean and I very much appreciated the little touches of items provided in the kitchen. I would also note, the little notes on how to use the fireplace and other items were tastefully done and left no room for questions.
