Such a great place to spend the night at! Loved the scavenger hunt as well, such a clever thing to include! Loved how the place was walking distance to everything. We had a problem with the hot tub but Shanna was on it and fixed it right away while we were out to dinner. Great hosts!

Large, spacious home in the perfectly peaceful setting. So many areas to gather or sneak away for quiet time. Our extended family vacationed in Galena in this home and it provided the perfect space for cooking meals together, enjoying the beautiful weather on the back deck and screened in porch, watching football in the great room on the giant TV, and super comfortable accommodations for sleeping and bathing. The hosts were fantastic! HIGHLY recommend!

Historic 1800s Cabin Retreat on prairie w/3 ponds

We had the BEST time. The cabin and acreage were breathtaking. Our kids had a blast playing, fishing, catching frogs and more. The cabin was small but perfect for our needs, we loved the porch overlooking the view. The kitchen/bathroom are very small (historic property!) but well equipped. Cabin stayed pretty cool even in the heat of the day, but A/C is there if you need it. We would totally visit again! Hosts were very responsive and friendly!

Our second time at this property. Love that each bedroom has a bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Lots of towels in bathrooms. Very quiet at night. Nice you added a coffee bar and huge sectional in living room Highly recommend this property. House while spacious is also very comfortable.

Stunning 5 bdm home on The General in Galena Terr!

The General was perfect for my group of 9. We had our Friendsgiving and ventured out to Main St Galena. The group would love to come back for a future trip. We can’t recommend it enough. The house had everything we needed and clearly labeled. The house is great and felt like a home. My group used the kitchen extensively for cooking dinner 2 nights. The kitchen is large and accommodated multiple people working on a dish or keeping up with dishes. We saw a movie in the movie theater room. The room was cozy and provided a great movie watching experience. Some also enjoyed the game room. Some in my group used the hot tub and they loved it. All the rooms were great and there was plenty of space for everyone. None of us had been to Galena. This house was just a short drive away from downtown Galena and we had a fun time.

The place was perfect. Everything was as described. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely settling and very relaxing, plus anything you could need was provided. The guest book was very informative. Quick ride to downtown. I will definitely check in to renting this spot again on my next visit in the near future. I’d love to stay again, it was so cozy I hated to leave! Thank you for your hospitality!

This marvelous custom built house, and experience there, was great! The large open kitchen is well equipped, furniture is nice and comfortable, and the views are outstanding. This home accommodated our annual family reunion of adults and kids from afar with this centralized location. We enjoyed exploring regional hiking and museums, but not the restaurants as we brought/cooked all of our meals, including grilling steaks. Danesa is prompt and thorough with communicaations and the entire process of renting was extremely smooth. Our family members have expressed interest in a return visit!

Harbor Hideaway Suite

Beautiful, newly renovated suite with great view of the river. Within walking distance to brewery and restaurant. Dan provided great instructions for parking and check in. The spiral staircase provided a little extra rustic charm, but was a tad challenging to negotiate while carrying our luggage. Overall, it was a nice stay and Bellevue is a beautiful river town.
