Beautiful and modern house, in a very quiet area with very few neighbors. The light pours into the spacious living room from dawn, as it faces the rising sun. Natural plants create a cozy atmosphere. The residential development is located on the outskirts of town and has an atmosphere of tranquility. 5 minutes from the village, Lidl supermarket and highway, 10 minutes to Granada and the Alhambra, 30 minutes from the coast and 30 minutes from Sierra Nevada. 10 minutes to Nevada Shopping Center and PTS.

La Gitana. Views of Mulhacen and Veleta.

It is a traditional house located on the edge of the village overlooking the highest peaks of the peninsula, Mulhacén 3482 and Veleta. Be careful with your mobility because there are many slopes in the village and stairs in the house. During summer on the "terrace" there may be flies and smells of cattle because there is a goat pen nearby. You can park or use the small parking lot of Las Espeñuelas for loading and unloading, which is 15 meters from the house, but first make sure you can drive.

The dream of an Andalusian country house

The biggest draw of the house is its location, with a stunning view of the Sierra Nevada National Park and Canales Reservoir. It is very well connected with downtown Granada and the ski resort of Sierra Nevada, only half an hour driving. Pets are allowed, but there is a €30 fee per pet not included in the reservation. Charming hosts, cosy cottage, delightful dogs, an amazing pool and just about the best olive oil you could taste, all nestled in a lovely part of the world with scrumptious views and easy access to the amazing Sierra Nevada mountains. We loved our time at Olivers place and will be back.

Jorge’s place was just as pictured. The house was beautiful, clean and cozy. Jorge met us at check in and provided clear instructions, including regarding the parking. The house is located in a small village so there isn’t anything to do there, but it’s a great place to gather with a group of friends and have a good time. We went to the grocery store in the next town (12 minute easy drive) and purchased groceries and drinks. We enjoyed staying at Jorge’s house, thank you for the hospitality!

A 10-star accommodation, everything was very clean, and the attention we received was the best. He left us coffee, sugar, infusions, a nice touch. He's a 10-star host, I spoke with him to be able to check in a little earlier and without any problems. When we arrived, he had left the heating on to warm the house, a very nice touch. Next year we'll be back again. He's quite the host, 100% recommended.

We had a great week at Juan's place. We especially loved the outside space, as did our 4 and 2 year old children. It's a perfect wild space for kids to explore in. We also loved the location. We had access to lots of trail running and hiking without having to use the car. Monachil village is pretty and friendly, and has a nice little playground and fountains in the park to keep the kids happy.
