This is a great house in a beautiful place. Really great if you want to be outside and fully experience the lake. Walkout access to the lake and lots of "toys". We could see this being a lot of fun for groups of friends or couples as well. We were a family and it had what we needed, but could clearly support a more social setup too. Daniel was great. He called us as soon as we had a question and helped us several times. It had everything we wanted.

This Airbnb was the perfect fall getaway! We visited the lake to soak in the autumn vibes, and this spot exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for our group of five, and the host’s recommendations made our trip even better. While the area is known for summer fun, I think fall might be the best time to visit. We had an amazing time exploring the charming shops, cozy restaurants, and stunning waterfront spots, plus the nearby vineyards are a must-see. Can’t wait to return next year when the leaves are changing again—absolutely loved our stay!

We had a great time staying at The Buttonwood! Absolutely gorgeous views and the dock was perfect for watching the sunrise over the lake. Our girls trip was amazing with all of the wineries nearby and hiking in Watkins Glen. The home itself was lovely with plenty of natural light and cozy sleeping areas. Would definitely visit again next time we come to the area, which is an absolutely must! The fall was beautiful but now we need to check it out in the summer!! Thanks so much for hosting us!!

Very comfortable home for our weekend away with extended family! The kids had a great time in the basement and with the board games. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean! We went skiing at Bristol mountain 45 minutes away and also enjoyed a local winery. The upstairs was a little chilly and the host was quick to provide extra blankets and space heaters. Would love to check it out in the summer !

This was the exact setting that we were looking for. The house and everything about it reminds me of my younger years. I wanted to stay in a house that felt familiar. The bunk house was a blessing. Super quiet and cozy. The view of the lake was also amazing. It was easy to find and there are plenty of places to eat and shop. If you forgot something, there is a big blue store down the road which will have everything you need. The fact that we visited off-season, meant that there were fewer crowds for hiking and restaurants, but also meant it was very quiet and cozy. We could barely hear anything except nature while relaxing at the house.

House was great for family of four over Thanksgiving. Kitchen, family room, bedrooms and bathroom had anything we needed. Furniture and beds comfortable and tasteful. Very quiet in the off season. Beautiful lakefront and yard with dock-would be amazing in summer, and was convenient for dog!! Enjoyed short drive to explore trails and falls around Ithaca and Cornell campus! Beautifully decorated Inn and dinner at Taughannock Falls-highly recommend.
