Our family of 5 was extremely comfortable at Knotty Pine cabin. It was exactly as described and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We had fun using the kayaks and the kids were super excited to see the swimming platform with slide. Addy was very responsive and kind. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, cozy cabin on lake. Enjoyed watching the eagle pair throughout the weekend. Even though the weather was not conducive to outdoor activities (cold, rainy and really windy) we were warm and comfy in the cabin and had a great time.

We stayed in Cabin 3. It was even nicer than the photos. It is spacious and neat. Large windows to the lake on 3 sides! We loved the fireplace, the coffee. The kitchen was great to cook in with all the right utensils. It was so quiet and private, we saw a beaver and swans in the lake from the window. Finally, the sauna. The instructions were specific and helpful so we felt comfortable building a fire, rolling in the snow and warming up in the sauna!

The Deer Lake Apt was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed taking our boat out on the lake. The host was very accommodating and friendly. So nice to find dog friendly places to stay. Our dogs were very happy and content there.

We had a great anniversary weekend with our pup at Brandon's cabin on Long Lake. The co-host Liz was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The cabin was clean, and had all the necessities for cooking/grilling. The little beach was perfect for our pup to play and for us to wade in, and they had a canoe available as well. The lake was very quite and peaceful. Lots of yard furniture and games to enjoy the natural, still, beauty of the Northwoods. We also spent a day driving to the Northshore and exploring the beautiful state parks! Even though there is no running water in the cabin, there is a water cooler inside for drinking water, they provide solar bags for showers, and there's a big tank of water out back for washing dishes. They also have the CLEANEST, least smelly, outhouse I've ever used. The cell reception wasn't the best - we have Verizon - so that's something to plan for if you need to stay in touch as there is no wifi. Liz said that AT&T is much better in the area.

This cottage was a lovely spot in the woods surrounding Chippewa National Forest. The property is lovely and Caribou Lake is gorgeous. Marcell is a short drive away if you beed to pick up any supplies, but there plenty of opportunities for someone who enjoys the outdoors to enjoy the immediate surroundings. Highly recommend and we would like to visit again!

The property is absolutely gorgeous! The lake is pristine and we spent a lot of time on the beautiful dock and in the surrounding woods. We loved using the sauna as the weather was a bit cooler during our stay. We thought the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space for our family of six. We thought a few things could use some updating. We wished there had been a larger TV upstairs so that we could all comfortably watch movies or sports in the family room. Also, the basement shower did not have adequate water flow and so we all ended up using the upstairs shower. Ultimately, these weren’t dealbreakers for us because our primary purpose was to spend our time outdoors. If you are looking for a true north woods getaway, this will hit the mark.

Perfect little getaway on the water over the holiday. Private yard, nice beach setting, and pet friendly which was perfect for us! Would def recommend and rent again. Thank you, Molly! 😃

This property was beautiful and quiet in October and we completely appreciated the sunsets from the dock. The house was very clean and well-stocked and perfect for our group of seven. Katherine was very communicative and answered all our questions promptly. Highly recommended stay!

This back yard was beautiful, with a deck leading down to a dock. The front had a busy highway but with a privacy fence, it was no issue. This was the perfect size for our small friend group and the games were much appreciated. We’ve never laughed harder. The queen beds were clean and comfortable The kitchen just large enough to get any meal prep done. I would definitely recommend and would look to book again if in the area.

A perfect place for our family of 5 and my parents to spend a long weekend. The beach area was great for the kids, and they enjoyed tubing behind the pontoon. Christine was a great host and even let us borrow her lilly pad for the kids to play on. The beds were super comfy and we had everything we needed as far as amenities. We’ll be back next summer for sure!

This tiny house was amazing! My husband and I spent two nights here on our mini getaway! We had such a great stay & enjoyed the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere! The place is just as beautiful as the pictures! Highly recommend!

The lake house had plenty of room for our family, and the lake access was great. Lake Pokegama is a great lake to explore. We brought our pontoon and kayaks, and we were able to enjoy both of them. We also enjoyed the grassy yard, the outside deck, and the small strip of beach at the edge of the lake. The kitchen was well-stocked and the bathrooms had everything we needed. The bedrooms were all really nice, too, and everything was very clean. It was a great place to spend a week at the lake.

Great place on the lake! There was plenty of space for our family and we particularly enjoyed sitting outside on the patio and floating in the lake during the day. We rented a pontoon one afternoon, which I highly recommend! We played pickleball a few times at the YMCA and brought up our bikes to enjoy the Mesabi bike trail. There is so much to do in the area! Bring bug spray if you plan to be outside at dusk. The house was clean and well-equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We thought we’d use the sauna but honestly it looks more appealing in photos than in real life. We appreciated the bottle of wine and s’mores kit left by the host. Note, there is a small chore list to take care of when you leave. Can’t wait to visit Grand Rapids again!

This cabin will not disappoint. Great location, lots of room, and a great deck with a view. We enjoyed our time here!

Big Cedar Lodge was very spacious, unique and homey. It was a great place for our family weekend. Peg was very helpful with questions ahead of our stay and during our stay. Even when the weather wasn’t what we had hoped, the cabin offered plenty of space for ping pong games and movies. Caribou Lake is crystal clear, beautiful view. Very functional kitchen and eating spaces.

Book this place for a girls trip and I got to say, we ALL love the place! it look just like the photos! very beautiful. Felt just like home. Home was warm and ready for us! . because we went during cold season, we didnt get to go swimming in the lake but we still really enjoy the view!! definitely worth it. thank you maria!
