Lake house vacation rentals in Italy

Monica was the best host I've met. The communicaton with her was very easy, her response time is super quick. The instructions to go in to home is very clear and she is supporting the instructions with videos. Her place is exactly as it seems on the photos and maybe even more beautiful. The view from the balcony and the terrace is mesmerizing. Neighbourhood was very calm and quiet but it might be because it was off season when I stayed there. Although the neighbourhood is calm, the markets and closest shopping centers are only within 15 minutes driving distance. House is also very close to the Villa Balbianello. The house was very clean, Monica left everything we need in the fridge and kitchen. Lastly she helped us a lot during our stay with her recommendations for restaurants, shops, facilities around the region.

La casa di Carmen era incredibile. La casa è pulita, ordinata e trovavamo tutto quello che serve a noi. La casa è situata in un angolo e subito davanti al lago ed era molto piacevole fare una passeggiata alla mattina sul lago in piena tranquillità. La stanza dove ci sono sauna e jacuzzi ci portava la sensazione di stare in un altro pianetà dello zen e ci siamo goduti tantissimo! Super consigliata !

Daniela's Home was Amazing on the Lake. Daniela met us for check in. Check In and out was easy. The home had everything you needed. She had a wonder fruit Basket and Bread and jams for toast in the mornings. The home was super clean. We took a wonder ride around the whole lake (about 45 minutes) . Seen so many amazing little villages and places to shop and explore. Highly recommend the lake ride. Restaurants and cafe's were less than 5 minutes a way. Shopping in Iseo, with beautiful water front and and ferry boats less than 10 minutes away. Parking right at the home in a gated community. 5 Stars Ron March 2025

Le château de lierna est l'endroit idéal pour visiter le lac de Côme. Premièrement le logement est parfaitement équipé/agencé. La vue est incroyable, peu importe où vous regardez il y a le lac. Deuxièmement, Lierna est hors des zones touristiques trops fréquentées mais reste quand même attractive avec une gare, un port, des restaurants, etc... Troisièmement Maurizio est un excellent hôte, prévenant et d'une grande gentillesse. Si vous devez visiter le lac de Côme n'hésitez pas!

Fantastic stay. Apartment is perfectly situated for everything in Varenna. Had an issue with hot water on one day but was resolved swiftly. Will stay again when in Varenna!

It’s a beautiful house in Murano and super convenient to get around. We had everything we wanted and especially loved the kitchen. Our kid was super happy with the garden and lot of space to play :) the hosts were always responsive with whatever questions we had. Highly recommended.

Cristina’s place was amazing! It was everything we could’ve dreamt of and more. This is a serious must book Airbnb if you’re travelling to Venice. The location was perfect, the Airbnb was immaculately clean and Cristina’s restaurant recommendations were incredible. Would 100% come back. Thank you!!

Absolutely wonderful stay at Claudio’s place. Beautiful apartment. Close to everything. Claudio was very friendly and helpful. Drove our heavy luggage to the train station for us. Would definitely come back again! Really enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend.

The apartment is very nice, but what definitely best about the accommodation is the garden. It is absolutely lovely and we enjoyed it a lot. Also it is very close to the lake, which is nice.

Beautiful place, so comfortable. The accommodation has EVERYTHING you need for a very comfortable stay, spacious and well located. Safe and easy private parking and just as described. Can highly recommend and just wish we had stayed for longer. Thanks for hosting us.

The house was incredibly clean, everything brand new, and every detail was carefully thought out. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. We were 4 adults and 3 children, and there was plenty of space and comfort for all of us. Located in a peaceful area with beautiful mountain views, it offered the perfect environment to relax and enjoy nature. Sofia was extremely kind, warm, and attentive throughout our entire stay, always available for anything we needed. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches and useful recommendations provided. Without a doubt, we would love to come back and stay again. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit. Die Wohnung bietet einen wundervollen Garten und Ausblick. Die Lage ist super. Man kommt direkt über einen Tunnel an den See und erreicht alles, was man braucht, fußläufig und mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten. Die Wohnung ist ausreichend eingerichtet, könnte nur vielleicht noch etwas Liebe mit Gardinen oder Bilden vertragen. Die Küche verfügt über eine Grundausstattung. Wer vorhat, viel selbst zu kochen, sollte alles nötihe selbst mitbringen. Marco und Giorgia waren tolle Gastgeber und immer erreichbar. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! 😊

Simona is a wonderful host Top Notch. She is very communicative, always ready to help us constantly in touch with us to see if we needed anything. Her home was priceless. The views are unbelievable. The house is very comfortable. It has everything you need. The bed is very comfortable. There are lots of storage space closets in every room. And something that I always cherish there are many electrical outlets. Simona Waited for us on the street to show us how to get to her home. It is very close to Como and to surrounding cities, Simona was always offering us advice and recommendations and sent us many links to places to visit This place is unbelievable. Make sure you don’t miss out on it.

This was a lovely experience for myself and my partner. Our host Giulia was incredibly flexible with allowing us to eat and become familiar with the town before check-in. The place itself is built on an old medieval castle which was quite interesting & unique. It was charming and had everything we needed and some nice touches like a selection of teas & snacks. The breathtaking views had us in awe every day. The beach directly beside us was peaceful and not crowded. The local restaurants each had their own authentic (delicious!) tastes, and the surrounding towns were easy to get to. This ultimately made our stay extremely peaceful yet exciting. We thought it was handy that we could take a quick train ride to Varenna and Bellano so we did not have to adhere to the more limited ferry schedule - were able to catch a breathtaking sunset this way! Overall, we could not recommend this experience more and was the highlight of our 2-week Italy trip.

Liebe Yvonne, Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit. Wir hatten alles was brauchen in der Wohnung. Der große, umzäunte Garten war für unseren kleinen Sohn toll. Er konnte alleine raus und Fußballspielen. Yvonnes Enkel war noch ein plus als toller Mitspieler. Yvonne hat immer schnell auf fragen reagiert. Die Lage ist super, toller Blick, aber nicht zu hoch, so dass man schnell auf der Hauptstraße ist. Große Supermärkte und ein schattiger kinderfreundlicher Strand 10 Minuten entfernt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und hatten eine tolle Zeit! Yvonne war sehr fürsorglich und wenn wir noch mal an den comersee fahren, kommen wir gerne wieder. Vielen Dank, Stefanie, Robin und F

Die Wohnung und der Garten sind wunderschön, wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kühlschrank war mit Getränken gefüllt, es gab einen großen Schrank mit Snacks und anderen Kleinigkeiten, und in den Badezimmern waren zahlreiche Kosmetika und Co vorhanden. Alles war sehr sauber. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, und der See ist direkt vor der Tür. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen ❤️

Andrea was the best host! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt we had made a lifelong friend. He was generous with his time in helping us get around and helping us on tips for the area. The home - just stunning! The location was beautiful, the home was spotless and perfectly appointed. We enjoyed snacks left by Andrea and made meals in the kitchen looking out over the lake. The hot tub was special, and we loved every moment with our children! It was truly the perfect ending to our Italian vacation- and we hope to visit again.

Wir waren mit unseren 3 Kindern und unserem Hund für eine Woche in Guidos Unterkunft . Sie liegt etwas höher gelegen nicht weit von einem Großen See entfernt , den man vom Garten aus betrachten kann. Es gibt keine direkten Nachbarn und das Ferienhaus ist komplett eingezäunt . Der Pool ist nochmals separat eingezäunt, was es für unsere Kinder sehr sicher gemacht hat, da 2 unserer Kinder noch nicht schwimmen konnten :-) Überall stehen wundervolle Olivenbäume und in Guidos Garten steht der größte Baum . Nebenbei bemerkt bekommt man bei Guido auch eines der besten Oliven Öle aus eigener Produktion ! Der Pool hat eine schöne Größe , ist sehr gepflegt , wie auch die komplette Anlage und auf den liegen bekommt man den ganzen Tag Sonne ab :-) Die kürzeste Entfernung zum Meer mit wundervollem Sandstrand beträgt ca 45 Minuten mit dem Auto. Wir können jedem diese Unterkunft empfehlen der einen Ort zum abschalten sucht und die Seele baumeln lassen möchte , es war ein toller Urlaub ! :-)

Beautiful place. We really wanted a peaceful spot with beautiful views and got exactly that. The house is up in the mountains above Lenno with access to good restaurants but it was a challenging walk from town. Recommend getting a car and taxis are not consistent. We would go back to the area and back to the same house.

Merci Tatiana et Béatrice, nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Tremezzo malgré le temps! L’emplacement est super, à quelques pas de la splendide Villa Carlotta et ses jardins, du bus/bateau ou ferry pour accéder rapidement à Lenno (villa del balbianello), bellagio (coup de cœur pour les jardins de la villa Melzi) ou Varenna (splendide). L’appartement était très agréable et fonctionnel pour notre famille de 6.

Jennifer’s place is well located and with nice views to the lake and a very quite rural surroundings. Ideal for family stays. Jennifer makes you feel at home, every detail in the house is well taken care off, a very warm and comfortable home far from home. Do not follow Google map to arrive there but the instructions given by the owner. We will certainly repeat our stay!

Our stay here was absolutely incredible from start to finish! The hosts went above and beyond — they met us at the top of the street to guide us to the garage and apartment, walked us through the space to make sure we were comfortable, and even helped carry our bags up the stairs. They were responsive, kind, and gave us the best food and activity recommendations of our entire trip. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for our three-day stay. The location is stunning — peaceful and surrounded by gorgeous views, yet still easy to get to nearby towns. If you’re driving, the dedicated garage space makes parking a breeze. Our only regret is not staying longer. Be sure to spend time in the private garden — it’s a serene little slice of paradise. The owners are incredibly lucky to have hosts who clearly take such pride in the experience they provide. We felt truly cared for, and we’ll absolutely be back.
