Elena and Simone are great hosts for ‘Residenza Esse’, both welcoming and helpful. Accommodation is excellent, well furnished and spotlessly clean. The apartment is very well situated in a courtyard just 50 metres from the pretty main street in Angera and five minutes’ walk from the lakeside, with many restaurants and cafes nearby. The ferry jetty is 10 minutes’ walk away. The garden has areas of shade, with tables, chairs and loungers, with a bbq. Worth more than 5 ‘stars’. Angera itself is a lovely small town in south-east Lago Maggiore, with good access to cars, buses and ferries. A beautiful and interesting area.

A trip of a lifetime sailing the Amalfi Coast! Giampiero helped to make all aspects of our vacation perfect with wonderful recommendations for many things including additional lodging, authentic cuisine and authentic places to visit. Most importantly, he was very kind and thoughtful throughout the entire trip. The boat was very nice, clean and well taken care of. We slept on the boat several nights. It was very comfortable with drinks, snacks, appetizers, etc. Giampiero offered to also obtain other items we may want to have on the boat. We found the light snacks food he provided to be perfect. Giampiero helped us navigate through all aspects of our vacation and we could not have dreamed of a better host. A perfect vacation with a new friend that we look forward to visiting again soon!! 10/10 highly recommended.
