Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Isle of Wight County

I visited Newport News, VA to celebrate my birthday with my son. I have to be honest, the pictures does no justice for this place, lol. Lee's home is absolutely beautiful and is located in a nice neighborhood. My family and I felt right at home. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and clean, the house rules were reasonable, and Lee was a very gracious host. All of our questions or inquiries were answered in a timely manner. The location was great, and within minutes from a number of restaurants and other things to do. I will definitely plan to book with Lee again the next time I visit my son in Newport News. I also highly recommend that you book with Lee. The home is well worth the price!

I've just returned from a family weekend and had a wonderful time. The house was well maintained, clean and exactly as described. We were five adults and there was enough room for everyone - however, I'm not sure I would attempt many more people than what we did. Privacy is important to us and any more folks would have made it fairly limited/busy. The backyard was spectacular and we spent a full day playing yard games, listening to music and enjoying each other. The kitchen was stocked with spices but no oil etc so make sure to pack appropriately. Go SLOW when you near the house for the first time - every single guest missed it because the address sign as a little tough to spot. Be mindful of the ferry as well. It's a neat experience but quickly looses it's fun/luster after several days of waiting, riding and more waiting. In no way the fault of the owner/property but just keep it in mind for travel/time. Overall great experience.

I love the backyard. It was fenced in and I felt safe to let my kids play outside.

It's a fairly standard home in that neighborhood. Guessing the only reason you'd stay around here is bc you have family or friends in the area that you're visiting. The home is spacious and comfy. The heating is 10/10 efficient. It's a slightly older house (worn out bathrooms, small living room but fairly big formal dining area). The washer and dryer are efficient, the backyard is big but there's nothing there. The place is clean, the beds have great mattresses (I was expecting them to be old and uncomfortable but my husband and I were surprised at the quality of the mattress and the pillows). If I had to visit this area again i'd totally stay again.

my best friend and her kids had a great time here for three nights. The game room is in a little separate house right behind the main house and it is a perfect place for older kids to hang out. The fire pit outback has tons of chairs and the dining room table inside could fit a whole family. The house can sleep a ton of people, there's three pullout beds underneath furniture. It was a great trip and a great house to spend time with loved ones.

Logs on lawson was a great place to stay for a month. Chess was very responsive. A great home away from home.

The entrance is in the mid-exterior of the car wash where the clients clean their cars. After you park, you have to walk with all of your luggage through the car wash's exterior (amidst client cleaning their cars) and go up many stairs. But when you enter the loft, you are extremely surprised by the beautiful, modern and clean space. Chandler was available every time I needed clarity on instructions. Bring your own food and beverages. There is a pool nearby which is available. Even though there are minimal eateries in the immediate community, there are places within short distance (mall, movies, restaurants) and there is always Virginia Beach.

My extended family takes a vacation together every year. We’re normally at the beach, but needed a place close to Smithfield because a niece recently gave birth and wouldn’t be traveling. Well, we couldn’t have found a better place! Dante’s home provided everything we needed … clean, comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, lots of room for the kids to run around and play, and my favorite … the swimming pool!!! The weather was perfect for lounging around and in the pool. We will definitely be back next summer!

Tana is very helpful and responsive. We had some questions and requests during the stay and she answered them all promptly and got what we need. The place is clean and beautiful. The furniture and decorations are of high quality and very nice. We had a great stay overall. Thanks!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Cristy's home! Everything was updated, super clean, so roomy and so comfortable. The kitchen is so huge and where we tend to hang out as a family so it was great. Bedrooms were roomy and very comfortable. And the bathrooms were updated and had these lovely nightlights. I always bring my own but didn't need them because of this thoughtful touch. And the cats Fred, Betty and Barney were adorable and so easy to care for with just a little food, water and love. The location was great for our trips to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. It was close enough to get there quickly, but far enough away that we didn't feel like we were in a tourist trap but in a real neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a lovely, private, cozy little space. Even in Winter, the garden was pretty—can only imagine how beautiful it is in the spring. Wynn was very responsive, positive, and polite. The yard was great for our little dogs. The location makes it easy to get around NN and Yorktown from a central spot. We will certainly look to stay here for any future trips to the area.

Cindys Haven is a very nice place! So clean and comfy, and everything looks brand new. Many small added touches we’re noticeable loved the Keurig and blackout curtains in the bedroom!

It was a super short stay for me, however, it was a great stay. Everything you could possibly need was available in the rental; even those necessities that often forgotten while packing like a toothbrush. The rental was very clean and very nicely decorated with it looking just like the photos, and the neighborhood is pretty quiet. The host was very quick to respond to messages, and really made the rental feel homey. I didn't get to take advantage of all of the fun extras, like the fire pit, smores supplies, and coffee fixings, but would gladly stay there again. Wonderful experience!

Came to Suffolk VA for my aunts wedding in mid October! Stayed at Sabrina’s place and felt right at home with my entire family! Was impressed with the cleanliness of the home! This was my first stay using Air BnB had a great experience! If you’re going to VA Beach/ Norfolk/ Suffolk, VA and want to be away from the hustle and bustle to relax in a quiet neighborhood this is the place for you!

Clean, roomy, location with a big comfortable bed. Convenient location (marred slightly by construction on the main road). Washer/dryer including laundry soap was a bonus. Everything seemed new as if recently renovated. A malfunctioning water heater on the first night was fixed by the next afternoon - the maintenance personnel showed up very shortly after Chandler called him the next morning, and then made himself available for followup service as needed. Responses to texting or through the app were somewhat delayed, but once the water heater was fixed everything went smoothly. Another bonus was the location of a couple nice restaurants in the center next door within easy walking distance - especially nice not having to get out at night when the primary construction was happening. Very nice place - would stay there again.

This is a quaint home in a nice neighborhood. They kitchen had great appliances, and the home was nicely decorated as a family home. The back yard could have used some attention as it was full of leaves and not able to take our dog outside the fenced area due to the debris. The beds had older mattresses, but the bathrooms were nice. Overall, a great home and I would recommend this to someone needing a dog friendly home.

I stayed at Julie’s place for a couple months while working in the area. She was also super helpful and accommodating. Also, her backyard is stunning. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needed a stay in the Suffolk area!!
