Calvins place was far better than the pictures and description. Set in a beautiful quiet neighborhood it is its own oasis in itself. It was clean . No pests. Well stocked with coffee, snacks ,toiletries ,and hygiene. Every room felt modern and clean. It was beautiful architecturally and furnished very well. Calvin was the host you we as customers expect . Very responsive . Very kind and considerate. Accommodating on all fronts! We loved it and would use it again next year!

We stay in places all around the country for work but this was one of the best places we have stayed. Great communication, easy to find and with lots to do and see around. The house itself was perfect, big comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area. Thankyou

I took my dogs and girlfriend for a weekend away to this lovely little house in surry. It was a very pleasant experience. It was a nice quiet little small town area away from the city life. they had a penned in area in the back where my dogs I swear had a better trip than we did running around like crazy in the yard. Interior was nice and cozy as well. Well kept and tidy. It did rain most of the time we were there so we didn't get to make much use of the firepit and outdoor stuff. but hey maybe next time. Would recommend and would stay again. The host were also super helpful and repsonsive to my questions, which I personnaly appreicated.

Lucy and Jerry have somehow created a cozy and quiet yet spacious home that allowed us to totally relax and rejuvenate. Staying at their home was a special treat for us and allowed us to connect with our family. I cannot speak highly enough of this serene and well appointed home. We loved the closed-in patio and enjoyed playing board games there. The safari room was a sweet space to enjoy hearing the frogs in the evening and peruse the great selection of books. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything necessary for our laundry needs. Finding the hidden nooks and spaces was delightful for us. The sheets were so soft and the beds were comfy and our sleep was excellent. This was a memorable stay and we hope to come back soon and enjoy this wonderful gem hosted by the kindest, most loving and attentive owners, Lucy and Jerry.

We are “professional” AirB&B travelers and have stayed at over two dozen locations for extended stays. In this case we were kinda stepping out of our comfort zone. It was totally worth it! Tom and Wendy’s place was amazing. One of the best rental experiences we’ve ever had. The place was so unique, so well thought out to every little detail. The property is beautiful. The chickens, the deer, the pier on the water, the woods, amazing. They added (while we were there) an upper deck for a Birds Eye view of the property and we were the first to enjoy it. Tom and Wendy were so friendly and welcoming even offering some fresh chicken eggs. My wife said the bed was the most comfortable she has ever slept in. We will definitely be back!
