The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Kyle Lodge is our new one bed lodge set in the private grounds of our larger property, The Old Church (which sleeps 12). It is a private and exceptionally comfortable space featuring a roll top bath with views of open countryside. The secluded and sheltered covered decking area with woodburner allows you to enjoy nature all year round. The local grocery shop is a 5 minute walk, with many restaurants and outdoor attractions only a short drive.

The Retreat is a sympathically converted field shelter perched on the side of the hill above our farm. It commands spectacular views of the Ayrshire countryside below it which you can enjoy from the comfort of your bed or that of the private hot tub outside. The property is ideally located to make the most of the many world famous golf courses in the area as well the numerous beaches and the dramatic coastline of the west coast of Scotland.

Great getaway cabin on the Banks of Loch Lomond, fantastic views of the loch and surrounding mountains. A great base for enjoying the many water sports available on the loch, hill walking or simply a relaxing break. We have recently changed the cabin to a self catering accommodation. It now compromises of a kitchen and separate seating area, fully glazed to enjoy the loch what ever her moods! New pictures will follow.

Dunans Cottage

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.

we had a great stay and the lodge was really nice, we would definitely stay again! Prior to checking sophie made us aware of work being done to fix the Internet post the recent storm and she made us aware of when the lodge was available (which ended up being way before the check in time). She provided a guide to the local amenities within the village and further afield which was very useful.

Beautiful setting with immediate access to the Puck's Glen walking trail. Great place. Taxi service from Dunoon was just a call away. We called 30 to 60 minutes in advance to arrange a pickup. They were on time every time even during the busiest part of the Cowal Highland Games. The place has a clothes washer, but the dryer is a clothesline on the patio, so plan accordingly if you are on extended trip. There is a laundry on Church street if you need a quick turnaround.

Our stay in Wemyss Bay has been superb, right from the booking stage of our stay, Fiona has been brilliant in her communication. The cabin is of a luxury finish, and was completly spotless. The views were stunning. During our stay Fiona was quick to respond to any queries and gave us some great suggestions. This really is one of those places where the pictures match the reality. We would definatley book again

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Abigail’s lodge. The lodge itself is cosy and had everything we needed for the week (including warm duvets). Abigail also left a very thoughtful welcome basket full of Scottish goodies. The location was breathtaking and so very peaceful. The lodge was less than 5 minutes walk to Puck’s Glenn, a beautiful gem. It’s a fantastic place for dog owners, with lots of lochs’s and forests to explore. Thanks for having us and we’d love to come back at some point.
