Wonderful living accommodation with lots of space available. Beds are extremely comfortable.

Great place to stay with lots of brilliant bars and restaurants nearby. Parking was a little tricky, one night we had free parking and the next day the space was taken and we had to pay for local parking (which was very easy). This place was perfect for our 2 night stay in Takayama.

I was able to check in smoothly even if I booked on the same day. It was a pleasant trip to tell us about various tourist attractions. Thank you

Easy to go near convenient store

It was very nice to have bread and drinks for breakfast, towels changed daily, and garbage collected. The room has gas heating as well as air conditioning, and it was warm even during the New Year holidays. There is no TV, but there is a large monitor and a computer, so it was enough with internet news and TVer. The first floor has a dining room, kitchen, and a large Japanese-style room. There is a Japanese-style room where one person can sleep comfortably. The second floor has a bedroom for two people. There seems to be a bedroom for three people on the third floor. It's a mattress type, so it's as easy to use as a bed. The Noto earthquake occurred during our stay. I evacuated to the mountainside because I didn't know the land at 5 meters above sea level. At that time, I was able to contact the owner immediately. It was also nice to order New Year's Eve dinner from the restaurant next door. (I think the reservation deadline is quite early) If you're going to cook, it's a good idea to bring some of your own food. We brought a portable IH stove, a sukiyaki pot, a pot to boil New Year's soba, an oven, a yakiniku plate, etc.

I stayed with my friends and family for one night. As others have written, I didn't know which house it was or which parking lot was, so it took a little time to check in. However, it was well equipped and the living room was a very pleasant stay. My friends and I were from Tokyo, so these accommodations are also good!I was happy.There is also a tatami room, so it was an easy and wonderful stay for the children.Thank you very much.

We really enjoyed the house itself, as it was so very comfortable and perfectly located, but also the local restaurants. There is a great yakitori place called Iburu very close to the house, which I highly recommend. It was a little pricey but some of the best grilled chicken I’ve ever tasted. Also, a new coffee shop called Pinecone was a really nice discovery. They don’t open till noon, but the young owner is a fluent English speaker who loves to chat with the customers. He also sells a selection of craft beers (in cans) from around Japan. We bought those to take home and enjoyed drinking them at the house in the evening. A lovely 125 year old Japanese sweet shop is close by, too. And the hot springs! Finally, on our way home back to Shiga, we stopped at a little place called Ippei Sushi. The best sushi I’ve ever had. ¥2,200 for a lunch set fit for a king. You should get there before 11! All in all it was a spectacular holiday. We look forward to going again next year.

We came to fly over the mountains again, and only when we got out of the car did we realize that we missed the host's pick-up call.A few minutes later, Lin Sang drove to the station to pick us up.This time, we stayed in the “residential area”, right next to the supermarket, purchased various ingredients, and used the rice given by Lin Sang to make the first sushi pot. We toasted to “Feiteng Penglai” purchased from Furukawa at the spacious dining table.This trip to Hida-Takayama was more authentic.Thanks to the host for their meticulousness and enthusiasm.

Excellent location, near the train and bus station but walkable to the main attractions. The place was spotless.

Very convenient accommodation! We spent the night with two couples. The fire outside allowed us to spend a very nice evening (be careful there is a surcharge). Parking is a 5-minute walk away but can be accessed by car to drop off things before going to park.

Great Host - Kon makes you feel right at home. Really goes out of his way to make sure you’re comfortable and that you have a good time. His home is very unique and has a retro look and feel to the place. We really enjoyed the complimentary sake and treats and also getting to know more about the culture and area. We wishes we were staying longer and also wish to return to Japan and book this place again. It’s definitely worth experiencing this gem. Make sure you don’t make the mistake we made and only book one night, book a longer stay so you can really enjoy it. Many places to visit in and around the area and enough shops around to get everything you need. Thank you Kon San - hopefully we see you again soon 😊

We were so glad to find this place as our base to explore Takayama and the nearby area. Sachi's place was so close to JR station and Nohi Bus Centre, the convenient location made our sightseeing easy since we basically used public transportation to get around. The whole unit was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The futon was so comfortable, we had good rest every night. We were able to use the fully equipped kitchen to make breakfast/meal everyday. We saved a lot on our food budget. In addition, we got the chance to meet Sachi in person, she was kind and friendly. We look forward to staying in this place again when we visit Takayama in the near future.

The place was great. We felt at home. It is very spacious and has everything you'll need. The proximity to the city center and the train station was also very great. Also, it was very baby friendly. We traveled with our 9 month old son and there was a baby seat at the table, a diaper trash can and also extra towels for the little one - most hotels and accommodations don't get it. If we return to Takayama, we will definitely come back to this accommodation.

This was my first trip with my dog (miniature schnauzer) A residential area close to Kanazawa city, behind the host's property (side?)There was a London bus The bus itself seemed to be reused, so the age was appropriate, but the water, bed, lighting, etc. were skillfully remodeled, and the inside was very clean Our dog treats anyone other than family as enemies, so it was difficult to get along with the host's dog, but he was cute and the host was very kind. The phone box for handing over the keys also had a very nice atmosphere and was great Izakaya, sushi, and yakiniku were all within walking distance, but I recommend checking in advance to see if the places you want to eat are open. The nearest convenience store is 1.5 kilometers to less than 2 kilometers away, so it's a bit of a walk There is no problem if you have a car, and the station is also close, so if you are going by train, you will need a taxi For the bath, we went to the monk's hot spring, which is about 10 minutes away by car. Lovey stay! The food was excellent and they were very kind. I was sick one day and they picked up medicine and made me a meal for sickness. So great!
