Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ironwood

We had a great time !!! The Swiss hut 1 and 2 provided us our needs after a long day of exploring the area. Cozy and warm . Great place to gather with friends and family. Thank you and hope we can come back in the near future.

The location was excellent. It was calm and serene. The scenery was breathtaking. The establishment was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable. The lake was beautiful and enjoyable to explore. The smallmouth fishing was fantastic, although there weren't many panfish or walleye in the lake. We also tried muskie fishing but were unsuccessful. There was a local muskie tournament taking place, and the boat we spoke with had no luck either. The fishing is enjoyable for casual anglers. However, for serious fishermen, Oxbow Lake may not offer the caliber of fish one might expect.

The place was so nice on the inside, super clean and lots of amenities! We were able to park 2 trucks and trailers in the driveway and leave right from the house in our side by sides. It was conveniently close to the side by side trails and town! Very clean and comfortable, I would definitely recommend and come back!

Really lovely and good value apartment to live in. The house is near Sunday lake and is very convenient for people to make a tour around porcupine mountain. The houses is clean and you can get everything you need to cook, have fun, wash clothes, take shower and sleep.

Super cute place! Very clean. Kelley is a great host. Would definitely stay there again.

I rented this house for my son and his family during Thanksgiving. They all loved the place. My son and daughter in law were very pleased at how spacious and clean the property is. My granddaughters enjoyed having their own rooms. My 8 year old granddaughter even commented about the awesome shower. My son is a disabled veteran with a service dog. It’s difficult to find such a nice place that allows animals.

The place was easy to find thanks to the host’s clear instructions and was spotless when we arrived. The apartment was cute and perfectly centralized for our overnight stay while we drove around the UP and Northern Wisconsin for the weekend and was worth the price. I would definitely recommend this location if anyone is considering staying in the area!

Plenty of room for our family of four and we recommend going to Mt. Zion across the street for beautiful views.

Our stay at the Lily Pad Lodge was phenomenal. Beautiful property, great amenities, and Kristin was a fantastic host. We were in town for the Winman Enduro and this made a fantastic home base of operations and a peaceful retreat after a day of racing. Highly recommended.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway! The cabin and surroundings were beautiful. So many waterfalls and hiking nearby. We loved the private beach and views of Lake Superior. Beau & Katie were fantastic hosts. Very kind, responsive, and proactive with information. I look forward to staying here again. Thank you!

We loved our stay on Turtle Lake at Lindsey’s place. We had 4 adults and 2 dogs. It was exactly like the photos and descriptions, spotlessly clean kitchen and bathrooms with cozy bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a number of meals. The grill had extra propane just in case. We took advantage of renting their brand new pontoon and enjoyed sunsets on the lake. The property was private and perfect for relaxing with our pups. All of the toiletries, soap, garbage bags, and cleaning supplies were well stocked which made it so easy to enjoy a week long stay without having to run to the store. We will definitely be back and hope to enjoy their home again next year! Thank you Lindsey & Jamie!

We just returned from our second stay at this incredible cabin in Wakefield, Michigan, and once again, it did not disappoint! This unique and cozy cabin is truly a hidden gem. Our first visit two years ago was during a blizzard, which made for an unforgettable, winter wonderland experience. The cabin is beautifully rustic. The peaceful surroundings offer a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you're lounging inside with a book or exploring the nearby nature trails, it's the ideal spot for relaxation and rejuvenation. The hosts are exceptional—friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond to any needs or questions. It’s clear they put a lot of care into maintaining this special place, ensuring every guest has a memorable stay. We can’t recommend this cabin enough and are already looking forward to our next visit. Whether it's for cozy winter getaways or a peaceful retreat any time of the year, this cabin is the perfect place to disconnect and unwind.

Great north woods cabin! The beds were great!

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is your place. The lake is beautiful and the fall colors around the cabin were breathtaking!

The cabin is exactly as described in the listing. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and very well appointed. While small, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also spotless! I spent many years (more than 50!!) summering in this area but prefer Fall to the more crowded summertime now. The cabin is well situated for ANY outdoor activity, so we made the most of the area while there. We travel with our two dogs, so appreciated that the cabin is pet friendly, and the "welcome" dog biscuit was a nice touch! We hope to be back!!

Nice place, worked well for our group’s needs. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. They were very flexible on our check-out time as our event was running later. Would stay here again.
