Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ironwood

We had a great time !!! The Swiss hut 1 and 2 provided us our needs after a long day of exploring the area. Cozy and warm . Great place to gather with friends and family. Thank you and hope we can come back in the near future.

The location was excellent. It was calm and serene. The scenery was breathtaking. The establishment was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable. The lake was beautiful and enjoyable to explore. The smallmouth fishing was fantastic, although there weren't many panfish or walleye in the lake. We also tried muskie fishing but were unsuccessful. There was a local muskie tournament taking place, and the boat we spoke with had no luck either. The fishing is enjoyable for casual anglers. However, for serious fishermen, Oxbow Lake may not offer the caliber of fish one might expect.

This was the second time at this location. We enjoyed our stay very much and my wife would like to live there. It was very relaxing. And the bakery treats are always a highlight! We like to Nordic ski and it's very easy to get to ABR from the Bakery Bungalow. We did have a vehicle issue while we were there and Jerri was very accommodating. She helped with local contacts and let us extend our stay until we could get vehicle issue resolved. She was so helpful during that time. Thank you!! We would recommend the Bakery Bungalow and will probably be back.

Great value! the house was very clean and clutter free. We did have to drive back and forth a bit to find he exact house; this was mainly due to the fact that we arrived at night which made it difficult to see the address on the house. The house was very comfortable and cozy. It was a quick drive to Big Powderhorn and to the ABR xc ski trails in Ironwood.

Great place very dog friendly, the fenced back yard was so helpful. Super great room, enough seating so our large group could be together. This place is stocked with everything we need, tape, extension cord and big bowls were a nice surprise. Convienent location with a lovely setting and nice view out the back. Plenty of parking too. We enjoyed our stay.

What a perfect cozy space for our winter get away! Everything was as described/ shown in pictures, and we enjoyed hanging out and playing board games. So many little details and extras (great coffee bar, mug warmer, bath salts for the tub, etc). Would definitely stay there again!

Outstanding!!! Will absolutely stay here again next time we come to town to ski! They had the house decorated for the holidays and we felt right at home. It was so much better than staying a local hotel, we had room to spread out, relax and a kitchen to cook. Highly recommend this house and Mark and Susan are phenomenal hosts!

Very accommodating, felt right at home.

We have used multiple times over a couple years. Always clean and lots of space. Only thing I can think of would be another full or queen bed and move bunk bed to porch.

Excellent stay 100% recommended

This was a perfect secluded getaway in the Northwoods even in the winter. I took a week to work during the day. No issues with Internet connection. And in the evening enjoyed my surroundings and the cozy home. And loved all the windows in the house! The woods on both sides and the lake on one side. The weekend I drove to Ironwood for live music and went hiking at a local trail down the road and then another day at Presque Isle River in Porcupine Mtn State Park. Loved the online handbook to the Airbnb. Finally I got stuck in the driveway due to some weather that came in and the messaged me if I need to be plowed out. I said no but I do need help with my car and the maintenance guys came the next day and took care of it while I was on my work call!! I was SO appreciative. great experience and I would definitely go back.

Great cabin for our winter trip. Easy drive to Lake Super and to the falls of the Black River. Powderhorn was just 15 minutes away for skiing. The cabin was nicely decorated and very clean. Cabin was warm and comfortable. Also, well stocked in regards, to kitchen and bathroom items. Very peaceful surroundings.

A perfect early winter hideaway. Being able to wake up and see the lake is a dream. The house was everything as described. It was pretty cold out, and the house remained cozy. Tom was friendly, helpful, and gave great recommendations. Hope to return sometime.

Our stay at this sweet, cozy cabin was very enjoyable. The location was easy access to all we wanted to do. We kayaked the beautiful little lake, road the amazing paved bike trail and hiked the forest trails. After an active day we came back to relax either on the porch facing the lake or in front of the fireplace. We appreciated the WIFI and the very comfortable beds. Good sleep is an important factor! It was apparent how much effort had been put into the appearance of the cabin. Everything was of high quality, very clean and updated. Top notch. The fall peak colors were amazing and the weather perfect. There are several other cottages and I can see how it could be a busier place during prime season but for us it was serene and quiet with only one other couple occupying the cottage next door. Mike checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking. He was very sweet when he learned we had a bit of a car problem and checked to make sure we got home alright. Thanks Mike!

Enjoyed a peaceful lakeside vacation. Went ice fishing and caught a 24" walleye at night. Perfect weekend and a beautiful view of the lake.

Our stay at the Adelaide cabin was lovely. The snowy views, gorgeous fireplace and overall cleanliness made for the perfect cozy winter stay. The host was very communicative and helpful. We can’t wait to visit again!

The cabin is exactly as described in the listing. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and very well appointed. While small, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also spotless! I spent many years (more than 50!!) summering in this area but prefer Fall to the more crowded summertime now. The cabin is well situated for ANY outdoor activity, so we made the most of the area while there. We travel with our two dogs, so appreciated that the cabin is pet friendly, and the "welcome" dog biscuit was a nice touch! We hope to be back!!
