Just a plain lovely early spring getaway, feels like in the North Wood but yet right in town. Perfect for two couples, but one couple has to like bunk beds, which are great although. Nice affordable one night stop, by the lake, nice firepit and perfect with a quick trip to Ironwood MI. We called it the Gummy Bear cabin LOL. Thanks again, we will be back.

If you want a gorgeous, welcoming and private place right on Lake Superior this is the place to stay! The home was absolutely beautiful, and was incredibly cute and cozy! We felt immediately at home. There are huge beautiful windows that look down to the lake with a fire pit, chairs and a huge screened in porch with a big table to hang out and play games at. We loved absolutely everything about the place and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend! Perfect for a getaway for friends or a small family.

Great cabin and spot, close to several restaurant/bar/grills. Beautiful, quiet area on a private lake. ATV trails close by though we didn’t partake in riding the trails this trip. With any of our questions/needs, Erica and Cole were incredibly quick to respond and provide support and solutions. Plenty of space. We spent most of our time outside admiring the view and colors of the changing trees. There was a cabin on each side of us, but plenty of space and trees in between properties to still feel secluded and private. Excellent spot for our “girls weekend” and we would totally book it again.

Beautiful cabin for our Anniversary celebration with all the necessities. Weather was cold but we can had grilled meet and enjoy the view at lunch time in the porch. In the night had the warm fire and marshmallow outside, maybe next time will going in summer to enjoy the lake and the activities in the downtown. I do not give five stars often. to me five stars means perfect, and this was perfect for my wife and I. We have country dogs that need space, we like it quiet, and this gave us that. The trails, the wildlife, and the lake all give the feel that you are at your own private resort. The cabin was Goldy Locks might say, "just right."

This is a perfect, cozy ski winter cabin. The outhouse adds to the winter charm and we had a great stay (our second time actually)! Eric was super responsive, checked in on the heat situation after a cold night and gave great recommendations for hitting the local ski trails. Highly recommend this spot while also hoping it doesn't get too booked so we can return again! Thank you Eric for a great stay!

My party of 5 had a very enjoyable stay here. We felt comfortable, mostly set up with what was provided for amenities here, and loved the private/quiet space this location provided us. The screened in porch was our favorite spot to relax! Mary was pleasant to work with, responsive, and was available if needed. The surrounding area offered some good hikes and other attractions within an hour or less of driving.

We had the best time at Brian and Jessica’s cabin! I booked it very last minute, after my previous plans had fallen through. We had one small issue with the water, and Brian was on top of it immediately! By the time we got home from breakfast at Betty’s Pies, it was resolved. The space is perfect, the privacy is just what we wanted, and that fireplace. Wow. I sat in the very comfortable recliner, staring at the fire, and reading, for hours. The place is very dog friendly. It is right off of the gravel road, where people drive fast, so if your dog is a runner just be sure to keep an eye on them.

Wonderful place to stay, plenty of space (we had 6 of us stay), very clean and cabin details very well written. Unfortunately we came in the winter time for a very short time so we couldn't enjoy the lake and whatnot but hoping to come back to enjoy that soon! Only downside was the service I missed the code in the app so when we arrived I didn't know how to get into the cabin and didn't have service or wifi but was able to get a message through and get the code. Wasn't the hosts fault though, just check the check in details before you get there lol. No service is not a bad thing, especially if your going there to escape. Overall great experience, will definitely come back!

This is a very nostalgic ‘up North cabin in the woods on a peaceful lake’ place to stay. Everything was exactly as advertised and the hosts were attentive and accommodating. Worth the drive and the price was fair! I’ve stayed in other cabins on lakes before and they can sometimes be designed for a mere roof over someone’s head, but this cabin is designed and laid out in a intuitive way. Like the cabin itself has a personality to be a personal guide to your surroundings to enhance your stay above and beyond the average cabin in the woods.

Our large three-generation family group had plenty of room to comfortably spread out between the somwhat dated but clean, homey cabins. What worked out great for us was that the three families with children ages 1-12 and earlier wake up times were able to use the larger space while the smaller cabin accomodated the couples without children and allowed a bit of liesurely vacation sleep-in time. We prepared and ate our communal meals in the larger kitchen and spread beyond the big table to plentiful seating on the large deck. The view from the deck was lovely and the walk to the lake and dock easy going for all ages. We swam every day either from the sandy, pebbly entry to the water or from jumping off the dock and swimming out to the swim pad. The water was clean and relatively free of weeds close in to the dock area. The lake was peaceful and we made plenty of use of the pontoon, canoe and sit-on kayak, caught fish, and never felt crowded. Katelyn was super to work with.

Everything was clean upon arrival with secure and easy access. It was too relaxing and I could have spent many nights here. It truly was a perfect first Airbnb experience!

We had a beautiful and peaceful weekend at the cabin in the woods. We were lucky to be there for a snow day and had fun romping in the snowy woods behind the cabin, and getting cozy with beautiful snowy winter views. The one thing to consider about this place is that, while there is room for four people to sleep, the living area and kitchen are quite small and the only dining table is on the three season porch, which was too cold for us to use in February, so we had to make do. I would say the space is best for 2-3 people, depending on how cozy you want to get! Otherwise, the amenities were as promised, and the cabin was clean and an ideal northwoods stay!

Despite this being the 2nd year in a row without snow, we had a great time at this cabin! The space was perfect for our extended family. We enjoyed hiking on the trails right outside the back door. We had them all to ourselves! The fish fry at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. The pool, sauna and work out room were fabulous! I highly recommend this place.

This cabin trip had been long anticipated and we were not disappointed at all. The hosts have been so friendly, responsive and accommodating. Nothing fell short of our expectations. The cabin was just as described. They've provided everything you would need and more. My husband and I booked it to spend with our children and grandchildren and it was perfect for our group. The bunkhouse was great! Much warmer than I expected. It's great for adults, no bathroom so wouldn't recommend for children. We also loved the setup of the fire pit and the extra lighting, since it does get pretty dark at night. We loved the pool table and board games they had. The hot tub was such a great way to end the day. Loved the upstairs shower! They really do have everything ready for their guests, towels, kitchen dining items, toiletries, coffee so we had no worries. It was one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. For an Airbnb, they provided so much. We wish we had more time. Thank you so much!!

Beautiful Home! Loved the decor and style of the furnishings. The kitchen was very open and inviting. Great view of the quiet and peaceful lake. Lots of wild life to view and enjoy. Three King size beds, giant shower areas, and deck on 2nd floor were amazing. Hot tub was a huge bonus, after figuring out how to get it out of sleep mode. Not only was it adorable and beautifully decorated, it was immaculately clean and Kaity and Brett were wonderful to work with-So kind and responsive. We even added on another day to our trip because we were loving it and needing the quiet and rest away from home. The Cable area is our favorite and we will definitely be back to this wonderful place to stay.

We loved staying at Samantha's property. Communication was great, the cabin was clean and super cozy and had everything that we needed. This is a little gem up north and we would love to stay here again. The lake is beautiful and the rental comes with kayaks and other water toys. We kayaked to the local restaurant which was easy to get to and a very pretty, short paddle away. We loved sitting by the fire and they had ample firewood provided. Can't say enough about the experience!

Kevin's place was perfect in every way! The Homestead cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable and the perfect size for us. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family!
