Family-friendly vacation rentals in Iredell County

Shari is an absolute gem! She left. personal note for us (we were there under stressful circumstances) Her place is amazing. The house was not as clean as it could have been, but thst was NOT her fault! The rental agency was very responsive. Ideal layout and comfy furniture! Easy for my 80/90 year old parents to navigate. Would definitely stay again!

The house is amazing. Extremely well equipped. Amazing decks, docks etc. Great gas grill. Amazing lower level with bar and game room. All three bathrooms and showers are really nice, including outdoor shower. 😀 All of the wall hangings and niknacs are very nice and make it feel like a real home and not just a rental. I could go on and on but I only have so much space. Thanks for sharing your fabulous home. It made our sons wedding week very special!

Amber was very responsive and helpful. This house is idea for families or three couples who want to enjoy each other while having personal privacy. Spacious and comfortable! All amenities are there and working. Highly recommended!!

Two thumbs up on this lovely house. The views from the back porch were fantastic with nice open lake visible. The house is also on a cove, so a bit quieter than the main lake, but the water level off the dock was 12-14 ft so no issues with docking the boat we rented. There was a ladder for swimming and kayaks came with the house-we brought our own paddle boards. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of silverware and we were able to prepare two large meals for about 20 people with no issues. The driveway is a bit steep and long and there are stairs to navigate to get in the house and within so may be challenging if mobility an issue. The wifi was a bit slow if multiple folks using at once, but overall good for routine functions. The fire pit area was nice and well-maintained with seating for eight. Overall we loved this rental and would highly recommend.

This a great place for any reason! We were on a bachelor trip with friends and it had all of the amenities that we could have possibly needed. Outdoor grill and fireplace were great features that we used a ton, comfortable beds, huge sectional with mounted tv in living room, and privacy from neighboring houses. Lake access was great- settled into the back of a cove- we caught several fish and some of us kayaked out and reported beautiful views of the main portion of the lake. It was a great stay and would highly recommend!

It was a nice peaceful stay! I gave the entrance 3 stars because the lock box was kind of touchy to get open! We didn't arrive until late, but the porch light was on for us and a lamp inside, that was so terrific!!!

We had a lovely stay! We loved kayaking, swimming in the warm lake, and taking in the 270 degree lake views on the beautiful shaded dock. Frankie and Gordon were available, when needed, to answer any questions and give recommendations for the area. They live on the other side of the property (in a separate building) so it feels as if you have the place to yourself. Thank you for sharing your beautiful location with us.

Three of us stayed here for a month, while we were in town for work. Mooresville is a great city with a lot to do. The house was large enough for three grown men and just felt like home. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone.

Absolutely beautiful home and spot on the lake. This home provided a safe haven for me, my fur babies and family during hurricane Helene. Host was responsive and very kind. The home is in a beautiful and quiet location. I would love to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! Access was easy, accommodations were very spacious and the bed was super comfortable! We had everything we needed. Also, good restaurants within a 5 min drive

I really enjoyed my stay here! The space was perfect for me while I was in town for work, and William was a great host and made sure I had everything I needed. I would recommend this place to anyone, and definitely would love to stay here again in the future!

Our family had a wonderful weekend together here, and the house had everything we needed -- a enough room for everyone to be comfortable, a beautiful porch to take in the views, kayaks/paddle boards to get on the water, a fire pit for the evening, a great kitchen to takeover, and a table big enough for everyone to gather around for meals and games. We are so grateful!

Lisa and David were exceptional hosts. Lisa communicated with me many months prior to my father’s stay and was exceptionally kind. She went as far as to speak with me on the phone. The home was immaculate and the style was current with clean lines, plush pillows and was extremely inviting. The area in which the home is located is safe, quiet and private. Access to town (as my father cannot drive) was perfect walking distance to coffee shop, diner, restaurants, town green, library and the college campus. Perfect stay. Perfect hosts.

We had a fabulous stay at huckleberry hideout with a group of 14 girls. We had a minor toilet issue and it was able to get fixed within a few hours. The cabin was clean & the amenities were just as described.

For the C4 unit, we had a wonderful stay there as well. The only concern which didn’t affect our stay was the blinds on the main front entrance door. Some of the blinds were damaged towards the bottoms and parts of it missing. I did report it to the front office as well. We enjoyed the tiny house and all the amenities! We even got to tour some of our neighbors tiny houses. Will definitely be back! Thank you!
