Beach house vacation rentals in Inverness

Had a fantastic couple of nights. Relaxing, great views, and the property was very nice. Would definitely stay there again. Log fire was easy to use, and provided a great focal point in the sitting room.

What a fantastic holiday house. Location perfectly situated right on the beach, as described…. Step straight out of back door onto the sand (or into the water if brave enough)…. incredible views! House had all the things we needed for a family friendly, relaxing few days away from reality. Thanks also to super responsive host Alasdair who, despite being on holiday in Australia, was communicative before and during our visit. Would love to come back!

We enjoyed exceptional weather and the house was the perfect location to make the most of our surroundings. It is only a few minutes to the beach and a few beautiful walks. The area where the house is located is quiet, the house was very clean and spacious with all that was needed there.

It’s no wonder that this cottage is a guest favourite - we absolutely loved it! We were blessed with a few days of glorious weather so we were able to make good use of the rooftop terrace but we decided that even in less good weather the ever changing view from the sun lounge would have kept us happy for hours. The cottage was extremely well equipped and comfortable throughout with an exceptionally detailed information folder. We’d love to return.

Amazing location with stunning views, great for walks on the beach and surrounding areas with the dog. Lots of villages and towns within driving distance for a day out. The cottage itself is perfect for a couple (and dog), warm, cosy and homely with everything you need to make for a perfect break. Cannot recommend enough and would certainly consider the hosts other locations for our next breaks.

we had a lovely few nights at Bens pad. every we needed for a quiet relaxing time. our dog Ben enjoyed it too, especially being so close to the beachfront

Our stay at the cottage was great! It was such close proximity to Fort George and the beach which we enjoyed walking along as the sun set. It was well equipped and we so enjoyed our time.

There was everything we needed; towels, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, utensils, coffee, tea, cooking oil. The beds are very comfortable but are high. Each bedroom is spacious and very nicely decorated, with sufficient wardrobe/drawer space and lamps. There is a shower room downstairs which is great for anybody staying in the ground floor bedroom. The location was great, only metres from the beach and with plenty of street parking. Overall it’s a great place and we will be visiting again.

Home was easy to access from Inverness. There is so much to see. The town is lovely and friendly. One can walk drive or bike to see dolphins at the point. Easy walk to grocery store, pub and shops. Patricia’s home was extremely clean and welcoming. Beds were comfortable with nice linens. Kitchen was well stocked. Nice private backyard. I only wish we had planned to stay longer. There is a lot to see on the Black Isle.

This is a lovely cosy cottage in the centre of this beautiful village and a stones throw from the bay. The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay!

Had a great 3 night stay in this lovely cottage. We found it clean and tidy, with everything that we needed for our visit. Ideally located for exploring Loch Ness and Inverness, and was perfect for for relaxing after busy days. Would highly recommend

Another wonderful stay at St Trinneans. Plenty of room for 3 generations of our family - 7 in all. We've stayed her a few times now and Karen is always easy to contact and very friendly to deal with. The property is clean, comfortable and cosy with wonderful views. Thoroughly recommend and I'm sure we will be back before too long. Thanks again Karen.

We booked the lodge for Christmas 2024 to spend the week there as a family of 9 adult, 4 kids and the dogs and I have to say it totally exceeded our expectations. We had a magical time there and created memories for the lifetime. The house is stunning and so big - even bigger and nicer than on the pictures. Everyone had nice quite comfortable nights sleep. The host was extremely helpful answering all our questions, decorated the house for Christmas and left so many toys for the kids. Highly recommended!

Mark is a great host and our employees couldn't have been happier with their stay at Marks home whilst working away. Mark is extremely helpful and responsive to messages and thankfully was able to extend our stay as our job over ran the length of time expected. Extra cleans & bedding changes were completed promptly and nothing was too much a bother :)

We loved our stay in The Millie. The house is just beautiful and it felt like home for the week. There was everything we needed for a great Christmas stay for two families, the house was warm and cozy and with enough space for everyone.

The house was fabulous. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very much at home there. It has everything you need and is in a great location. Gillian was a very helpful responsive host and we would definitely stay there again.

We had an amazing Monday - Saturday stay at this beautiful cottage. Claire was so helpful and responsive in all contact. The beds were so comfortable with the cottage containing everything you need. A lovely touch was a milk in the fridge for us after a very long journey up from Cheshire! Fortrose was the perfect location for the places we wanted to visit. We are already planning a next visit and hope to stay in this beautiful cottage again!

Beautiful house- well equipped and comfortable. Close to the Bakery and the village shop. It had a lovely enclosed patio which made it very dog friendly. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Lovely stay for the Easter weekend. The local beach is beautiful and Wendy was super responsive and helpful/ flexible with time of arrival. We also got a lovely little hamper on arrival (milk in the fridge, and some local goodies) which was enormously appreciated after a long drive.

We spent our Christmas here and it was magical. Lindsay provided us with everything we need which includes a lovely decorated Christmas tree. The rooms were clean and very well presented, the kitchen was more than fully equipped and all bathrooms were spotless. The outside was even better with the sea, the beach and the woods. We will definitely come back to this house again!
