Wow wow wow, what an amazing place to stay. Stunning house, stunning location. The attention to detail was fantastic, Philippa and Andrew were so approachable, friendly and helpful and they helped to make our stay comfortable. The house was spotless and full of everything we needed. Our children are already asking how soon we can come and visit again. The hot tub was ready for our arrival and the view were gorgeous, what a gem of a find. Very much looking forward to returning to Yoredale House, Thankyou for having us!

Would highly recommend! Kay was a fantastic host, instructions were sent a few days before we set off and was simple to find/get in. The property was spotless, had everything we needed and was right in the centre of Windermere so the perfect location for the shops and restaurants. Our stay couldn’t have been better :)

We spent only one night at Naomi’s place, arriving very late after a family event, but it was a pleasant overnight stay with super comfortable beds and a great shower in the morning. I left a necklace behind and Naomi and Darren kindly looked for it and sent it to me by registered post, for which I am very grateful.

Excellent property, very clean and Dan was always at the end of the phone for anything we required, including recommendations for the family trip. Highly recommended.

The house was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. We had a fantastic stay, it's very close to a large park where we had lovely sunny walks. The location was perfect for us as it's very close to where my sister lives and also lots of shops and a great cafe (Mediterranean Cafe) very close. Heather was really helpful and responsive and had all we needed to stay very comfortably with our 7 month old baby. We would come back here in a heartbeat as it was such a great experience. The place was amazing and Heather and Brian were very helpful and just lovely people. The house is in a gorgeous location and the summer house overlooks a wonderful view. There's plenty of good hikes around and places to eat, I wish we had stayed longer!

Beautiful place with beautiful surroundings. Lodge was clean and ready for when we arrived, delicious restaurant on site too. Went as a couple for a celebration- would definitely recommend

Denise was extremely helpful and approachable. She took the time to send a few messages to ensure we were clear on check in. Denise welcomed us and showed us to the lodge. The lodge was super clean, well equipped and Denise even supplied the basic condiments, tea, coffee, juice, milk with some welcome biscuits thrown in! The lodge was also dog friendly. The kids loved their bed room and we were all very comfortable. We had a great stay and the lodge more than met our needs. We plan to return.

Lovely stay, shepherds hut was well equipped and had all you needed and was nice and cosy inside… outdoor space was also great and we loved the hot tub and bbq facilities which were provided. Gillan was a great host and showed us around, but privacy was not invaded which we liked. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Beautiful little cabin surrounded by stunning scenery, with many great places to visit within a short driving distance. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Andy provided lots of useful information and tips regarding the local area. We'll definitely be coming back again!

This was a very special place to stay. The description doesn’t do it justice! It is spacious, well equipped and has lots of extras! We had an electric issue but it was sorted very quickly which we were amazed by as it was a bank holiday weekend. The neighbours were super friendly and even changed our flat tyre.

Amazing stay for my birthday! Me, my wife, our four best friends and our dog had the absolute best time! The lodge is so much bigger than what can be seen in the pictures, it really is a dream holiday home! Thankyou so much to the host for hosting such a lovely space and being great communicating from start to finish! We can’t wait to come back!

Martins place was perfect for us as our grandson lives in Kendal, so we could have him to stay as a little holiday at half term but was close enough to his parents to commute if needed. We found everything we needed there, home from home and the communication from Martin was excellent. Don’t hesitate to stay there. Thank you.

Great place to stay - some nice restaurants and pubs We used it to commute down to aintree in Liverpool, train was around 45 mins. Comfy space, easy to find and was perfect for what we needed

Another last minute booking whilst on the road. Sue responded immediately and all of her directions were crystal clear. Sue even left a few things in the fridge to help me out which was appreciated. Great place, private parking with virtually an onsite security guard! If I’m ever in the area again will be sure to book!

We are first time visitors in Skipton and glad we stayed with Mel and Jason's place. It was near to the place we were meeting with friends so that comes handy with us getting uber to and from the place. We were out much of the day so it's just nice to come home to a cozy place. Mel and Jason were responsive and timely with their reminders. They also offered some bread, eggs and butter which was thoughtful.

We've just returned from a short stay at my happy hounds. Our glamping pod Hugo was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless considering these are dog friendly. The welcome pack was also a nice touch with all quality items. We have 2 dogs one that is very nervous, he settled in well as it was peaceful and private and having ample space for them to run and play at the pod and the secure dog fields, these are a great facility for anyone traveling with a dog. It's only a short drive to find local amenities and finding my happy hounds was easy with Google maps being accurate. The communication from Harry was excellent with plenty of information and help if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already started talking of booking again for the future. I highly recommend this beautiful house in a quiet and peaceful location. Jill was an excellent host, helpful and informative and the house was spotlessly clean with excellent amenities. The surrounding fields had newborn lambs and free range chickens which added to the atmosphere. if you come across this property when looking for a place to stay, look no further and book it immediately.

I stayed with my two sons just for the night. It was stylish and comfortable. There wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t provided.

Great host and fantastic location for both the supermarket and the hills.
