A truly amazing place - fantastic location, awesome views, very cozy interiors and an incredibly helpful host..True perfection! Nearby Wilderness hotel provides ample possibilities for activities (and a bar) so that, despite being VERY remote, there is the possibility for interaction… THANK YOU !

Everything was fantastic! We even saw aurora lights from jacuzzi... It was awesome.

Very helpful host. Guided all possible things to be taken tare or to know before we reach there. The cottage is located located bit far from city locality, so a perfect place if you are looking for a calm peaceful vacation. Just a 100/200 meters walk - and you could stand beside the lake. Or take a walk in the trails of woods. Look through the windows - eyes will go beyond the horizon. Serenity is all around the place. Talking about the cottage, its supper equipped with almost everything that one could need to enjoy the stay. Specially the kitchen - you find every single thing for your cooking need. Loved it! Living rooms and bedrooms were very clean and tidy. Comfortable living room furnitures to relax with family or friends with a cup of coffee or even with drinks. Mobile network connectivity was excellent. Special thing to mention about the cottage location from our opinion is about northern lights. The cottage is situated probably best to enjoy northern light during the winter.

This is a beautiful house in a stunning scenery with breathtaking views across the river Teno. The design of the house is tasteful, and it also has its cozy spots. It’s a great place to withdraw from the stresses of hectic city life for a vacation. The sauna and its stove are world-class. Communication with Janne was quick and effective! As one of the previous reviewers commented, the kitchen was not as clean as it should be when we arrived. Apart from that, everything was great!!

The space was very clean and very easy to access. Parking with a private location is located right next to the property. The accommodation is very nice, very pretty inside and especially very clean. A hot tub is available in the shower but we didn't get a chance to use it. We highly recommend this place for a great time.

Great location central to everything

We had a fantastic experience at this cabin. The property was exactly as described, and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we appreciated how well-maintained it was. Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a serene, picturesque location!

We were royalized by Petteri. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped for two people. When we arrived, the fridge was already filled with enough to make us a big breakfast. Petteri was full of tips, attention, and stories. He cooked us a pretty exceptional meal. And most importantly, he had all the right tips to catch northern lights. And to tell the truth, we were lucky, we saw the most beautiful from our garden. Very recommended, especially if you are motorized and want to avoid large resorts.

Nice cottage with complete equipment. Inside it was warm and cozy. The cabin is located near the Kaunispä hill, from where we managed to see the aurora borealis. In the cottage there is also a private sauna. The owner gave us detailed instructions, so we had no problems. We highly recommend it if someone like us tries to travel as much as possible on a budget 😌

We spent one night. It was fine. The accommodation had everything you needed. The bathroom had a nice and new renovation. Thank you so much to the hospitable hosts!

Its a good place to relax enjoy nature.

Charming and well-maintained accommodation in a very quiet location. Very friendly and helpful service, everything went smoothly. In the winter, it's a good idea to rent a snowmobile and head to Inari for ice fishing, you can rent a snowmobile from the host, and the fishing tips come to the store:)

Lovely place, value for money. In Utsjoki amidst the magnificent nature, great friendly hosts. the cottage has everything you need, the washing water and sauna warm up neatly with electricity, the water can be picked up from the opening in the winter. the water of the lake is drinkable and good. Gated area so wonderfully safe with a dog. This wasn't the first, and certainly not the last time at the Utsjoki cottage, our favorite place!

I stayed at Joris cabin over Christmas. I had a great time. The cabin is simple but well equipted. During my stay the Hotel seemed fully booked, however I never heard the neighbouring guests and felt the cabin was well isolated. I enjoyed the atmosphere during winter. I saw a reindeer walk aross my window christmas morning which was a nice bonus. Jori was also very communicative and a friendly host. Hope to visit again :)

The cotttage was nice and cosy. It is 5 minutes drige to the ski slope or you can take the ski bus. The kitchen is will stacked, the bathroom is clean and a souna is a big plus. There is a lake nearby, perfect for aurora hunting!
