Vacation rentals in Illinois river

We had a great time at this cozy cabin. Even though it was a cold weekend, we got to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake while hanging out in the hot tub. We will be returning!

We had a lovely time. The amenities were great, beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a peaceful weekend. The location was private and beautiful, and it was nice to be able to see deer snacking nearby. We would definitely return!

Scott's lake oasis was just that. This house felt like home. It felt like we were at a relatives home. There are pics of the family all throughout the home which felt comfortable. Every time I messaged host he was super responsive and trust me I had a lot of questions lol. We loved the hot tub and this home had the absolute best view of the water. I hope we get to go here at least twice per year. Scott is a great host and goes above and beyond to make you comfortable.

The place was more beautiful than the pictures! I was very surprised by how private it was - it didn't seem like it was in a neighborhood! Oklahoma was very 'Oklahoma in April' while we were there - it rained a lot of the time, but there was plenty to do inside! So much room and such a great hostess! Amanda was very responsive and solicitous. I have no reservations in recommending this place 100%!!

We had a wonderful time! Kelly was so helpful with making sure our Easter weekend was special. She made an extra effort to provide us with updates on all the community events. There were lots of changes due to weather. We enjoyed the porch fireplace all weekend. There was plenty of space for all of us. We took walks and the kids rode their bikes in a safe environment. I can’t wait to return to her beautiful home.

One of the cleanest and homiest air b&bs we have stayed at. Decorated beautifully, pristine bathroom, and the thoughtful touches made our stay even better. Amazing baked goods from a local bakery (that we also made another stop at because it was that good), a thank you card, coffee, waffles, bottled water. It was all so appreciated. My kiddo loved the game closet and the extra blankets made for great snuggles. The large back yard with the solar lights was also a nice touch. Will definitely stay here again!

Larry & Joan’s cabin is much more than what the pictures show! The view is breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. Private, clean, beautiful and cozy! The cabin has three floors and in each floor you will find literally everything you might need. The kitchen is fully equipped. We had all we needed to cook our Christmas dinner… pots, pans, bowls and ALL appliances you can think of. The lake is extremely close, truly a 2min walk. We got to watch birds by the lake side. The only thing I would add to our stay was at least two more days lol. We will definitely plan to be back soon. Thank you Larry & Joan for hosting us with such a high standard.
