We had a lovely stay with family in this villa, welcoming with its refined decoration, beautiful garden and beautiful size swimming pool. The plancha and the sheltered terrace are ideal for summer meals.

Sandy is an awesome Host. We fell in love with the House the second we arrived. Very clean everything as it is on the Pictures. We felt like at home. I recommend the House for everyone. We will definitely come back. Thank you Sandy for everything. Was a pleasure to stay with you.

We had a pleasant stay in this house with exceptional services (the house has quality amenities). An owner takes great care of his hosts. The accommodation is close to the port beach, shops and market. Everything is there for a dream vacation.

We stayed 19-22 Sept. Stunning home in the most beautiful location and within short walking or cycling distance to La Flotte harbour where there are beautiful restaurants and shops. Also close to Saint-Martin de re another beautiful harbour/port with more restaurants and bars. Lovely buzz to both villages/ports. House was spacious and tastefully furnished in keeping with the location. It had everything we needed and more, very clean, top end appliances and plenty of facilities for dining in and entertaining. Garden is stunning and well maintained making time outdoors very enjoyable and relaxing. Heated Pool and parking available too. The host Isabelle was wonderful - very friendly, responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Merci beaucoup and can’t wait to return. Kind regards Ray and Elaine

Fantastic holiday, stunning villa and really well equipped. We loved the pool and bbq was great too. Excellent location with easy access on bike to Saint Martin de Ré and also great beaches like Gros Joncs. Sad to leave!

We had a fantastic week as a family of 10, ranging in age 83 to 16. The space was absolutely perfect for us to spend time together in the lounge and around the swimming pool. Not many places are this close to a beautiful sandy beach with les halles less than 5 mins away by cycle. We loved Les Bois en Plage and highly recommend it for everything it has to offer. A special thanks to Emmanuelle for being such a responsive and considerate host...answering so many of our questions!

We all enjoyed your beautiful house. We appreciated the artistic style of the place and the relaxed feel of somewhere that is loved very much. We appreciated the design of the place and the inside and outside spaces, the generous amount of wonderful kitchen equipment, the games cupboard, the dartboard, and most of all the wonderful swimming pool was really enjoyed by everyone. We enjoyed the location very much. Being able to easily walk to the daily market, to the beach or to cafe's and restaurants lent joy and ease to our stay. Thank you very much we would love to come back again .

We spent 3 great days at Lionel's for Christmas. A really nice place even in winter. The whole family felt very comfortable and we were able to enjoy each other without stepping on each other's toes! Quality services with a spirit of simplicity so pleasant to experience! Thank you!

We had a great Christmas at the villa. This house is amazing. Very warm, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We highly recommend it.

The property is amazing - very spacious and well-appointed and furnished. The pool was a great addition. It was in a calm and peaceful location (easier to find from Google Maps vs Apple Maps) although it was still 2 minutes away from a major supermarket. The two fridges and freezer and ample storage made it easy to sort our things considering we were a few different families there. The check-in and check-out process was amazingly flexible. 10/10

Great house. Highly recommended. The privacy is top. Unseen courtyard with a very well-maintained pool. The host is very eager and also responds to individual questions or requests. We used the towel service to not have to take it with us. Great.

Very nice house with all the essentials to have a good time the bedrooms and bedding are spotless as well as the choice of pillows unfortunately we couldn't use the pool because of the weather only small downside 1 single bathroom for 4 bedrooms the rest was perfect if needed we'll be back with pleasure

Thanks again to Sylvette and Michel for this great week in Vert Bois Oleron The house is as described and very equipped , no lack to report The pool is delicious like the garden ,you feel quiet and privacy . The location is perfect access to the green wood beach, where we were able to do surfing courses By bike , via bike path in the immediate vicinity, there are 15 minutes -20 minutes with children , to the center of Dolus-d'Oléron St Trojan, or the cotton plant which are charming . Super U or Intermarché 5- 10 minute drive for shopping A great location We'll be back! Thanks again to Sylvette and Michel for the responsiveness . See you soon

Very pleasant stay. The villa was perfect for our WE. We will return without hesitation.

A wonderful place to take a big family holiday. Lots of space in the house and it had a really unique design and feel that made it comfortable and stylish. The outside space was perfect with multiple seating and dining areas along with a fantastic pool which children and adults all enjoyed thoroughly. It's not often you can please everyone but all our family where seriously impressed. The local area is very local, so off the beaten track for most Brits which made it even more enjoyable. We would all stay again thats for sure.
