Vacation rentals in Iberia Parish

This spot was perfect for us - family of adults with children - to visit with family in New Iberia that live about a block from this Airbnb. There were enough private spaces for each of us to have our own rooms, the beds were comfy enough, and the space was just as described. That said, Center St is loud - cars with loud stereo systems, the train runs several times a day, and there are some interesting characters around. It was fine for us, because our family lives down the road, but just a PSA for anyone that might not need to stay in downtown New Iberia. Lane was a great host, very helpful and responsive. The AC seems a bit weak, and that’s speaking for December in Louisiana. I’d be hesitant about how well it can cool off the place during the summer. It seemed like the temp on the thermostat wasn’t accurate to what it felt like in the place. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

Really helpful host that helped us get the max out of the stay. Cosy place in older southern Louisiana style, we enjoyed it a lot. Two bathrooms make things a lot easier if you are more people at the same time. All in all a really good stay.

Renting from Maria is great. She was quick to respond to any messages. The house is in a great location; there is a short drive to many stores in Broussard and Lafayette. I did take advice from another review to put table cloths over the windows for more privacy. Overall, it was a great experience and I would rent from Maria again. Thank you!

Amazing stay for my family of four. The interior was sparkling clean and very comfortable. We even had homemade cookies upon our arrival! Beds were great - I slept SO well. The outdoor area was incredible and my boys - ages 2 and 6 - had a blast. One of them even cried when we left because he loved it so much! Lance was extremely friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at The Sugar Shack ! The house was great, just as advertised and described. In particular, the restroom/shower connected to the main bedroom was awesome, especially for anyone dealing with mobility issues (walk-in shower was fantastic). The house was beautifully decorated. The decorations/theme were lovely, and caught the attention of the visitors/family that came by to visit during our stay. Also, the back patio was awesome, and just so relaxing in the morning when we sat out back to drink our coffee. The house was a great find for us as we were searching for a house in the area for someone with mobility issues (my mother in our case). But with so few handicap-accessible options in the area, The Sugar Shack was lovely, and just such a great fit for us! Jessica was a great host. She was considerate as to why we came in to town (funeral), and checked in to make sure things were going well. Communications, check-in & check-out were super easy & clear. Thanks Jessica!

Had a great stay at Byron and Tonya’s place. Large fenced pet friendly yard. Great accommodations. We look forward to visiting again!
