Vacation rentals with lake access in Hudson County

It's always a pleasure staying with Maria. She's a very thoughtful and attentive host. This is my second stay at Maria's and already booked a third stay. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Sitting in the large swivel chair and staring out the French Doors in the morning and in the evening is a delight, the backyard is like it's own little forest. I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay with convenient parking and a warm welcoming host.

Yira’s place was absolutely beautiful!!! Such a good vibe. Yira was an amazing host. I’ve stayed at plenty Airbnbs and I’ve never had a host treat me the way she did. She offered to drive us to a few stops to save us money for paying for uber. She was very responsive. We ran out of tissue and in less than 5 mins she had plenty to share with us. Anything we needed she supplied. She’s super friendly and did all she could to make our stay a pleasant one. The place was simply beautiful and nicely decorated. Love love love Yira and her beautiful place!!

I stopped at Lily’s house for 3 nights as a female solo traveller. It was my first time visiting NYC and Lily was super helpful! On the first morning, she walked to the bus stop with me, and made sure I knew which bus to get to get to and from Manhattan. She was super hospitable, really made you feel at home. The room was very clean and spacious, the bathroom was always clean with fresh towels etc, and the home is beautiful! The area of Leonia is a lovely suberb, very peaceful and tranquil. Location wise - it takes around 35/40 minutes to reach Manhattan, and the bus stop is a 5 minute walk down the road. I would absolutely stay with Lily again if I came back to NYC. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

This is truly a home away from home! Louis's listing was very accurate. My cousin and mother stayed here twice before and raved about it, so it was a no-brainer when we needed to come to New Jersey at the last minute to help my ailing aunt. I literally had no complaints! I felt safe and the location was great (ask anybody who is from Jersey lol). The room and bathroom were super clean, which can be hard to find at times. Louis was very responsive and all around nice. You can tell that he and his wife really take care of their home and want all of their guests to feel like family. He literally went above and beyond for us during a difficult time. I will always stay at Louis' place anytime I have to come to New Jersey especially since he has another space that can accommodate more guests.

First and foremost, Diony is great. His communication before, during and after the stay were great. The location for us was perfect because we have family that didn't live to far away in the Bronx, but it's also a great location if you want to go to Manhattan using the ferry which is an easy 10 minutes walk away. An Uber to Manhattan at 9AM only took us about 45 minutes, so it's close to drive too. The home is a shared home with people living above an below you, and yes you can hear them walking about you, but it's nothing you won't get in a hotel. The home is spotless. Very clean kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. It has everything you need. The second bedroom bed is a little soft, but my wife didn't mind it. Also the second bathroom is small, but no issues. Parking is tough in the area. If you get home late you could be looking for a bit, but that is NYC. Also, planes will be flying low over the house every couple of minutes. Not an issue for us, but you'll hear them.

I want to thank you Luis for hosting me and my family this past weekend for Thanksgiving. It was perfect. I will definitely book again.

Halima and Maya are excellent guests. We enjoyed the days we spent in their house. Very clean and warm. We locked ourselves out by accident. Halima helped us providing a spair key promptly. We are very thankful. We will certainly return if we need to.

We enjoyed a lot our stay in Veronica’s place. Veronica is very friendly and helpful, Daisy also 😸. Very nice room and simple to get there. Only 25/30min to Manatthan by subway. It’s a great place to stay.

Extremely cute studio, I stayed with my 2 adult daughters for 2 days, price was very good and we would definitely book again next time we are in that area in need of a place

I cannot say enough good things about Michael. He was absolutely the best host I have ever had! Michael was super helpful, detail oriented and provided a thorough recommendation list in the area. The place was everything I expected and more. It was the perfect location with all the amenities that I needed. The house felt fresh, new and very cozy. It is exactly what I was looking for and I will definitely rent from Michael again if I am visiting the area.

If you want a romantic long weekend with tons to do, in any season... this is the spot! The stone patio and stone water's edge is one of a kind! With its own Bald Eagle!! Tony, I borrowed a few extra logs of wood! We will definitely be back if you'll have us!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience!! The house itself was incredible, amazing amenities, gorgeous fireplace, warm and lovely sounding piano, comfortable couch and bed, beautiful views, the list just goes on and on. What made this experience even better was the interactions with the hosts. John and Evelina were wonderful to work with throughout this entire process. They were very accommodating, friendly, and it felt like talking to people we've been friends with for years. My wife and I plan to return to this beautiful property in the warmer weather to take advantage of the easy access to the lake. And we plan to bring friends along with us, to introduce them to the property as well. I'm sure this will be a location we repeat multiple times being that we're considering this our new 'lakehouse getaway' spot. John and Evelina, we really can't thank you both enough for a truly wonderful time. It has been an absolute privilege.

Barbara's lovely home is well-appointed with a nice back deck and yard. It would be ideal for a couples get-away, especially in the warmer months. And you couldn't ask for a better host! She even brought in a recliner to help an elderly guest be comfortable. We had no complaints other than the furnace is a bit loud, but we wouldn't want to do without it in November.

This property was very clean on the inside and displayed exactly as the pictures showed. The security cameras on the outside were a nice touch of safety and much appreciated when staying in the woods. The streets and driveway leading up to the house were narrow and steep and took some getting used to. All around a great experience and look forward to returning!

What a perfect stay! This AirBnb is a true gem, one of the best I have ever stayed at. Emily accommodated our late-night arrival and was kind enough to set up the pullout coach as a bed for when we arrived. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked. The fireplace was AMAZING and we loved hearing the chickens in the morning. The town of Bedford is within walking distance and very cute. The only thing I would mention about the area is that it is difficult to rely on only Ubers for transportation - so we will rent a car next time. Overall we had a truly wonderful stay.
