Vacation rentals with lake access in Hudson County

It's always a pleasure staying with Maria. She's a very thoughtful and attentive host. This is my second stay at Maria's and already booked a third stay. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Sitting in the large swivel chair and staring out the French Doors in the morning and in the evening is a delight, the backyard is like it's own little forest. I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay with convenient parking and a warm welcoming host.

I loved this accommodation, from the cleanliness to the comfort you feel, the neighborhood is super quiet and Yira made my trip very welcoming, I would definitely come back!!

I stopped at Lily’s house for 3 nights as a female solo traveller. It was my first time visiting NYC and Lily was super helpful! On the first morning, she walked to the bus stop with me, and made sure I knew which bus to get to get to and from Manhattan. She was super hospitable, really made you feel at home. The room was very clean and spacious, the bathroom was always clean with fresh towels etc, and the home is beautiful! The area of Leonia is a lovely suberb, very peaceful and tranquil. Location wise - it takes around 35/40 minutes to reach Manhattan, and the bus stop is a 5 minute walk down the road. I would absolutely stay with Lily again if I came back to NYC. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Very nice place / clean place

This is truly a home away from home! Louis's listing was very accurate. My cousin and mother stayed here twice before and raved about it, so it was a no-brainer when we needed to come to New Jersey at the last minute to help my ailing aunt. I literally had no complaints! I felt safe and the location was great (ask anybody who is from Jersey lol). The room and bathroom were super clean, which can be hard to find at times. Louis was very responsive and all around nice. You can tell that he and his wife really take care of their home and want all of their guests to feel like family. He literally went above and beyond for us during a difficult time. I will always stay at Louis' place anytime I have to come to New Jersey especially since he has another space that can accommodate more guests.

it's a lovely and peaceful apartment, with easy-access location in New Jersey about 40 minutes away from Manhattan. Down th apartment is Hudson river. Please walk there and enjoy the charming sea winds.

Everything was perfect in the house; the best part was staying with our dogs. We found everything clean and the parking in the building was awesome.

Stayed at the house for 3days and I loved. Host was very responsive, would definitely stay at his house again.

So grateful for this peaceful haven in Brooklyn. Veronica was a warm, welcoming - but never intrusive - host. Where to begin with how great this stay was? There's a small, beautiful, sweet cat who was a joy to come home to. Easy access to transport, spotlessly clean amenities, ultra dreamy mattress and warm covers. The guest room is overlooking the Q train, so if you're sensitive to nighttime noise, ear plugs would help.

Booked with plans to travel to NYC, it was very convenient to stay here. It is located on a quiet street and I was able to sleep peacefully. Having fast internet to work from home is also a plus. Host was great and helped me with parking. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Michael. He was absolutely the best host I have ever had! Michael was super helpful, detail oriented and provided a thorough recommendation list in the area. The place was everything I expected and more. It was the perfect location with all the amenities that I needed. The house felt fresh, new and very cozy. It is exactly what I was looking for and I will definitely rent from Michael again if I am visiting the area.

This was our second stay at this charming Greenwood Lake cottage, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The private, cozy setting and beautiful views make it the perfect escape. The house is adorable, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We especially loved the fireplace and beautiful scenery as the snow fell during our trip this time! The host is incredibly responsive, thoughtful and made our stay seamless as always. We truly love this place and can’t wait to come back again!

THE home in the country I've always dreamed of! No need to leave this house to feel like you're on vacation- everything is here. This place would be great to stay in during any month of the year. Amazing views from every window coupled with all kinds of interesting collectibles, books, toys and furniture inside. Super comfy beds. Doting hosts that make you feel pampered while simultaneously being unobtrusive. Perfect getaway for our very small family!

We loved the view out to the lake, which was different every day and throughout the day. The open layout of the house is great to enjoy the views, and if the weather is nice, there are great sitting areas outside as well. The house is well-stocked and cozy. The hosts are friendly and always responsive. There are also great parks to visit nearby. We had a great winter weekend and would love to stay again.

Barbara's lovely home is well-appointed with a nice back deck and yard. It would be ideal for a couples get-away, especially in the warmer months. And you couldn't ask for a better host! She even brought in a recliner to help an elderly guest be comfortable. We had no complaints other than the furnace is a bit loud, but we wouldn't want to do without it in November.

We had an amazing stay! The hosts were incredibly responsive and thoughtful. I asked for butcher recommendations, and they suggested Country Grocery, which was perfect. Cooking dinner was the highlight of our trip—the kitchen and living room setup was great and offered spectacular views. We were welcomed with a note, coffee grinds and a sweet treat, which was such a lovely touch. The bedroom was cozy, the bathroom was spotless, and we loved the guestbook where we read about past guests' experiences and added our own. We met the host during checkout, and he was so kind and welcoming. Overall, this was a nice experience, and we’d definitely recommend it!
