Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Howe Sound

Our family really enjoyed Dawna’s place. It was just like the photos and the house included way more than we anticipated. It was very roomy, comfortable, and clean. It was great having a parking for the car as well. We were in town for activities in downtown, but it was a very easy drive everywhere and the house is extremely close to the airport. Dawna is also very communicative. I would recommend to anyone visiting Vancouver.

We had a fantastic stay at Edward & Heather's place— even better than the pictures! The home was impeccably clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Extra linens were readily available, and the location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants nearby. It truly felt like a home away from home! Thank you, Edward & Heather! We look forward to returning!

TL,DR: A cozy century home that's been thoughtfully renovated to fit modern living standards. While I already know that Kitsilano was one of the best neighbourhoods to stay in Vancouver, I was pleasantly surprised by this property and how nice it was as a home away from home. You can tell that this place is lived in and many of the improvements are what I would do to my own house. The property is also very generously spaced and fit our large party which included kids. I cannot rave enough about the amenities that the owners have thoughtfully included, which made our stay that much more pleasant. The basement was full of kids toys and kept my toddler entertained during the time we were staying in. Overall, if you have a big party (with or without children), I'd highly recommend this property.

Great place! Fantastic views, sparkling clean, comfortable beds/pillows and lots of nice touches (eg. Coffee pods, spices, instant oats, lots of towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash wash). Very walkable area. Sohee is very friendly and responsive, and provides very clear and detailed instructions. Recommend staying here!

Had to cut our trip short due to my son still feeling unwell & being home sick. Location was great Costco was close, supermarket, shopping center, tons of dinning option & transportation! View was great!

Very convenient location and amazing city views from the 33rd floor! The apartment was clean and well stocked in the kitchen and washrooms. The pool and fitness center on the 2nd floor was a nice perk. As expected with a downtown location there is some city noise like sirens and the Skytrain, but earplugs work fine at night. We would stay here again when in the mood for a downtown location!

We had a wonderful stay. Vanessa and Leighton were very helpful and responsive to questions or needs. The suite is beautifully decorated. It is very comfortable and feels like home.

An older home with lots of character...it exceeded our expectations! Well maintained and very spacious. Lots of room for guests to mingle or to find a quiet spot of their own. Our group of 7 women appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, the comfy beds and the many bathrooms. And it was good fun having "our own" indoor, heated pool and hot tub. Located in the middle of the island, the property provided a great home base from which to explore Gabriola. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Janie's place to friends and family, and I hope to return someday soon.

Toren is very responsive and easy to work with when you have any questions. Place is super close to BC Stadium and would stay there again if we travel back. Pool and sauna were an added bonus!

Jane’s place is a beautiful wooded property, very quiet, nicely decorated and we had all we needed. While it is a tiny home it is well laid out and we were cozy and warm even in late Dec. The separate bathhouse was very spacious and the heated floors made the temperature very comfortable. Jane was very helpful and responsive to our questions. We enjoyed our stay!

The host was very kind and quick to respond to our requests. The interior, kitchen and bedrooms were clean and wonderful.

this was our second stay, this time with our dog. we really like Andrew's place. it is so unique and charming and the neighborhood is very nice and quiet. it is close to most of our family and we would absolutely stay again

Jennifer and Steve were amazing hosts. They answered all of our questions and were very friendly! The place was perfect and a great view of the water and so cozy! Everything they had on the listing was provided! Was perfect for a getaway on Bowen Island!

Jenny was a fantastic host—easy to contact, highly responsive, and eager to help who goes above and beyond! Her welcome book was incredibly well-organized, packed with recommendations for restaurants, hikes, and local activities and even all the manuals for each appliance. Her tiny home was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We loved the hot tub, fire pit and the cute bar overlooking the mountains. Her house was stocked with about everything you could need and more—games, extra blankets, kitchen essentials+, bathroom essentials+, hair dryer, straightener, paper to help start the fire marshmallow sticks, house slippers and so much more with so many thoughtful touches. There were even cute, helpful notes around the space to make everything easier. You can tell Jenny puts so much care and attention into every detail, ensuring her guests feel right at home. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back!

What a lovely BNB. I would definitely stay here next time in Vancouver. I felt safe. It was quiet.Spotless. The location was incredible.Lovely little villages in the area with food and shopping.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cheryl's place! The space was huge, but also super cozy. The garden that the suite overlooks is beautiful and peaceful. There is ample outdoor seating as well. We both work remotely and needed a place to work while also being able to enjoy what the Sunshine Coast has to offer. Cheryl's place was absolutely perfect for this. We will definitely be staying here again when we're in the area.
