Wonderful place tucked away by a lake. Very cosy and has everything you need. If you visit in winter the road can get slippery so make sure you are well prepared!

Eva not say enough about this beautiful house. The location was picturesque and tranquil, we enjoyed sipping our nespresso looking at the view. There was more than enough space for two families, even though we were only three. We had a sauna every day and were lucky to have some snow. The beds were heavenly, we slept in every day. We did some skiing at Panorama Vradal right down the road. Kiki was super responsive in helping us figure things out. Her place is perfect for rest and relaxation. We will be back!!

We were 5 people staying in the house in August. It’s a beautiful house as described with a great view over the lake. The information center for the national park is only a 2 minutes walk away. Nevertheless, the spot is private and very quite, perfect for a relaxing time. It’s a great spot for activities like hiking various trails nearby or visiting the national park. We were really impressed by the spectacular nature. The house was clean and had all amenities making our stay a great experience. Check-in was easy and very flexible. Stein-Arve was a very helpful and responsive hosts, providing us with many information on possible activities. We can really recommend the house for a stay in the area.

The house is situated on a beautiful plot of land adjacent to the lake, within a short walk of the nearest ski lift in winter and right next to fishing in summer. Theres plenty of parking and large space for entertainment. The host is friendly and swift to reply and address questions. Theres everything in the kitchen needed to cater for meals, the entertainment room is great for some inside chillax, and the jacuzzi was a highlight for both kids and adults.

Very cozy and well-functioning cabin with extremely good location for alpine slopes and cross-country skiing (200 meters). Øystein always responded quickly. I only have great recommendations.

Very nice cabin—modern, clean, and equipped with everything one might need. Perfect location right by the slopes, making it ideal for skiing. Mr. Ulf is very kind, helpful, and communicates easily. We would love to travel here again 🙂

It was our second holiday in Rauland and we felt very comfortable in Richard and Monica's house again. We were lucky with the weather. Every day we could enjoy the view of the fascinating mountains from the large terrace. The house is very cosy and the perfect place to relax after a ski tour. Richard and Monica are wonderful hosts and always very helpful. The central location of the house is ideal for winter sports and excursions in the surrounding area. We made it to the highest mountain Gaustatoppen this time and it was a great experience. Rauland is always worth a visit and we would love to come back.

Great stay at Rauland, a little bit colder than the rest of south Norway, but central towards many interesting spots around. Good communicating and friendly host.

We had the most wonderful week with children, grandchildren and mother-in-law in this absolutely unique and for an architect's exciting house - an original Norwegian log cabin with super comfortable furniture, beds and well equipped with all kitchen equipment, firewood, games, TV and internet. The cabin was secluded a little by itself overlooking the beautiful Brokke mountain and over the cabin area, which we enjoyed from the porch around the fire pit, We could walk/stand skiing to the ski place, which also meets all our needs. We give the cabin, Bente and Tor-Olav our best recommendations and would like to come again - not least to also experience the place in the summer. Only downside was that we had to wear snow chains 500 meters before the cabin. We were not prepared for the driveway to be so steep. We later found that it is easier to drive a little further on the big road, and first drive into the cabin area from the driveway just across from Brokke-Alpincenter. In the cabin, there is gravel to spread out, but we only found out later. Thank you very much for the loan: -)

Silje's cottage was light, spacious and cozy. We were a family of four and had plenty of room. The cottage was close to connecting ski slope, maybe 30 m to walk. Stunning views from the livingroom/ kitchen. Recommend the place both winter and summertime.

Great newer cabin that was warm when we arrived. The same was the jacuzzi. The cabin was tastefully decorated and the kitchen contained all the equipment one could need. Morten was very nice and easy to communicate with. Really enjoyed. Recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Øystein’s cozy cottage! Øystein was incredibly friendly and quick to respond to all our questions, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The house itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with beautiful nature views that made our time even more special. My family and I highly recommend staying here.

Large and spacious cabin that was nicely maintained, neat and clean. Nothing was missing. There were 16 of us and there was plenty of space. It's perfectly located for skiing with the slopes right outside the door. Really good and helpful host

the house had everything it is stated on the site, well equiped for a big group. the house has parking space for only 2/3 cars, we had to park in a nearby empty cabin. we were suprised that no wood was present on premisses. it was the first time we rented a cabin without wood. the house it self does not need it, it was warm enough, but we had to take a quick run to the supermarket to buy wood for the hot tub, it was not far but it would have been nice to know in beforehand. we also did not find butane for the pizzaovn. the slopes are only a couple meters from the cabin. we enjoyed the stay and recommend.

Had a really good stay at the cabin, which appeared brand new, neat and clean. It is worth paying attention to, there are two rather steep hills close to the cabin, which is why snow chains for most people are probably a necessity in the winter. Furthermore, there wasn't much storage space and no drying room for wet ski clothes. However, nothing that ruined our experience :)

If you want to visit Rauland, then this place is the best choice. There is enough space for a large family and you can go directly to the ski lift in a few steps. The house is incredibly stylishly decorated - modern yet cozy. High-quality kitchen equipment is available with a great coffee maker. And there is even underfloor heating in the bathroom. It is wonderful to sit on the balcony in the sun after skiing. And Jahn-Erik is always there for you when you have a problem. Our stay was great!!!
