The host was friendly and pleasant to use. I used it on a snowy day, and it was very helpful that the host told me about the snow conditions and handled lunch despite the sudden request. I'd love to stay there again if I get the chance.😄

The descriptions and photos matched what we saw in this place. Since the place was next to the highway's entrance, it was a bit difficult to drive to it, especially for the first time coming here. Be careful, don't go to the highway. The house was quite clean and it had all the stuff that we needed. It had a simple kitchen and we had cooked many times here. We had a great stay here and the bathroom, toilet, and heater were perfect. Thank you to the staff for preparing all the things that we needed here.

A good choice away from the city, with Luko on the river by Ichijoji

This was such an amazing place! Me and my group are from Atlanta Georgia and are used to a larger place for accommodations. This place had it all! The bathroom had 2 shower heads in there for ample room, bathroom was spacious, bedrooms were large and comfortable, and every picture from the listing was a perfect representation of the house! Yaya was so quick to respond, offered many suggestions for food and services, and was so nice and always available. We will always look here first for our stay every time we come to Osaka and highly recommend this place for any future travlers!

Outstanding place - one of the best I’ve stayed in via Airbnb. Excellent value to have a whole little Japanese house to yourself in a quiet area on the top of a hill. It’s the little things that all add up to make this special: clear translated instructions on all the electronics, all you need to cook in the fully equipped kitchen, Japanese his & hers robes you can wear with diagrams on how to tie the knots in the traditional fashion, free washing powder for the laundry machine, and more. Bed is a futon style mattress on the floor and extremely comfortable - I am a very finicky sleeper and often have problems but not here. The cherry on top is the free use of the e-bike - there’s not much to do in Onagawa (which is why I went there, wanted to go somewhere “real” and non touristy) and there’s only so much you can see on foot. With the bike I had two splendid rides through the countryside / hills and around the bay - it was really a special experience. Hosts are amazing & helpful!

Absolute must-stay if you're planning to explore Nikko and the surrounding areas, plus Keith's hospitality was very well received! I personally enjoyed the booklet he provides which details nearby attractions, restaurants, etc.. Definitely returning here on my next trip! Thanks for having us Keith!

Thanks to Maru's house, we had a wonderful time in Kansai. I highly recommend everyone to experience a very local, comfortable and quiet accommodation life ~ Environment: A house, loft, limited space, I personally recommend 2-3 people to stay more comfortably.Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with two beds and a closet, and one with a balcony, and the balcony has a washing machine and dryer.The whole house is very clean, the toilet is separate from the shower room.(But the square pillows in the bedroom don't feel very comfortable, it is recommended that the owner replace them) Surroundings: Big supermarket opposite the road (closes at 22:00), we often go to buy daily necessities, Family Mart convenience store near the subway station (24h), there is a pharmacy, the 711 is relatively far away; there are many restaurants nearby, there are Izakaya, Teppanyaki, pork rice set meal, eel rice, McDonald's and so on, about 8-10min walk to the market, there are Osaka Yaki and Takoyaki stalls that look very attractive. Transportation: Not in the city center, but relatively convenient.The house is near Hanazonocho subway station (Y line), 3-5 min walk to the station, there are two exits with elevators, it is also convenient to drag the luggage (as long as you don't go in the wrong direction), you can go to other places in Kansai from here, such as Namba or Shi-meita, transfer to other public transportation, it is very convenient.
